Anahtar Apart Hotel in Alanya

Spent 2 weeks in a self catering room on the third floor with a sea view & we enjoyed one of our favourite holidays here! Some say the hotel is tired, I think it exudes an old school Turkish charm. Our rep messed up the time of one of our trips and although the staff don’t speak English they tried so hard to help me and rang him on their phone. A library of books is in the reception where there is also a great free Wi-Fi connection so I could still work when necessary. The pool was professionally cleaned by an outside company every morning & evening. It was so clean it was a pleasure to swim in. Couldn’t get my kids out of it. Conveniently located - a short walk from the beach. Promenade so pretty ! Beautiful authentic Turkish fish Restaurant if you turn right (only Turkish people eat there - they were surprised we found it). Closest restaurant is the reggae bar / restaurant on the seafront which is best for vibe & value locally. 10-15 min walk takes you into the main throng of the city or a 4euro taxi. Also only a short commute for eftalia waterpark (give the closer one a miss), the big hamam spas, where the pirate party ships are docked and paragliding. Fully recommend the pink panther trip too although it’s further to travel to. I would return in a heartbeat! Great value for money on our humble opinion.

Loved our stay very Friendly helpful staff. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is a little dated and cleaning not often enough but issues were attended to quickly

Was listed as a hotel it's more like self catering apartments that said only cooking facilities were a plug in hot plate but there was a good under counter fridge. Spacious kitchen diner with 2 couches that looked like they folded flat so could be used as beds. Bedroom had 2 single beds pushed together to form a double each with its own bedding altogether the apartment could probably sleep 6. Air conditioning unit was in the bedroom (€5per day additional cost) very efficient chilled the bedroom with the door shut or cooled the whole apartment with it open. Bathroom was a wet room with a shower in an alcove. There was also a small balcony insurance case north facing got sun rise and sunset but was shaded during the day nice views of sea and mountains this is possibly not so good on lower floor and requires you to be able to ignore or crop out the neighbouring buildings. Out side there was a pool approximately 10mx5m with open and shaded sun loungers a cover seating area where meals were served and a bar I never actually saw in use. Whole site was very clean but has a well worn apprance
