The S Apart & Suites Hotel in Alanya

I was at the hotel with family for 6/7 days. It is an averag hotel. It needs improvement to the hotel rooms and management/staff behaviour. It was 5 of us. The 5th bed they provided was all rotten. Abit my fault I didn't take the cover off to check the bed. I was itching all night with spots. I thought it may be because of hot weather. At the end my wife taken the covers off and the bed was all rotten. I taken some pictures and went down to speak with the hotel staff. I told them to replace the bed. They said no because I only have 1 night left in the hotel. I told them it makes no difference if it's one night or 2 nights. I will not be sleeping on this bed anymore. The guy with glasses said I can check out now. I replied to sleep where on the streets. I paid for 7 nights here why should I check out now. Then he tried to blame me that it was my responsibility to check Beds etc. Why the management should make sure the beds are fit for its purpose. Because of his comments it made me angry. I told them if the bed is not replaced I will not paying the air condition charge to compensate the difference. The manager who was setting in the office banged his desk and came out saying you are not checking out if I don't pay the air condition charge. Basically a threatening behaviour. At the end he came upstairs to check the bed. He agreed to replace it. I told the manager would be like his children's or family to sleep on this bed. He just looked at me but did not say anything. Obviously I know what the answer was. After 10 mins the guy with glasses came upstairs with the new bed. He taken the old one but no one came back to put the bed in the right place and put new covers and blanket. I went downstairs to check. The guy was in the kitchen. I told him about the covers and the blanked. He put his head down on the the kitchen cabinet and then said okay. I also found the guy with glasses tries to be professional but he isn't. His attitude is really poor. If it was a hotel in UK it would have been closed down. The day I was leaving the hotel the manager and the guy who works in the kitchen was standing and looking at me. The face was clearly showing thank god he is leaving. The management might reply back to defend themselve. That is normal because they are running a business. But please read my review and other reviews on this website and make your own decision. Honestly if you need a better service and quality rooms go somewhere else and pay abit more. The hotel can be good if the management look after the rooms and treat customers with courtesy and respect. Apart from that the hotel is in good location, only minutes away to shops and restaurants. The beech side is also not far away around 13.mins walk.
