The hotel's location is great. It's a six or seven-minute walk to the Fountain Square, and the pool also directly faces the Burj Khalifa. However, I really can't stay in rooms with tile floors and only a rug under the bed anymore. The connection between the carpet and the tiles was too dirty. Also, are the EDITION towels inherited from some budget hotel? They're short-piled and stiff.

We enjoyed 5 nights in the kempinski hotel. However the hotel apartments do consist of quite dated room furniture. Very clean but not modern. Dubai is competitive with hotels so the overall hotel has a palace feel to it, they should definitely renovate bathrooms at least. All in all it was a good stay.

The hotel's front desk service was excellent. The hotel lobby is directly connected to the famous Dubai Mall, so you can access the mall right from inside the hotel. The hotel is wonderful. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the service is top-notch. The location is ideal, close to all the attractions, yet it's quiet enough to stroll along the canal. The breakfast is excellent. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
