The STG Hotel is fantastically located and the lobby is well presented, but our room was very small and not particularly clean. In the corner of the room below the window there was a large damp-looking stain (see photo) on the carpet and the bathroom had signs of wear and tear. Decent hotel extended for a day to explore more of London. The extension gave me a breakfast included. The breakfast was well below average, limited options and the coffee was cheap. If its included in the fee, have a try. If you want to add on a breakfast I would suggest thinking twice and trying the shops around the hotel for more variation and quality.

They hotel lobby was great. But the room is old .and simple furniture.

The location is great— it’s right next to Oxford Street, with plenty of shops and restaurants, and very convenient access to buses and the underground, all within walking distance. The room was clean and well-maintained. The only minor downside is that it can be a bit noisy due to the busy street outside. Overall, I would still recommend this place for its location and convenience.

Everything was okey, the room a bit outdated but overall okey. However the heater didnt work and the remoate tv also didn’t work. Throughout the stay, it was okey but the services for me a bit out, no etiquette and the attitude for me not so good.

The facilities at this hotel are appalling. There was no air conditioning at all, and I was expected to rely on a single fan throughout the night—absolutely ridiculous for a modern hotel. Worse still, there was a severe security issue: the cleaning staff apparently took my room card while cleaning. The water pressure was very low, and I had to pump the shower gel dispenser many times to get enough out. The drain was also very slow. Soundproofing was terrible. We stayed at the Aldgate Premier Inn for two nights with our two children and had a fantastic experience. The room was spotless and perfect for our family, and the kids loved the view. I stayed here for one night on Tuesday 2nd December and wanted to give a shoutout to the incredible team. Overall was good stay for 4 nights. Simple and good varieties of breakfast ( incl for vegetarian). Close to Waterloo UG Station and Eye of London. Helpful front desk and restaurant staff. Booked the Hop Off Londoin Bus Golden Tour bus from the front desk and it is walking distance to the Eye of London and National Theatre.

Booked a Premium Room but was checked into a Standard Room before being rectified from the second night which hindered the hotel experience. Hotel breakfast was good and fitness room was okay. Close to the attractions such as Tower Bridge and The Eye.

Newly renovated and very clean, definitely worth trying.

Unfortunately our room’s window was completely taped under the construction and 2 out 3 lifts were out of service… Location is good and room is cozy enough. Bed is slightly smaller for two people though.

The room was in the basement with no windows. The rooms advertised online were showed windows. This meant the room was extremely stiff and warm. We found a cockroach in the bathroom which we reported to staff, no gesture was offered, only a quick apology. The location was great, however.

A standard chain hotel, comfortable and convenient. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was quiet and not noisy at all. The surrounding area felt very safe, and the location was great, making public transport very accessible.

Right next to King's Cross Station, making it incredibly convenient for catching trains. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The room felt a bit spacious, but the superb transport links definitely made up for it. Considering I had a suitcase to lug around, I quickly decided this was the hotel for me.

There's a slight issue with Ctrip's search function. We wanted to book a hotel near Victoria Station, but this one is located near Royal Victoria Station, which requires two subway changes to get to. That's £3.10 * 2 every day just for commuting!!!!!!

The hotel is located near Euston Station. Light sleepers might find it difficult to sleep at night due to the constant noise from motorcycles and police cars. The bedding is just average, and the bathroom is a decent size. However, there are no slippers provided.

The rooms were clean and it was close to the train station. However, the breakfast selection wasn't very diverse; we stayed for 4 nights and the food was the same every day.

For 2500 a night, the location is excellent, but the facilities are a bit dated, similar to a Hanting Hotel in China.

Unfortunately we arrived extremely late to check in 1.30am due to our flight delay and found the service to be very good, the room was clean and tidy but on the small side we did not eat there as all we wanted was our bed.

Truly blessed to have stayed here, especially after some unexpected incidents. We were able to enjoy some great offer rates at nearby restaurants. My partner felt secure throughout our stay. Plus, the location is super convenient, accessible to many places 😊

Staff was kind and courteous and the room, though small, existed as described and was a fine and relatively enjoyable stay with good adjustable air conditioning and a comfortable bed, an adequate shower and bathroom.

This hotel has great location, decent size clean room, but very few amenities in the room and the hotel. There is no fridge, no safe, no gym and no laundry room. So if you are looking for something simple, this hotel is good when the price is right.

