I booked this hotel for New Year's Eve, and the room had a beautiful view of the fireworks 🎆. The location is excellent; as soon as you step out, you can see Big Ben~

The facilities are a bit dated, but the room itself was very large and spacious. The hotel breakfast was also quite good. Mobile self-check-in is available, so you don't need to go to the front desk

Also, make sure to lock your door securely and consider propping something against it, as someone tried to open my door by pulling the handle past 5 AM, which was quite alarming

I paid a higher price for my booking. On Monday, March 23, 2026, in the morning, I went to request a room change, and the reception told me to pack my bags and leave them there, and to pick up the key card in the evening

After a while, reception called room 2084 to say the door was fixed, but when I tried to open room 2085, it still wouldn't open. I had to go down to reception a third time. Importantly, they never answered the phone

After an hour and a half, we still couldn't get into our room, and my wife started getting frustrated. Finally, reception told me to move from room 2085 to room 2069. I felt room 2069 was smaller than room 2085

On this third occasion, I asked reception to come up to my room, but it was the same problem; they couldn't open the door with their key card either. I had to go down with reception a fourth time

Attended for an interview/appraisal in their meeting rooms. Very helpful staff who helped me print something last minute! Delicious food set out whilst waiting... Would love to stay here as a guest.

I checked in on March 20, 2026, and received key cards for rooms 2084 and 2085. I went out and returned around 6 PM. Neither key card for room 2085 worked

Great stay at the Hilton Hotel in Islington. Everything was excellent, spotless rooms, friendly and professional staff, and great service throughout

The front desk staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean and it was a fantastic location. I booked here at the last minute and it was great.

This is a well placed hotel mid way down Upper Street so excellent for Islington. I stayed 2 nights and had two rooms which were both excellent. one with a bath and one with a shower

The hotel is excellent and very centrally located. The rooms are extremely comfortable with mattresses and pillows that are superb.

The hotel's location is excellent. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's very close to the subway station. You can even walk to Trafalgar Square. The room includes complimentary water and is cleaned daily

Great location — just off Oxford Street and only a short 3-minute walk to Marble Arch Station, which made getting around so easy. My Queen Room was a comfortable size, though the view wasn’t much to look at

Very good location BUT the rooms are very small with a very small window and a very small double bed. The room stank of cigarettes and there was still paper in the toilet. We only got towels for one.

The service is best across the hotels I ever stayed, they are friendly and passionate and get things done in a very cool manner, especially Daniel and team when arrange the last minute taxi to the airport and it is James Bond feeling

Have stayed here before - good location close to tube and next door to a casino. Did not eat here so cannot comment on food. Room big enough with a good shower.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past three years. I asked for Shattaf as usual but when rooms with Shattaf were fully booked (Christmas time), they upgraded my room at no charge at all

Hotel in a good location just a few step from Gloucester Road tube station. Housekeeping and Concierge are nice people. I would be back to this hotel again because of its location and concierge was helpful.

I do think they are doing everything they can to make stays as good as possible, since they can’t really do anything about the room sizes

Checked in to hilton 3 times this trip and was attended to by a Mr H**** at this hotel. Comparatively speaking, check in this time wasn't great. Didn't feel welcomed at all.

The air conditioning was on but it was weak. Thankfully the window opened slightly but it remained warm in the room. Bathroom was dated, quite small and felt cheap

Strangely in the morning the shortcut to the O2 doesn't open til 10 am because the O2 isn't open until 10 am meaning you have to walk all the way round the O2 to get to the car parks, glad it wasn't raining!

Breakfast was very slow when ordering from the menu though, it only had 4 dishes yet 25 mins after ordering we had to cancel as we ran out of time to eat it before we had to leave

Booking a one-bedroom suite with kids was absolutely fantastic, especially with the sea view. The breakfast and pool were big hits with the little ones

I recently stayed at the Hotel Plaza in Waterloo, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, though it definitely had its ups and downs. The Good: The room itself was lovely—clean, well-maintained, and comfortable

We stayed at Park Palaza Waterloo for three nights before Xmas, the overall experience of staying at this hotel was great, staff were welcoming and friendly, breakfast was great with variety of choices, room was spotless clean, only downside is the body lotion in the bathroom in our room was run out and had not been topped up during our stay

The pricing is relatively reasonable for the area, and the location is excellent. From a value-for-money perspective, it is still a workable option if budget and location are the main priorities

The property has a long history and, although it has been renovated, there were several comfort issues. The central air conditioning was extremely noisy, and the windows did not insulate well against the cold or wind

The room was positioned in a narrow gap in this buildings, meaning there was very little privacy — with the curtains open and lights on, it was easy to see into neighbouring rooms and vice versa

There also appeared to be an air deodorising device in the room, which produced a high-pitched mechanical sound and emitted a strong disinfectant-like smell that was quite unpleasant

The room felt slightly warmer only when the curtains were fully closed. A portable heater was provided, but the room was still cold unless the noisy air conditioning was left on

The facilities are a bit old, but the service is excellent and the hygiene is good.

Toilets are small, all hotels facility apart from gym is sublet out to 3rd party. I wouldn’t stay here again for the price. Staff are friendly, but just better value elsewhere. Great location tho.

Stayed at the hotel for one night attending a conference. My room was exceptionally clean and furnishings great quality. The bed was very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was very good and he staff excellent. Location perfect, room was very good. Although as a woman I would have liked a magnifying mirror to use for my make-up, not having to phone housekeeping to bring me one.

We have no good experience in this hotel, when we went to our room first night, find there was something broken on the ground and we told the staff next day for repairing, however until we leave four days later, nothing changed

Our stay here was a breath of fresh air after our experience in a shoebox hotel room in another hotel closer to London Kings Cross. The hotel has been recently renovated and now has a modern artsy interior
