Rove La Mer Beach, Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai

Extended my stay to enjoy the beach and the food! Their buffet is nice and staff is very accomodating. It’s so relaxing that this weekend, I didn’t even think of opening my laptop 😅

Good hotel

Amazing hotel, i will always recommend Rove especially La Mer location. The staff are absolutely wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The hotel rooms are always clean, many activities for kids and families. Perfect location close to Dubai Mall, City Walk, the palm jumeirah. It’s a very walkable area as well which I love.

Stayed at Rove La Mer Beach for a short staycation in early April 2026 and overall had a really positive experience. The hotel has a fun, colourful, and relaxed beachfront vibe, and the location within the La Mer/J1 development works well, especially with several great beach clubs nearby. It feels like a proper beach destination without being a luxury property.

Rooms are on the smaller side, which is probably the main trade-off, but they are well designed and I did appreciate that the bathroom is fully separate from the sleeping area (not always the case in newer hotels). Amenities are fairly basic, with a few things like dental kits and slippers only provided on request, and some small touches missing such as in-room tissues or moisturiser. Nothing major, just worth noting.

The hotel’s main dining option is a casual restaurant with indoor and terrace seating, plus a beach bar during the day. One thing to be aware of is that the building’s orientation means the pool and terrace areas fall into shade from mid-afternoon, which may or may not suit you depending on what you’re after. There’s also a convenient on-site shop for essentials, which is useful given the limited nearby retail options at the moment.

Service was friendly and efficient throughout. Check-in and check-out were both quick despite being busy, and staff were helpful without being overbearing. The overall crowd during my stay was mostly families and groups of friends rather than couples, so it’s not particularly a romantic-style hotel.

Overall, it’s a well-run, good-value stay with a strong lifestyle vibe. While the rooms are compact, the atmosphere, location, and pricing make it an easy recommendation for a casual Dubai staycation.

Very nice location and nice place to spend time with family and friends

This beachfront hotel was a bit pricey for a 3-star, but the facilities were great, and there were plenty of beach activities. The room was a little small. The breakfast, however, was amazing! When I first walked in, staff were handing out menus, and everyone seemed to ignore them. I took a closer look and realized that besides the buffet items laid out, you could also order one dish from the menu. I had the waffles and scrambled eggs, and they were absolutely delicious! Thumbs up! 👍

Now for the downsides. I booked a sea-view room, and downstairs was the beach and pool. I didn't realize it when I checked in, but when I returned to my room at night, I discovered there was a poolside bar right next to the hotel that played music until 2 AM. I called the front desk several times to ask them to deal with it, but it was no use – I was completely distraught. In the end, I had to pack my bags and switch rooms in the middle of the night. The staff were very good, but the noise was just terrible. I asked the guy who helped me switch rooms if no one else complained, and he said some people like to sleep with noise. 😓

The pool was heated and comfortable. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus to the city center, and the timetable is as shown in the picture.

A good hotel by the water. Practically new. Close to the center, and you can get to the mall by taxi for 15-20 dirhams. Good breakfasts and dinners. On the downside, there is a club in the building next door, so there will be loud music in the evening and at night. In my opinion, the price is too high for a three-star hotel. Have a nice vacation and good luck!

Perfect for families with kids! The breakfast spread is amazing, and the coffee is excellent. The hotel even has its own private beach, ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. There's also a dedicated swimming pool area for children to enjoy.

Amazing Stay at Rove La Mer Beach, Jumeirah

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rove La Mer Beach, Jumeirah. The location is perfect right by the beach, with stunning views, a relaxed vibe, and easy access to great spots around Jumeirah. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very comfortable, exactly what you’d expect from Rove and even better.

What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding service from the staff especially Rygine at the front office reception. She provided exceptional service with such warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcomed and valued, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her positive energy and attention to detail truly stood out and made a lasting impression on my stay.

Because of her amazing service, my experience at the hotel felt even more special. I genuinely look forward to staying at Rove La Mer Beach again, and I would love to meet Rygine once more during my next visit.
