I loved staying at this hotel. The staff were incredible. Such lovely people. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and renovated. The location is superb, just a short walk away and all the wonderful mosques and promenades are right there. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loads of cafes, restaurants, transport. It’s all here. 🩵🩵🩵

Good location, great breakfast in a form of buffet (you can choose from ham, many types of cheese, cookies, cake, cucumber, tomatoes, bread, tea, coffee, jam, chocolate spread). Negatives - my room had a lot of black hair don’t know whose and linen was dirty.

Overall just your average hotel. The rooms weren’t that amazing and ultimately just sort of the basic room. Although decent location if you want to be able to see the blue mosque. The breakfast was a low for me as well, little variety within the food and some was cold and stale. Would recommend if you are planning to sight see all day and not spend too much time within the room.

Stayed here for almost a week. The room was rather small but very comfortable and clean, including toilet, with a sea view as well! The staff was very helpful, as I had to extend my stay and they gave great tips on sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was decent, too. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Place is decent with good service and very friendly and accommodating staff, location is absolutely perfect and central to almost most attractions of the city. Breakfast was good but could do a little variety.

I had a lovely time at the Hotel Coliseum Istanbul. The room was well maintained with a great view. Location is great for T1 tram and walkable to all major sites in the historic part of Istanbul. The breakfast was lovely and traditional. The hotel managers were all super helpful to answer all my questions about the sites, the culture and everything about Istanbul/Turkey! There is a market just outside of the hotel on Wednesdays I believe. Incredible place for the price and I would definitely come stay again! Highly recommended!

"Overall, it was a decent hotel, well-maintained and clean. We stayed in room 201 on the second floor, but if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, I'd recommend selecting a different room, as there was some noticeable traffic noise. Despite this, we enjoyed a pleasant three-day stay. While the breakfast could use some improvement, it's reasonable considering the price."

The room is tiny, the bed big and comfortable, pillow lumpy. There is a notice that you must wear a mask in this hotel, but noone does. The lift is tiny with mirrors, to confuse you. Breakfast was okay with nice scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bread, pastries. There is instant coffee, but you can ask for Turkish coffee.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

small and nice hotel very central, easy to get around in every part of the city. the staff is polite and kind I was in Istanbul for work and a bit of vacation I managed to do both without problems. they recommended me a place not very touristy and very Turkish and I was able to play a bit.. thank

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
