Lovely grounds. Nice staff. Great breakfast, lots of choice, good coffee. Rooms are okay. Bed firm. Bathroom needs updating! Had problems with our shower.
A safe and minibar would be useful. Part of the window in room 501 didn't close properly.
The breakfast was excellent, and the free parking was perfect.
Wow! Where do I even start?
After a stressful time in the bus and getting wrong directions from the hire car GPS being out of date, arriving at this place made everything worthwhile.
Firstly the place is incredibly classy and stylish, both inside and out.
The place resembles a mansion.
Then the room. Much larger than any I'd stayed in the UK up to that point and with fantastic central heating...
The location is quite remote and quiet, and the surroundings are not convenient. It is best to drive there. The restaurant is OK, and the service is average.
Very nice place . I love this vibes at this romantic place
A quasi-five-star hotel in the UK is probably the domestic four-star standard👍🏻
The environment is still good and very quiet.
There are Welcome Drinks at the front desk 🍹 Very considerate❤️
Extremely helpful staff very clean and comfortable ideally situated will definitely stay again
Close to all the shops and restaurants. Great location. Walking distance to park and high street. Good and modern.
Grubby carpet, squeaky cheap bed, poor pillows, bad shower water pressure. ******* room lighting design that only allows all lights on or off, no reading lights. Refused late checkout despite requesting at booking time.
A comfortable enough stay at the Future Inn. Though our room was a bit noisy from constant traffic outside on busy multi lane road. We had requested a room facing the rear but one may not have been available - though we remarked that the hotel did not seem busy.We appreciated the easy parking arrangements. And the buffet breakfast was well above average for this type of hotel. On a previous stay our...
Great stay at this hotel again fantastic location and very friendly staff plus parking you can’t go wrong there.
Excellent location and value for money. Game changer is free parking up to 1pm on day of departure in multi storey car park next to hotel
It was a great experience and very relaxing for my wife and my self,The staff were so friendly and helpful and welcoming,I would say here a gain
Very good. Nice place, nice staff. Breakfast is a bit up market for me. I prefer just to be left to a no nonsense full English. This is saying the quality and presentation is more than I want
The receptionist was very helpful and check-in was easy. We were in the Beringer room which is large with a great bathroom. Unfortunately the air-con/heating unit was broken and not heating the room. However there was an oil radiator in the room. We also couldn't call reception directly due to the lack of a phone, so had to call the main number from a mobile. Breakfast was good, but we arrived late...
Lovely building, the old sugar house in the city centre. Bedrooms are large. Restaurant is spacious, French cuisine, very tasty and not cheap! (as you would expect).
Great spacious room, very accommodating for us travelling with a baby providing a travel cot, extra towels and a changing mat. Luxurious staff and very friendly staff
Room was great, much bigger than I was expecting. Breakfast was excellent, great choices available.
Stayed here as was working a few minutes walk away. Basic but was great for what was needed (A bed and close proximity to work).
The first time we stayed it was lovely . The second time was not pleasant sadly .

This hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop from which the University of Bristol, the Bristol Bus and Coach Station, and Temple Meads station are easily accessible. I appreciated the detox water with lemon slices that they offer in the lobby. The room is quite small, and the lights are dim. However, it is comfy enough for a few days in the city.
It was noisy and we could hear even someone walked

The hotel was perfectly situated across the road from the train station and within easy walking distance of the town centre. We were checked in by Amber, who was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and the buffet provided was plentiful. Definitely would stay again!
Opposite Temple meads station on the main ain road, there is parking but be careful as the entrance is immediately at the end of the building and is not obvious. Night staff were very accommodating and helped with bags.
Breakfast was included and set us up for the day.
Really good stay. Nice to have the option of two single beds in a twin room.
Excellent size bathroom.
Room clean.
Nice location for Temple Meads, about 20 mins walk to the centre of Bristol.
Good breakfast the next day.
The room was big, had all amenities, service was good, and breakfast was delish!!!
Amazing service. Friendly staff and clean room. Very lovely hotel and so close to the train station. Breakfast was lovely too.
After hours of travelling from abroad we needed somewhere that was close to the railway station to travel home the following day .on arrival very late at night from checking in to being in our room was within 5 minutes. Room very clean tea and coffee amenities the bed fabulous couldn't fault it very clean and comfortable as was the room air con was great due to traveling and being tired we felt very...

Staffs were kinds and my room was clean.
I would like to recommend for travellers.
Thank you
Great services, welcoming fruits and nice breakfast provided. Staffs are welcoming and approachable.
We had an excellent stay at the Washington. The staff we met were all friendly and attentive. The room was perfect for our short stay with all expectations met and a very comfortable bed. The location is great with plenty of eating and drinking establishments within an easy walk. We used the parking without issue which was a bonus. Overall I would recommend the Washington to anyone planning a short...
The staff was really helpful and it was a really nice place to stay for some days.
Rooms are comfortable and staff very friendly! Very good breakfast, they have english breakfast available plus regular choices.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
Room very clean and tidy.
However we arrived for breakfast which was included and why we booked this hotel to find that the chef had called in sick so there was only a basic continental breakfast . The staff were unhelpful and slow at breakfast . My husband had an orange for breakfast and I had a piece of toast !! Not what we paid for .

