good facilities, and friendly service. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.
The London Metropole Hotel exceeded my expectations during my recent stay. The location is excellent, situated near major attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the city
The location is excellent and its within 20mins to touristy spots etc
I think if it’s not for the good location and the luggage service at the concierge, I think the stay would have been more awful
The staff were warm and welcoming, providing exceptional service from check-in to check-out. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with modern amenities, offering a comfortable retreat after a busy day
Overall, my experience at the London Metropole Hotel was outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London. I look forward to returning in the future!

I booked this hotel for New Year's Eve, and the room had a beautiful view of the fireworks 🎆. The location is excellent; as soon as you step out, you can see Big Ben~
Staff speak all languages so good for all visitors from anywhere in the world. Central location so can get anywhere in london easily
The room's location is excellent, and the view is great.
The facilities are a bit dated, but the room itself was very large and spacious. The hotel breakfast was also quite good. Mobile self-check-in is available, so you don't need to go to the front desk
Also, make sure to lock your door securely and consider propping something against it, as someone tried to open my door by pulling the handle past 5 AM, which was quite alarming
One of my favourite hotels in London. Brilliant location for Big Ben, London eye etc. great room and facilities like gym and pool. Great stay

I paid a higher price for my booking. On Monday, March 23, 2026, in the morning, I went to request a room change, and the reception told me to pack my bags and leave them there, and to pick up the key card in the evening
After a while, reception called room 2084 to say the door was fixed, but when I tried to open room 2085, it still wouldn't open. I had to go down to reception a third time. Importantly, they never answered the phone
After an hour and a half, we still couldn't get into our room, and my wife started getting frustrated. Finally, reception told me to move from room 2085 to room 2069. I felt room 2069 was smaller than room 2085
On this third occasion, I asked reception to come up to my room, but it was the same problem; they couldn't open the door with their key card either. I had to go down with reception a fourth time
Attended for an interview/appraisal in their meeting rooms. Very helpful staff who helped me print something last minute! Delicious food set out whilst waiting... Would love to stay here as a guest.
I checked in on March 20, 2026, and received key cards for rooms 2084 and 2085. I went out and returned around 6 PM. Neither key card for room 2085 worked

Great stay at the Hilton Hotel in Islington. Everything was excellent, spotless rooms, friendly and professional staff, and great service throughout
The front desk staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean and it was a fantastic location. I booked here at the last minute and it was great.
This is a well placed hotel mid way down Upper Street so excellent for Islington. I stayed 2 nights and had two rooms which were both excellent. one with a bath and one with a shower
The hotel is excellent and very centrally located. The rooms are extremely comfortable with mattresses and pillows that are superb.
Perfect reception, everything in order, great location, excellent service.
The hotel reception was very welcoming and the man at the desk was lovely. The room itself was very clean, however there were many signs of wear (around the doors and walls, on the taps and switches)
London, St Katharine's Way (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Nice hotel and awesome location. Also very good breakfast. Highly recommended in London
The hotel is perfectly located and easy to reach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes located nearby. The best view from the window is guaranteed no matter where your room is located: river or marina side.
Great location, right by Tower Bridge. The lobby service was good, and the self-check-in was very convenient. The only downside was that the breakfast selection wasn't very wide.
The location absolutely good and service was not so good i can say 3/5 and ambience was best.
It was a good experience for a solo traveler, especially recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the Tower Bridge scenery
The rooms are well-equipped, the environment is beautiful, and the transportation is convenient. The breakfast is very rich, and the front desk staff are very helpful. This is truly a top-tier hotel in London
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to many attractions, and the room was decent. However, check-in time is in the afternoon, so if you arrive early, you'll have to store your luggage first
The hotel's location is excellent. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's very close to the subway station. You can even walk to Trafalgar Square. The room includes complimentary water and is cleaned daily
The chocolate and Rituals toiletries in the room added to the sense of welcome which started at the front door Excellentlocation, so close to theatres, Galleries, Covent Garden and many restaurants
This is the best hotel I've stayed in for a LONG time, and I will most definitely be returning. The complimentary bottles of water and chocolate were a great touch
Room was spotless, water bottle recycling excellent, chocolate biscuits very appreciated. Room was hot so had to take sheet off duvet
The room is on the smaller side, but the location is excellent, perfect for a solo trip

Very happy with my stay—excellent, top-notch service.
As for my experience of this hotel the location is excellent and the rooms I have stayed in are good but the service is not good for cleaning the rooms
Location is excellent, very close to Oxford Street & all the shops & restaurants
Great location — just off Oxford Street and only a short 3-minute walk to Marble Arch Station, which made getting around so easy. My Queen Room was a comfortable size, though the view wasn’t much to look at
Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. The only downside was the lifts — they can be a bit slow during busy times. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay in central London!
selfridges, M&S, Primark and many more. a blonde lady was very sincere and kind to do a lot without asking. Hotel is a bit used with only one escalator going up and I pity those walk down the long stairs everyday
London, 18 Albert Embankment (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The view and location is great! The only thing that it could be better is the food. I ordered room service breakfast but the food seems to be too cold when it reaches to our room.
