We came for an event in Dubai all the way from Abu Dhabi and stayed one night at the Metropolitan Hotel with breakfast included, and it was a truly pleasant experience

Opposite the hotel there is construction of 4 buildings and a highway, from which there is a lot of noise, from which the windows and doors do not save due to poor sound insulation

There is a grocery store on the ground floor. High-speed Internet in the room. All equipment in the room functions without problems

Low pressure of hot water, you have to wait a long time until the hot water finally starts to flow

I really loved this hotel! We arrived before 3 PM, but the reception staff were very accommodating and let us check in by 12 PM. They also kindly split our bed into two and provided two sets of bedding

Great location, but the soundproofing is terrible. I was so excited to see F1 World from my room when I first checked in, but sleeping at night was a nightmare! 😭 Warner Bros

As a racing fan, I actually enjoyed it! However, during check-in, only one of the four front desks was open, so I had to wait for over 30 minutes

An excellent hotel, typical of the InterContinental brand. Great location, with a free shuttle bus stop right downstairs that goes to several major theme parks

It was only when someone who appeared to be a local made a request that all four desks opened. I'm not sure if it's a temporary offer, but the hotel provided theme park tickets, which was a nice surprise

Rooms are super spacious and room service always on point. The restaurant of the hotel, Bull and Bear, also stand out as one of the best of the area. Haven’t tried the spa but the pool and the Hammam are cool

This is a great business hotel. The rooms are clean, and the facilities are excellent. It's very close to the subway station, and getting a taxi is super convenient. The dinner buffet was also quite good.

This hotel is only one train stop away from Dubai mall, walkable to train station, very convenience to move around, as a Holiday inn, it maintained good standard in every aspect, a nice place to stay.

The room wasn't huge, but it had everything we needed. The shower had great hot water and strong pressure. We had a nice view of the Twin Towers from our room, which was a plus

Across the street is the beachfront with water fountains and regular fountains, perfect for enjoying the view or going for a run. Just a few kilometers down the coast from the hotel, there's a free beach

This hotel is the tallest building around, so if you get a high-floor room, the view should be great. However, it seems that the glass exterior walls aren't particularly clean, possibly due to dust

General outside hotel: Watch for E coli here don't trust any water or water based food. Good news: See the Palm island from View at the Palm in St Regis across street

All the staff were very friendly. Highlight was the lazy river at the swimming pool.

Dukes has been a perfect stay for me and 3 friends! The staff are so attentive and helpful, buffet breakfast has been very good with lots of options and the pool/beach facilities are great! The rooms are comfortable and spacious! The staff are so sweet we returned to our room with a picture of ourselves on chocolate!! Fun surprise

Now for the series of unfortunate events. in advance requested high floor nice view. Got 7 of 16 floors, no view without cash. Deluxe room is beautiful but a Standard size. We were sick most of the time here

TV remote keeps skipping out of channels back to hotel home screen, like living in a TV maze. Cheap with the bath dispensers, squirt out teeny amounts so kill your fingers and patience. Coffee machine tasted truly bad

What's the point of this? Froze my wet head while waiting staff to show me invisible button. Lights and remote very high tech look so utterly flat minimalist buttons hard to work

Stayed in the apartment side of Paramount Midtown with access to shared hotel amenities. Feels like a 5-star Hollywood-style stay. Sauna for men was closed during our visit

The location is excellent, very close to Downtown, Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Mall. The rooftop infinity pool has amazing views. Check-in was smooth, and all facilities like the gym and restaurants were top-notch

You can see the Burj Khalifa from the 64th floor, but you have to order something to sit down and enjoy the view. The non-paying spots offer a terrible view

The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the airport, which is great for transit layovers. However, we stayed during a tennis tournament in February, and the walk to the tennis courts took about 12 minutes

Large cool pool, sun loungers, shower, there is a bar! Some of the sun loungers are in the water, it looks very unusual! the pool area is very clean, the staff is responsive and very friendly, they will always help! I especially liked Nadeem, thanks to him!

The hotel itself has fantastic views and facilities. The kids club is great and as are the kids pool and splash pad. I used the gym which had all the best equipment and was very clean and well maintained

I recently booked a stay at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi through the Yas Island website and had a fantastic experience

If you are lucky or are ok to fight for your comfort, everything will be fine :) Breakfast is amazing, and you can order additionally number of dishes not presented at the Buffet including avocado and salmon

Everything from the hotel and the staff were amazing. The staff were helpful, professional, and willing to go the extra mile. The hotel was very clean and the food was great. Will definitely be back again.

However, this one was presented to us as an upgrade to see view (no view though because of dirty windows). The next morning we complained about that and were moved to an amazing renovated real sea view room

Also, the bus stop which will get you to museum island is 5 min walking distance

So, I don’t know how to comment on the 5-star hotel because of this experience

This mark was attributed to me after checkout, even though it was already present upon my arrival. I found this both unfair and unprofessional, especially as it could have been raised during my stay

I also suggest that management implement a clear policy where rooms are inspected thoroughly before handover, and supported with documented photos confirming that all items are in good condition prior to giving the key to the guest

Despite all this, I cannot deny that the rest of the hotel services remain excellent. the old reception team, housekeeping, and valet parking staff were excellent and deserve recognition for their professionalism

Plus, getting around is super convenient! The room facilities are excellent, especially the bedding – seriously comfortable! Breakfast was also good

It's a six or seven-minute walk to the Fountain Square, and the pool also directly faces the Burj Khalifa. However, I really can't stay in rooms with tile floors and only a rug under the bed anymore

I love the drawer in your room with tea, cups and glasses. Plus, the free bottled water in a glass bottle. You can order off the menu AND go full buffet mode. Needless to say, I made the most of the food and good coffee
