I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the place is pleasant, but what impressed me the most was the staff. The entire team is extremely respectful, professional, and always smiling. You truly feel welcomed and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at The Meretto Hotel Laleli and the staff were a huge reason for our positive experience. All the staff from front of house, kitchen and cleaners were welcoming, approachable and accommodating, and showed great hospitality and interest in our experience along the way.

We had a triple single room, which could be a little bigger. It seemed tight at first but once we sorted our luggage and gave everything a place, it was a good, tidy space and great for what we needed - somewhere to bed down and pop in for a midday nap. But I would probably go for a double and single next time.

The location was fab, less than 5 minutes from the tram station and bus stops. Watch out for early morning pick pockets on the tram - ladies wearing face masks/ scarves across their mouths.

The location was also great for walking. A 15 minute walk in any direction gives you plenty to explore.

The hotel is also 5 minutes walk from Pertevniyal masjid (beautiful blue interior) and Laleli masjid (pink interior).

For anyone with mobility issues, there are about 6 steep steps up to enter the hotel but the hotel can advise on accomodations.

The breakfast was fresh and the seating was nice, with a view. There could be more variety - there were new dishes on the day we were leaving.

The area is lively. There are fans from a building opposite which is noisy but we were fine with it all.

The hotel offers airport transfers as an add-on.

Would definitely return as we felt we were in safe hands during our stay.

As a couple we loved our stay here. The staff are wonderful, with great knowledge of the city, accommodated us with an early check in and had an airport shuttle sorted for us in the early hours of the morning. The breakfast was also great with a wide selection at a buffet. Located near a main intersection with easy access to trams and buses. When we come back we will 100% be staying here again.

I want to complain about fraud as the hotel is cheating customers through the Agoda app. The hotel’s name is Meretto Hotel. The address is Kemalpasa Mahallesi Salimpasa Sok. No: 25/27 Laleli - Fatih / ISTANBUL. I bought a standard room from them with amenities above the basement, but they cheat customers and send them to the basement. They use the name of another intermediary organization named Hotelbeds and say they are making reservations. Thus, the client remains deceived and the money is not returned. If the customer even shows their order through Agoda, they use a completely different booking from another company. I’ve never experienced this kind of cheating and problem in other countries. In Japan, Italy and France we always had the same room as in pictures, described features of the room. Here in Istanbul, they lie and do not help customers at all.

I stayed at the Meretto Hotel from August 23 to August 26. The hotel is located near the center, 2 minutes walk to the tram line, shops, a restaurant and markets around. The rooms are clean, they clean every day. Very polite and helpful staff at the counter. The breakfast is delicious. I chose this hotel based on reviews on the Internet and did not regret it. I recommend it to everyone.

Staff very ready to help and an excellent reception.
On the day of check out we had to leave before breakfast, so they prepared some sandwiches for us to take and they were ready at 4.30am.
