George Hotel in Lvov

P.S. I was contacted by Michael, a manager after my wife posted this review on social media. There was mention of miscommunication between booking.com and the hotel and vise versa. Long story short the hotel stepped up and gave us a proper room rate and we came to an agreeable solution. I appreciate the monitoring of reviews and timely response.

Terrible experience. I booked 2 rooms in June for my family stay in early August and everything seemed well until July 29 when I modified my reservation to 1 less day as was allowed in the rules (still kept the same date as before for the remaining night). The rates in Lviv went up and it seems they wanted more money so they said they can't give me the rate I booked at and got a confirmation for. They didn't want to go through a proper process of cancellation or compensation so they just first flagged one card as invalid and then another one. (The cards work perfectly well and I have other reservations on them with no issues) First of all they left me scrambling to find 2 rooms during peak season and secondly they fraudulently flagged my credit cards potentially causing me issues with booking other accommodation on booking.com service. Very unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour on their part. I've raised my concern with the booking service and hoping there will be some sort of punishment for behaving in such a way.

The best hotel in Lviv. The hotel is conveniently located in the historic part of the city. The rooms are stylish and very clean. The room is comfortable and tastefully furnished. The attentive, responsive, and friendly staff readily accommodated our requests. The breakfasts and service are beyond praise. We really want to return!

Very nice hotel in the center of Lviv 😍 We had a cozy, spacious and well-equiped apartment, big balcony with a view to the old rooftops.
There is wifi, possibility to order breakfast, wash your laundry, safely park a motorbike.
Not as cheap as a hostel, but affordable.

Really nice hotel&hostel - modern clean rooms, great friendly positive staff, nice breakfast area.The hotel was modern, well decorated, clean and tidy - a typical European style chain hotel. Our room was very very clean. 5 STAR HOUSE KEEPING STAFF!!! THANK YOUUUUU.

The staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, common spaces were nice, and the breakfast was amazing. The croissants served at breakfast were to die for. My only complaint is that we were there in the dead of summer and the rooms got very hot even with leaving the windows open. Also, the windows don't have bug screens and the only way to tolerate the heat was to leave the windows open which lead to lots of mosquitos and bugs flying around.

Nice off-the-path hotel. Food store, restaurants, pubs, and city sights within short walk. Receptionist was wonderful and spoke good English. The room was nice, fully equipped kitchenette. Slept great, receptions had to awaken me so I wouldn't miss my train, above and beyond. Thank you. I will return.