Lovely room: quiet, spacious, mini fridge with milk and biscuits, all appreciated. Shower with mould is what lets it down, re-grout and the room would be perfect!
All excellent staff , room and food . Very convenient for travelling back and forth to Southmead Hospital
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere
Great room that was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were great and super friendly supplied extra tea milk and water when needed.
Great staff and lovely rooms , would certainly recommend for a short stay .
The room was excellent. However when we arrived there wasn’t anyone to greet or acknowledge our arrival.
The Staff are very polite and friendly.
The first problem was the room which is only accessible by a mounting goat
Nice hotel, great location in clifton tidy rooms with comfy bed, decent prices
POSITIVES:
Perfect location, friendly staff, rooms were clean and modern with biscuits, tea/coffee and mini bar. Very comfortable soft bed.
NEGATIVES:
Both the room and bed were quite small and cramped and fan in the bathroom wasn’t very powerful
Parking needs to advertised as limited and street parking. as we found priority was given to people visiting the hotel and not guests staying.
Clean room and very welcoming staff. Breakfast available at extra cost.
Perfectly acceptable well maintained property for a relatively inexpensive night in the Bristol area

Lovely pub with rooms. Great room accommodation, excellent staff and lovely food! Will definitely return when flying from Bristol airport.
Great rooms, friendly staff and great food.
Huge choice of wonderful breakfast options (I tried most of them)
Rooms 3 and 4 at the front of the building are extremely loud - lorries passing all through the night. Bathrooms in need of maintenance with smelly drains, poor shower and broken plug. Food and staff excellent though so if you're not bothered by road noise worth a stay.
Amazing room, very well decorated and everything thought of, comfortable stay and will return and recommend. Not far from Bristol airport so an ideal stopover if planning a trip from the airport . Nice en-suite, tv, tea coffee facilities, radio and very comfy bed
Ideal place before flying from Bristol airport. Room was excellent and the staff superb. Would certainly use again.
Great food with gluten free iptions - available all day. Lovely spacious room and bathroom and staff were most welcoming and helpful. The only downside was road noise - our room was roadside and we stayed saturday night. Maybe it would be quieter mid week tho i dont know. Otherwise a great inn.
The room was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. Good breakfast too. Felt safe and secure on my own. I would return.
Great little stopover for the evening before our flight to Malta. Great accommodation, great location only 10 minutes from Bristol airport and great food. Also had a little walk about the area during the evening.
Nice spacious room as the photos showed, staff were friendly but busy. Car parking was an issue I specifically booked a place with parking but it was difficult to find and not clear in the instructions before hand. That’s the only real point I have everything else was as I expected thank you.
Great accommodation with fantastic food and service
Was a bit shocked to have to pay for an extra bed for our daughter
The location is very convenient, very close to the famous tourist spot. The facility was not very clean, which a little disappointed me.
My stay was clean and comfortable. The location was very good. The staff was helpful and available. The set-up was a bit awkward. The common room wasn’t the most welcoming.
It is good for students or solo travelers but not for couples or families.
Not too bad for a hostel. Close to the river and a lot of restaurants
It's a very pleasing experience. Everything is convenient, and the staff are invaluable. The best thing is its location!
Overall great stay, the toilets are the showering area was separate, lights sometimes turn off when it can’t detect you inside, but good size rooms, service was good, remember to bring a padlock.
Lovely experience at the Channings. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially after catering for such a big group. Atmosphere was great. Phone calls before hand to make sure everything was correct and happy. Very reasonably priced and very helpful. Group of 20. Would recommend
Stayed here with friends after a night out in Bristol. Dan and the whole team were great. So accommodating to everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and room was spacious. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and breakfast in the morning was excellent. Really lovely staff. Perfect location.
Lovely staff at hotel and bar and restaurant . We loved the food and the stay. The staff could not do enough for you! So lovely and polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Not a hotel I would usually choose but it’s location suited. Very dated and could use a massive update
I was very disappointed
Room was very standard for the price and no lifts - this place needs an update
The bar was okay but thats it
Good property for one or two nights. Tv did not work in room although staff resolved this immediately.
The room had two single beds (old) and a WC/shower room (this unheated and remained wet during the 4-day stay. Continental breakfast which included a variety of items (sliced cheese packet mould green). Parking available and good WIFI reception. Road noise not an issue. Depending on weather, would be more appreciative if not a winter stay. Hosts very nice and welcoming.
Very friendly welcome. The Old Star was just what I needed.
Absolutely lovely building , cosy and fresh . The breakfast is continental but you can have a hot breakfast on request at an extra charge .
The owners are very pleasant nothing is to much trouble for them and there is ample parking. The room that we stayed in was very comfortable clean and warm and the bed was to die for . Nice view of the countryside and would thoroughly recommend .
I felt at home in the b&b and liked that you could get your own breakfast and there were facilities such as a microwave should you need it. It was very convenient that it was so close to Glenside university as well. The host was very welcoming and helpful.
Wonderful location in a very beautiful surroundings. Good value for money and on site EV charger is a bonus.
I stayed here for 3 nights for a work trip to Bristol. It’s easy to get to and the room was very clean. Breakfast is basically help yourself from the fridge, toast, cereals and yoghurts, which was perfect for me. I stupidly left all my chargers plugged in and she very kindly sent them back to me. I left on a Friday and they were back by Monday, which was a very kind gesture.

