I’m new to booking a day access pool and lunch at the Eat and Meet restaurant here at the hotel, and I had an incredible experience with the customer service. Our expectations were much higher. The in-room control tablet used to order services and amenities was not working. We waited almost 50 minutes for breakfast, and our luggage was misplaced during checkout. We also noticed stains on the carpet in the corridors. Mostly came for the pool, but it's also a lovely hotel. Pool is nice, recommend to go for sunset so you have both day/night view. Breakfast was surprisingly good (saying as someone who stays a lot in hotels), would do that again! Gym is open 24/7 and has a lot of equipment/is suitable (not just cardio machines like in many places)

The Shangri-La brand is truly trustworthy. Its Arabian castle-style architecture is impressive, and it's located right across from the beautiful Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The front desk service was excellent. My only regret is that I overslept and missed breakfast!

A pilgrimage to Versace. Absolutely thrilled! Luxury and extravagance are the main themes. The pool area feels like a nightclub. This is the most affordable luxury hotel you'll find in Dubai, and it's not overrun by Chinese tourists.

The hotel is luxurious and comfortable, with warm and attentive staff. Even in the early hours of the morning, the service staff didn't slack off. We encountered some issues during our stay, but the duty manager was quick to coordinate and resolve them. Breakfast was just average; the food, facilities, and service staff all need improvement.

The service was excellent. When checking in, the front desk staff told us which restaurants we could choose from, where breakfast was served, the times for everything, and the pool opening hours. They also provided a map and the operating hours for all the facilities.

A luxurious hotel with huge rooms, excellent staff, and impressive scale!

It was a wonderfully beautiful stay, as always 😊 We've stayed at the Waldorf three times already and have booked again for 2026. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The staff are very friendly and constantly attentive. The main person on the beach also provides 200% excellent service, is always in a good mood, and is constantly on the go.

I checked in at around 8pm and there was only one person working at the front desk and I had to wait. I asked if I wanted a king-size bed room or a double bed room and I was told I wanted a king-size bed room. But when I opened the door, I was told I was given a double bed room.

Hotel is at a great location. Spacious, clean and comfortable. I did not get the Burj view room as I was travelling alone and the balcony was slightly noisy as it's facing the other side expressway. Luckily the windows were good and was able to block off all the noise from traffic.

Great hotel in Dubai with a beautiful open sea view and no islands blocking the horizon. Arrived with high expectations and was absolutely stunned by its beauty! The buggy and boat services were excellent. Make sure to hit the beach early, as it gets impossible to find a chair in the afternoon. As a lazy person, I wanted to book dinner to make things easier, but the process was surprisingly complicated. Luckily, Trip.com helped sort it out.