Perfect stay! Super comfy rooms, incredibly friendly and helpful staff and incredible views. Would love to stay again soon!
The room was really spacious, a big plus! The pool isn't huge, but it's perfect for adults to just relax, and it was great for the two kids to splash around in
I came here for a business conference. It was an excellent venue for the conference. The rooms were very nice but small (typical for Europe though)
The concierge was incredibly friendly and helpful, which definitely added to the positive experience
This is a nice hotel for a short trip at London especially during this Christmas time. It is very convenient to Soho for shopping, dinning and sightseeing
London, Wrights Ln, Kensington i Chelsi (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Fantastic stay. Great location, clean room, good facilities and even a little treat in our room for my husband’s birthday!
Great hotel at a convenient location, close to Hyde park and local amenities. Excellent for business travel.
Nice and festive vibes hotel location is good too, just next to the main st and train
The location is perfect, this is just underground station outside the hotel within 5 minutes walk, so convenient for us to walk around in london. However, the room is abit small but its expected since its LONDON righttt
Absolutely perfect reception service. They let me chick in was 1pm. Very flexible. And convenient. Kind warm .permission to late chick out at 1pm.
Pleasant experience in terms of location, safety of area and helpfulness of staff. Rooms are really small and tight
London, 1 Shortlands, Hammersmith (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very basic room, although the location is very good for London Olympia and the close the underground station. Breakfast buffet was excellent
The room was spacious, bright, and clean – very good! The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. Highly recommend!
Hotel rooms in the UK are generally small, but this room size was quite good. Even with the sofa bed open, there was still enough space to open luggage and move around. The hotel breakfast was typical English fare
As a price-sensitive customer, I chose this hotel because of the significantly higher prices for similar quality in the city center. Overall, I feel it was a very good choice
Nice Location, Near Tube Hammersmith and bus stop
Nice Service
Good
London, 12 Bedford Ave, Camden (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Decent hotel extended for a day to explore more of London. The extension gave me a breakfast included. The breakfast was well below average, limited options and the coffee was cheap
Very good location BUT the rooms are very small with a very small window and a very small double bed. The room stank of cigarettes and there was still paper in the toilet. We only got towels for one.
Throughout the stay, it was okey but the services for me a bit out, no etiquette and the attitude for me not so good
The location is great— it’s right next to Oxford Street, with plenty of shops and restaurants, and very convenient access to buses and the underground, all within walking distance. The room was clean and well-maintained
This hotel boasts an unbeatable location. It's directly accessible from London Heathrow Airport to the city center via the Elizabeth Line, and you'll find it right outside the tube station exit
If its included in the fee, have a try. If you want to add on a breakfast I would suggest thinking twice and trying the shops around the hotel for more variation and quality
London, 4-18 Harrington Gardens, Kensington i Chelsi, SW7 4LH London, Velikobritaniya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The service is best across the hotels I ever stayed, they are friendly and passionate and get things done in a very cool manner, especially Daniel and team when arrange the last minute taxi to the airport and it is James Bond feeling
Have stayed here before - good location close to tube and next door to a casino. Did not eat here so cannot comment on food. Room big enough with a good shower.
Enjoyed the 3 nights stay. Very good location and easy to get to shopping areas and place of interest as the Underground is just a short walk away on Picaldally line. Will return when I am back to visit London.
Excellent stay at Millennium Hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff were warm and helpful, and breakfast was delicious—great variety
I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past three years. I asked for Shattaf as usual but when rooms with Shattaf were fully booked (Christmas time), they upgraded my room at no charge at all
Hotel in a good location just a few step from Gloucester Road tube station. Housekeeping and Concierge are nice people. I would be back to this hotel again because of its location and concierge was helpful.
London, 179-199 Holland Park Avenue (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I do think they are doing everything they can to make stays as good as possible, since they can’t really do anything about the room sizes
Excellent location, near Westfield shopping mall and Shepherd Bush train station.
Very convenient location
very good location and nice staff
Minor point but the pillows and duvet didn’t feel like the usual Hilton ones, they seemed thicker…
Overall, it was clean, relatively quiet and had great service which is all that’s really needed, but it felt more of a budget hotel with Hilton price tag
Checked in to hilton 3 times this trip and was attended to by a Mr H**** at this hotel. Comparatively speaking, check in this time wasn't great. Didn't feel welcomed at all.
The air conditioning was on but it was weak. Thankfully the window opened slightly but it remained warm in the room. Bathroom was dated, quite small and felt cheap
The location is excellent, in a quiet and safe neighborhood, and it's super convenient for getting around, being just a four-minute walk from the metro station
Very good quality chain hotel, with amazing views from the rooftop bar
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, cozy, and felt very welcoming. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was nearby. Highly recommended!