nice and quiet location, the staff Komal and Alex manage efficiently with the given resources and respond patiently to all the guests irrespective of their queries...good eateries nearby...self check-in being a concern for many guests, the staff respond accordingly helping with creating room codes etc...
Well, this was an odd stay. Check in was confusing; apparently we should have received a text message and email with codes to access the hotel and room. The lady at the reception desk was able to provide us with the codes but this process was a bit of palaver and involved having my phone’s text message inbox scrutinised, which I have to admit made me feel a little uncomfortable.
When we arrived in...
No lift. No food provided. The location is a bit far from temple mead station but close to the university. The room is small and quite old.
Staffs are friendly and the hotel provided free breakfast, but the hot water and milk would be not enough if the customers have breakfast late
The first thing I really appreciate is the friendliness of the staff. They offer help even though you have not ask! Very considerate.
They offer grab and go breakfast which has many items: Yogurt, apple/banana, muffin, energy bar and drink!
They also have a little drinking bar that you can serve yourself! So I add some marks on amenities part.
Yet there are something you can take a reference if you...
I found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant I would be happy to stay their again

Fantastic location in the centre of Bristol and novel accommodation in a silver airstream rocket!
At room 8 we lost electricity in the mornings due to a electrical failure :/
had a problem with smell in my room and was immediately moved no questions asked
great staff and team returning customer
Stayed at Brooks Guesthouse for a few days during a business trip. Cosy room and excellent location. Good value too. Thank you
Very recommended, we had a great experience.
Conveniently located close to the centre
Warm welcome and fast check-in. Unfortunately very noisy overnight with bars behind noisily emptying glass in yo bins, people talking loudly, street sweeping in the early hours. Bathroom small and room a bit tired, with cracks in bedside table. Got an excellent rate on trip.com

Cheap and cheerful. Close to the city and nice walked around. No parking. Friendly staff
Relaxing
It was calm and relaxing
It was okay for a 1 night stay
I stayed here for 1 night as 1 adult with a shared bathroom. I don't understand these nasty reviews that people have left. All I expect is clean and comfortable. Some people just enjoy trying to ruin someones business. I was greeted with a smile and I had a nice little room to myself, filled with a kettle, mini fridge, tea, coffee, little plastic milks and biscuits, iron and board, mini fan, heater...
basic accommodation - guess you getting what you are paying for. No Car parking. road next to it is permit parking only Mon - Sat and other street on other side is pay to park but only for 3 hours between 9am and 5pm Mon - Sat then you have to move it. Nothing really local and had to get Uber or Taxi to get anywhere. Shower in shared bathrooms not very powerful and third bed in room was a old sofa...

This hotel was fabulous!! Staff was friendly and parking was in a secure parking building/ramp! Very walkable to all areas near the University of Bristol!
Room was lovely. Spacious, clean, well supplied with toiletries and refreshments. Car parking no problem. Easy access to all that Bristol offers
Had a cosy double ,spotlessly clean,comfy bed,friendly receptionist,amazing breakfast!quiet location
I had a very pleasant stay at the Berkeley Square Hotel in Bristol. The location is excellent—quiet and leafy, yet only a short walk from the city centre, the university, and Clifton. It’s ideal if you want to be close to everything without being right in the middle of the noise.
Secure covered Parking available in the square for guests at a price. Breakfast excellent, and really comfy bed and nice touches in room (biscuits, fruit etc). Only downside was lift out of order so hauling a large suitcase up 3 flights of stairs not ideal. Lovely warm welcoming staff.
Clean room, great breakfast, great service. Was staying overnight on university business and couldn't have wanted more.

We were welcomed by a very friendly, helpful and smiley Italian lady.
Location is great, room nice and clean, but a bit small.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but we had a pleasant stay.
In short a pleasant stay!
Staff was kind, location was great. I had a room in their smaller secondary building and I didn't know the hotel didn’t have a lift so carrying all my bags up flights of stairs wasn't much fun... but everything else was great!
Attention to detail excellent. Very clean and spacious for a small double. Staff friendly and helpful. Hairdryer needs updating!
Stayed at short notice after being left in the lurch. Clara on reception was excellent and went the extra mile to look after us.
Great location but a few issues with early check in and our room was unfortunately very noisy due to its location within the building.
We will definitely return sometime but will request a quiet room.
The staff were friendly. The room was functional, quiet, light and airy and the bed was very large and comfortable.
The on-site parking is very convenient.
