Room not ready on arrival. Not offered parking permit that overheard being offered to other guests. Awful eggy smell in the corridor near room we were allocated. No view of the suspension bridge and valley during breakfast as the windows had not been cleared of the condensation. Little to no friendliness and general service from both the reception and restaurant staff. Need to do much better!

Lovely night stay before a flight from Bristol . Great room although could do with a bit better lighting. Everything was spotless the staff were great and a really nice breakfast

We cannot comment on breakfast as we didn't have.
Loved our room with a nice view, good decor and really comfortable large bed.
Nice supply of tea and coffee bags and pods towels, slippers and dressing gowns provided.
Good temperature control in bedroom, under floor heating in the bathroom and a powerful shower.
Very pleased to get a £15 bar credit for not using housekeeping which we thought was a nice touch.
Parking is at a premium and had to pay £24 for 2 days parking, but that is comparable to other cities we have stayed at.
Not so enamoured by the tired dark decor in the entrance and bar and the table we sat at in the bar area was very sticky. Everything there looked rather run down unfortunately.
The reception area looked like a dark funeral parlour including the body drawers at the side so rather quirky but I found it quite amusing.
Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly apart from 2 members of staff in the pub attached to the hotel who were quite rude and abrupt with me for no reason.
On the whole though we were very happy with our stay and really enjoyed the tasting menu in the restaurant where the staff were very friendly and informative.

Lovely plush hotel, with a nice chilled out vibe, in a great location. The staff were truly amazing! and the vegan breakfast was great, especially the sausages and black pudding, doggy breakfast was much appreciated too!

Staff and facilities are great at this hotel. The view sitting outside having drink is breathtaking.
I have only given 4/5 for property conditions as rooms are looking a little tired. Still lovely but could do with a little uplift
Will stay again if ever in the area.

A good restaurant. Food quality is great but you do pay a price commensurate with that so whilst it is not cheap it is reasonably priced. The service however is excellent, the waiters knowing what the right balance is between helpful and unobtrusively blending into the background so as not to disturb the dinners - no chatting amongst staff 'on the floor' too which is exactly the sort of professionalism that got them a big tip.

Don't be put off by the basement location - this was a really nice restaurant with friendly and efficient service, very tasty and fresh food with good portions. The pork ribs were succulent with plenty of meat on the bone, to name just one example. Really nothing to complain about. Good atmosphere and our waiter was friendly and helpful.

Superb food, wonderful service. Very knowledgeable staff as we are vegan. Food served in decent amount of time. I prefer to go early when it's not too busy as one can hear every others conversation during busy time. Can be fascinating buy not for me. Won't stop me from liking their food and service though.