The room was spotless, and breakfast was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly; a special shout-out to the front desk for the complimentary cookies! This truly is the best hotel I've stayed at in London
very very good experience. I love it so much. I am seriously love this hotel. It is perfect
The room facilities were pretty good, and it was cleaned daily
London, Waterview Drive, Greenwich Peninsula (9 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms need to be renovated to live up to the luxurous standards that most guests get experience from other interContinental Hotel locations around the globe- particularly in Asia
Strangely in the morning the shortcut to the O2 doesn't open til 10 am because the O2 isn't open until 10 am meaning you have to walk all the way round the O2 to get to the car parks, glad it wasn't raining!
Breakfast was very slow when ordering from the menu though, it only had 4 dishes yet 25 mins after ordering we had to cancel as we ran out of time to eat it before we had to leave
Booking a one-bedroom suite with kids was absolutely fantastic, especially with the sea view. The breakfast and pool were big hits with the little ones
The location and the breakfast buffet was the highlight. In terms of quality of the rooms to price ratio, it could be a lot better
Next time we have an event near the O2, we'll definitely book this place again
I recently stayed at the Hotel Plaza in Waterloo, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, though it definitely had its ups and downs. The Good:
The room itself was lovely—clean, well-maintained, and comfortable
I had a generally good stay and found the atmosphere of the hotel to be quite nice. If you are looking for a solid place to rest your head in a great location, this fits the bill
Final Verdict:
It was a good stay in terms of the physical room and environment, but the lack of communication and basic service was frustrating
The Not-So-Good:
However, the experience was let down by a significant lack of amenities and service
We stayed at Park Palaza Waterloo for three nights before Xmas, the overall experience of staying at this hotel was great, staff were welcoming and friendly, breakfast was great with variety of choices, room was spotless clean, only downside is the body lotion in the bathroom in our room was run out and had not been topped up during our stay
I love this hotel - very clean and spacious. Location was great too, right outside of the tube station.
London, 22 Park Lane, W1K 1BE (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Good location in london. Easy walk to Hyde Park and easy walk to shopping. Many good food and restaurants around here. Hotel staff very friendly. Will come back again
The pricing is relatively reasonable for the area, and the location is excellent. From a value-for-money perspective, it is still a workable option if budget and location are the main priorities
The property has a long history and, although it has been renovated, there were several comfort issues. The central air conditioning was extremely noisy, and the windows did not insulate well against the cold or wind
The room was positioned in a narrow gap in this buildings, meaning there was very little privacy — with the curtains open and lights on, it was easy to see into neighbouring rooms and vice versa
There also appeared to be an air deodorising device in the room, which produced a high-pitched mechanical sound and emitted a strong disinfectant-like smell that was quite unpleasant
The room felt slightly warmer only when the curtains were fully closed. A portable heater was provided, but the room was still cold unless the noisy air conditioning was left on
London, 1 Hamilton Place, Park Lane (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The facilities are a bit old, but the service is excellent and the hygiene is good.
Toilets are small, all hotels facility apart from gym is sublet out to 3rd party.
I wouldn’t stay here again for the price. Staff are friendly, but just better value elsewhere.
Great location tho.
excellent location, can walk to most of the tourist spots, also close to the underground so travel is not a problem.
Very helpful staff, good breakfast.
This is a great hotel with an excellent location, offering top-notch service and delicious breakfasts. However, the rooms are very small for a hotel of this caliber
Stayed at the hotel for one night attending a conference. My room was exceptionally clean and furnishings great quality. The bed was very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. Wish I could have stayed longer.
The room amenities, such as power outlets, charging stations, and other small details, feel outdated
London, 30 Portman Square (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
A good business hotel with good value for money.
Breakfast was very good and he staff excellent. Location perfect, room was very good. Although as a woman I would have liked a magnifying mirror to use for my make-up, not having to phone housekeeping to bring me one.
Really enjoyed our stay the staff were amazing. Couple of things the shower screen didn’t fit tight on the bath therefore water went all over the floor, no toilet brush, no water glasses only the ones in the bathroom
This hotel has the perfect location where I could easily access to the underground. Highly recommended for its good service and nice rooms
room service is good, the breakfast could be better.
Old hotel, good location, convenient for shopping nearby. The room facilities are a little old, but the exterior is OK. There is a Cantonese restaurant nearby, the taste is good, recommended.
And we also appreciated the room size which was much more spacious compared to other hotels in London - both of us could open our large size luggages with ample room!
Although the location is not in the center of tourist attractions, we appreciated that the area was abit more quiet and peaceful but still very convenient as only a short walk to the tube (west Brompton district line) which connected...
The lady from the front seat was very nice and helpful.
I had a pleasant experience at Ibis London Earls Court. The hotel offers good value for money, especially for London standards.
We have no good experience in this hotel, when we went to our room first night, find there was something broken on the ground and we told the staff next day for repairing, however until we leave four days later, nothing changed
Our stay here was a breath of fresh air after our experience in a shoebox hotel room in another hotel closer to London Kings Cross. The hotel has been recently renovated and now has a modern artsy interior
Facilities and interior of the rooms are very new and clean
