The hotel service was good, they provided free water and fruit. The breakfast in the morning was also nice, with a decent variety of choices, and unlimited coffee and juice refills.

The only downside was that the room was quite small, and the hotel's hallway was also narrow.

Overall, it offered good value for money.

This place is spotlessly clean, and the owner is truly dedicated to running it well. The front desk staff, especially the young man, is incredibly patient, enthusiastic, and thoughtful.

It's very close to the London Eye and Big Ben, just a 20-minute walk.

You can take the 63 bus to King's Cross Station, making day trips to Cambridge and Edinburgh really convenient.

Bus 148 offers a scenic route past the city's most iconic attractions – no need for a Big Bus tour!

This is my second stay here, and I honestly can't recommend it enough.

The breakfast is quite substantial for me, and my Chinese palate was perfectly happy with the eggs, oatmeal, milk, and coffee. They even provide purified water and fruit! It feels like the owner isn't even trying to make money, just completely focused on customer service.

There are two supermarkets nearby, and the area feels safe, but I'd advise not coming back too late. London teenagers can be a bit... excitable, to say the least!

small than expected, but I just accept the room anyway. The breakfast is okay. Heating is very very warm and dry.

The receptionist are very friendly and warm, we checked in at 2am and they still kindly invited us into our room.

The room was spacious with water, cookies and fruits, and these were refilled every day. Free buffet breakfast offered every morning, with toast, cereals, juice and even a machine for coffee. The hotel was very generous in every way. The AC was warm enough and the temperatures could be easily adjusted. It was sensitive and the room temperature was changed within minutes.

We asked for bowls at night to cook our instant noodles and the hotel generously provided us with bowls and utensils.

The location was not the best, but it’s within 1 hr walking distance to most of the tourist spots, but there was a bus stop very close to the hotel that which linked to most of the tourist spots. We had no difficulties in travelling around London was the most minimal transport cost.

This is like the best hotel we’ve ever been in Europe. Clean rooms, adequate amenities with high quality, friendly staff, warm water, we will definitely stay in this hotel again next time when we are in London.

Great location and very quiet surroundings. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the breakfast was good. The room was very clean, and they even provided complimentary bottled water, fruits, and cookies. The staff were all very helpful.

What a fabulous hidden gem. Such a reasonable price, helpful staff, perfectly warm and cosy for me and my daughter. With amazing art everywhere. We’ll be staying again!

This is a very cozy hotel and quite close to the city center. It feels very welcoming, the front desk staff are friendly, and they offer free luggage storage. If you need anything, you can ask the front desk, and they will try their best to help you. It was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in London.

I stayed for 8 nights. I had originally booked an own room with a shared bathroom, but the manager, Shahram, kindly suggested that an en-suite room would be more comfortable for such a long stay. He even allowed me to see the room before making a decision, which I really appreciated. On top of that, it was a free upgrade.

I received a bottle of water and some fruit every day, and breakfast was also included for free. At the restaurant, a lady named Eva greeted me with a warm smile every morning. I was very satisfied with my stay.

For long-stay guests: There is no laundry room on-site, and the hotel does not provide a laundry service. The front desk can refer you to a partnered company, but you’ll need to download an app to use it. There is also a laundrette called Long Lane Launderette, about a 17-minute walk away, where you can get your laundry done at a much cheaper price. The small-size service costs £13, or £12 if you bring your own detergent.

Genuinely impressed by the attentive and friendly staff, they served our plates without needing to ask who ordered what (and they weren't brought by the same person who took the order). Gorgeous selection of rare cuts, well prepared and served with unassuming simplicity. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and appreciated the bill not going through the roof. Will definitely come back.

Iconic uncompromising post-modern take on traditional carnivore eating. A Viking raider or a Dickensian trencherman would be equally happy to get their feet under these tables. The menu is as stark and to the point as the totally whitewashed interior, and what appears on your plate is exactly as described on the menu. Artful only in its painstaking simplicity, this is honest cooking elavated to high art. It's unique minimalism is trendy, of course, but at St John they would be doing exactly the same thing if it wasn't. Nor does simplicity come at all cheap. But what you eat here on any visit will so linger in the mind that you will probably need to come back for more. One part your grandmother's cooking, one part school-dinner, and one part sheer genius. The experience can divide opinion but I love it. Great wine list and excellent beers too.

This restaurant is a pioneer of nose to tail eating, therefore expect to see offal and bone marrow on the menu, there are other things as well but it is primarily about sustainability. The room is more utilitarian than glam but is very comfortable with its whitewashed interior. If you would like to understand what British food is, this is an excellent place to start

We had a very good meal here. the parsley and bone marrow salad (really set up to be spread on toast) was fantastic. I had the Hake and enjoyed it but the courgettes were too soft and overly buttery for my palate. My wife had the beetroot salad and the beef and enjoyed both. We followed with the Eccles pastry with the cheese - really rich and a great pairing. The dining room is quaint.
