we were at the Almera park hotel for a week at the end of July. The pool area is quite good, but small. The floors of the rooms are swept almost every day, but not cleaned. you have to buy a dish brush, dish detergent, general cleaner and cleaning cloths for the apartment yourself. The hotel promises to change the towels and sheets every three days, but on the fourth day we had to demand several times that they be changed because they had not been changed. they finally brought new towels at ten in the evening. 12 hours after the first request. The locked door of our apartment was opened twice at night during the week. When we reported it to the reception, they thought that the night porter would have gone to see which rooms were empty. a really strange explanation that we didn't believe. the hotel should know which rooms are booked without checking it at night. we had to put a barrier in front of the door at night so that no one could get in without being noticed. There were also big cockroaches in our apartment on the fourth floor, which we reported, but the hotel did nothing about it. Air conditioning for one room cost more than 3000 lira per week, which is an expensive price. the air conditioning could not be adjusted. you have two options, closed or full power. You only get one access card to the apartment, which is a bad situation for a group of several people. if you leave the room and take the access card with you, the electricity in the apartment will be turned off, along with the air conditioning. The spa department in the basement smells like a moldy and musty basement and the staff there are unfriendly. most of the hotel staff do not speak English so communication was difficult at times. The hotel beds are really hard because they don't have a mattress topper. Spring mattress only. the springs can be felt on the skin through the mattress. And the extra bed, which is therefore a sofa, is not suitable as a bed in my opinion. hard, dirty and smelly. The prices of the hotel's market and bar are four times higher than in the neighboring shops. There are many cats in the hotel lobby and pool area. cat urine smells in the pool area.

For any of those who wish to book this hotel and are fooled by all the positive reviews like I was, READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING. The owners of this hotel lure poor tourists into booking with them and I'm pretty sure they write their own 5* reviews. We booked the hotel seeing all the beautiful pictures of the main hotel which I am sure is lovely, but they moved us to the annex ONE DAY before we arrived. We are a family of 4 and ended up with only one bedroom with two single beds, and a sofa bed in the kitchen. The air-con was old, horribly dirty and worked very poorly. Only one of the rooms had air-con, which means that two of us had to sleep in 35 degree heat with no fan (we asked for this but nobody wanted to give us one). The sofa bed was in the living/kitchen area, and the fridge was very old and loud. There was a power cut which lasted a good few hours, and when we got back to the hotel from a day out everything we had in the fridge had to be thrown out. The corridors were pitch black and nobody bothered to see/ask if we are okay, or if we need anything which suggests that this happens often. When making the booking, we paid for wifi which simply does not work AT ALL in the rooms, and you're lucky to get a little bit of signal in the annex lobby. I know that we were not the only ones with this issue because the lobby was full in the evenings with people on their phones, and we spoke to other guests about this. The management is rude and does not care about the guests. The staff do nothing but smoke all day instead of giving the place a good clean which it so desperately needs. May I also add that none of the staff ever greeted us/said goodbye. Only 2 of them could actually speak English. The pool water was murky and dirty, and 80% of the deck chairs were broken. We (and other hotel guests) were bothered by strangers who were business owners in the area, trying to make us go to their spa/tattoo shop/salons. They will not leave you alone until you firmly say no, which then makes them turn very cold. This made us feel strange and unwelcome. If you order some food/drink by the pool, they will add this to your room and you can pay at the end. PLEASE remember to ask for an itemised receipt, because they made us pay more than we owed. They write everything by hand in Turkish, so you will not know if you are being scammed. I raised all of the issues with the air-con and the annex building with the main reception TWICE, but nothing was done, and I have seen that the business owners tend to be rude when replying to these reviews. Therefore, I just want to make it clear that we have raised concerns on the first and second night we were there, and we heard nothing back from anyone, let alone the manager of the hotel. On a final note, I just wanted to add that we were all very sick by the end of the holiday, dirty pool water or dirty air-con? I'll leave that for you to decide.

My fridge was not working at all. After telling them twice that they hav to fix it.
And on the last day, we had no warm water in the shower.
