I booked rooms in advance using the "pay later" option. Unfortunately the next day the whole amount was debited from my creditcard. I phoned and emailed to express my disappointment but they kept on repeating the same messages. I urge everybody to be very careful with booking a room at this hotel and take into account that customer service leaves much to be desired!!!

Zdjęcia w ofercie nie są tego hotelu!!! Po przybyciu do hotelu, zobaczyliśmy ze zdjęcia w ofercie są fałszywe!! Od razu skontaktowałem się z Trip.com poinformować o oszustwie. Firma przez dwa dni mówiła że stara się coś zrobić. Niestety zakończyło się finalnie na zwrocie części pieniędzy. Niestety 1/3 kwoty. Pokazałem firmie prawdziwe zdjęcia. Niestety w ofercie nadal ! są fałszywe. Dostałem pokój na samej górze. Ocena 1/5.Warunki tragiczne! Stołówka: warunki jeszcze gorsze! Tragedia, jak mogą być takie warunki? Ocena 1/5 Jedzenie przez 7 dni ciągle to samo! Dżem, bagietka, jeden rodzaj sztucznej wędliny, pomidor, ogórek, trochę jakiejś sałatki i tyle. Aha, kawa najgorszej jakości, samemu się ją wsypuje do kubka. Uwaga: kubki są papierowe;))Nie ma filiżanek, czy szklanek. Tego, w żadnym hotelu nie widziałem. Ocena 1/5. I would like to share my impressions of my stay at the Serenity Hotel in Istanbul. I initially chose another hotel near the center in the Sultanahmet area. Upon arrival at the Istanbul airport, a representative of the host company, Fit holiday, decided to please me by saying that the hotel I had chosen could not accept me for some unknown reason. He offered me the Serenity Hotel and convinced me that it was even better than the one I had chosen. I had no choice, so I agreed after checking in and it was indeed not far from the center. I was also asked to sign a document that I had voluntarily agreed to change the hotel. When I was brought to the hotel from the outside, I realized that it was really a 4-story barn. And the same applies to the inside as well. I think the hotel was last renovated 40-50 years ago. They offered me a room on the first floor, but in reality it was not the first floor, but the basement. We checked in immediately and immediately after using the bathroom, water appeared on the floor, which did not go away, but kept coming. Even if you don’t use it. When I asked to resolve the issue, I was vaguely told that they might call a specialist. The specialist never came. The next day I asked to be moved to another room. But it turned out that the hotel was full. They moved me the next day. About the breakfasts. Terrible and poor. The only hot thing was tea. My recommendation is that no one choose this hotel. Unless, of course, you want to ruin your vacation.

Provided free by Turkish Airlines as we had a long layover. We were shuttled by bus, 30 mins away from airport, checked in and settled in a couple of minutes, had free dinner provided by Airline. Clean, efficient room service, comfortable. We had free dinner but we also had room service which was great and not expensive, and delivered quickly

Improve breakfast
It was all good other than breakfast. Breakfast time was 8 to 10 am and if you go at 9 Am you will not find many items. Even if they see you they never brought those things again like fruit and many items. I have never seen this behaviour anywhere else.

Basic but pleasant.
If you are looking to stay in istanbul to be very close to the blue mosque and hagia Sofia, this hotel is perfect. Room was basic but housekeeping was daily and it was very clean. Staff were pleasent and friendly. Would stay again.

For those who want to have a memorable trip, I advise you not to choose this place. It's not a hotel at all. I booked the room for 3 of my family members and they were upset all days. The staff are so rude, not helpful and respectful at all. The room was not clean and They didn't provide any cleaning service. The TV DID NOT work and they didn't take any action. The elevator had issue and we had to use stairs. The building was not like a hotel, more like an under construction building with the lowest facilities. I booked this place via booking and so regretful. The place it's not what it showed in the photos in the booking and I hope everyone leave their honest comments so other people could make their decision to avoid booking this kind of place. I added photo of what view you can expect to have.

A couple of days ago we returned from the hotel. The hotel in the Russian Federation is positioned as a 3*, but on the hotel's website, it is declared as a hotel without stars. But... The hotel is very good, clean, cozy. We had a room on the 3rd floor, room 304, we specifically asked for a higher room. Everything in the room is new, bed linen, mattresses, plumbing. Everything is clean. There is a TV in the room, one local channel works, just for background. There are batteries in the room, you control it yourself, by turning the tap. Upon check-in, there were towels in the room, three for each guest, slippers, soap, shampoo. The location of the hotel is very convenient. In the morning, breakfast is the same every day, but it was enough to have a snack and not go hungry. About the stairs... The stairs are ordinary, I did not notice anything steep, the light on the stairs is turned on by a motion lamp. The room is cleaned every day, good cleaning, they wash the floor under the bed. Summing up - I recommend the hotel!

What is acceptable. Convenient location. Clean rooms, maintained by unfriendly (maybe only with me) maid. Tolerable breakfast overall. Embankment 10 min. walk. Good Internet. What is bad. Steep spiral staircase and cramped conditions. In the rooms on the sea side there is a constant roar of a huge hood and a terrible view of the neighboring slum roofs. Old non-working TVs hang in the rooms. Although the breakfast is tolerable, the coffee is the worst in Istanbul, and the sausage is 100% soy and starch. The rooms are not worth the price, but it seems that all the hotels around are the same.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