I checked in at the Hampton Hotel on Friday night and had a fabulous stay. The hotel was very clean, and my room was spotless and comfortable. Clean simple bedroom. Parking is £15/day specific for hotel guests. There are a couple of EV charging ports but they were always blocked by cars that weren’t EV and we were also told they don’t work. Breakfast is crowded as it is complimentary but good - standard English breakfast. Close to Excel - about 8 mins walking.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed it as the hotel is closed to a metro, has parking and is clean with great reception staff. Our stay this time was also good but breakfast was a pain. We came down in a decent time but it was still really busy and a few of the food items had not been replenished. Very classic British hotel in Blackheath. Lovely location surrounded by greenery but easy to jump on transport to anywhere in London. The downside of the hotel is the rooms were hot. It was spring so not even summer. No aircon but we had a fan which didn’t do much.

I just live this traditional hotels, although some may say it is need to modernising, I feel its beautiful, along with the creaking floorboards. Traditional standards throughout, with really lovely staff.

Had a lovely stay at the Clarendon. We're not particularly that keen on London but, if we do have to go, we like to visit Blackheath and the location of The Clarendon is perfect. Staff are nice, breakfast is good and plentiful too and ye rooms are nice, comfy and clean.

Second time staying at this hotel. Fantastic location and service is great. There was an issue with our room being incorrectly allocated to start with, but the lady on reception sorted it straight away and found us 2 rooms opposite each other. Service was amazing, food was amazing, location was perfect, my only issue was the window would forcefully shut itself unless wedged open with something and there was nowhere to refrigerate drinks despite the insanely hot weather at the time of my stay, however my trip was amazing and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

We had a great stay here , the rooms are spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable . Breakfast was good value for money it was well cooked, presented , hot and well stocked . Maria was welcoming and helpful at breakfast and Jan was great fun in the evening in the bar and restaurant.

Nice budget hotel next to Aldgate East tube station, practical to move around the city. Rooms are cosy with all basic amenities required for your stay. Lobby is nice to have breakfast, a meal during the day or a drink, and practical to work as well. Great value for money.

We booked this hotel after searching for an ideal one for a very, very long time, and I am so glad we found it! Although the room was small and didn't have windows (both things were not a problem for us), it was very tidy and clean, and also had all of the amenities you could ask for (hairdryer, UK and EU plug, a USB entry, TV, a table and two chairs, three mirrors)! Very good for a short stay! We stayed two nights, and it is clean and cosy. Decorations and interior are fun, breakfast was good with a European variety to choose from. It’s a fair price for the service! The staff is very polite and supportive, I had a comfy room type, which had all the amenities as described. The shower has no handle that for me is quite uncomfortable! Good breakfast with a reasonable number of alternatives! If not included remember to book the breakfast in advance, otherwise if you choose to buy it on the spot in the morning, you will be overcharged

This is an excellent 3-star hotel. The beds are incredible, some rooms come with free breakfasts and it’s quiet! The rooms are surprisingly big - plenty of space, including places to hang clothes. The compact design means the frame of the bed has the tv at the bottom, plugs for chargers etc and glass holders, plus all the light switches (a feature I love - turning lights off after you’re in!)! ...

Air con was broken in the room. Therefore very hot and got no sleep. Was sweating and very uncomfortable. Most horrible nights sleep. Stuck on 24 degrees although needed to be 17.

Nice room, nice leds… I think we got the room for handicaps but it was bigger in return, I messaged the hotel several times for booking doubled beds since I was going with a colleague but it wasn’t possible. Luckily enough beds were comfortable and didn’t transposed movements much.

Very nice stay. The room is very clean with bathtub. Good that all room with bathtub. The bed is very comfortable. Just 3 min to tube , very convenience. A lot of convenience shop nearby. There is a Japanese’s restaurant nearby, taste was so far so good. The manager is very helpful and finally i got free parking.

The rooms aren’t cleaned every day! Not clear the rubbish bins! Not change the towels! If they can change this normal practice , the staff members actively change the towels and clean the rooms every morning , their service will be perfect and impeccable. Drive for one hour! An ok experience, everything was very basic and just satisfactory. The rooms are not that big and equipped with just the bare necessities. The hot water in our sink basin didn’t work at night but was ok in the morning. Carpet in room had stain marks and so did the walls. Hotel location near to underground station so it is very convenient. Breakfast is ok and taste good. However the sound insulation is quite poor, you are going to hear what people is doing at the next door.
