I booked this hotel for New Year's Eve, and the room had a beautiful view of the fireworks 🎆. The location is excellent; as soon as you step out, you can see Big Ben~
One side stocked with items for purchase the other empty allowing u to store essentials like beer
The room's location is excellent, and the view is great.
One of my favourite hotels in London. Brilliant location for Big Ben, London eye etc. great room and facilities like gym and pool. Great stay
The facilities are a bit dated, but the room itself was very large and spacious. The hotel breakfast was also quite good. Mobile self-check-in is available, so you don't need to go to the front desk
Also, make sure to lock your door securely and consider propping something against it, as someone tried to open my door by pulling the handle past 5 AM, which was quite alarming
The view left a lot to be desired, but to be honest, we weren't there to sit and look out the window! The room was small, but it didn't cause issues at all and had everything you'd expect/need from a hotel
The location is fantastic, with the Angel Light right outside the window. They even have thoughtful touches like complimentary water bottle refills available at the elevator.
Great hotel in an unbeatable central location. Clean, comfortable rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Strand Palace.
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to many attractions, and the room was decent. However, check-in time is in the afternoon, so if you arrive early, you'll have to store your luggage first
The breakfast the next morning was brilliant with a wide choice of food options. The hotel is situated within walking distance to Covent Garden and Leicester Square, which was perfect for us
Also, we had booked a twin room, but the hotel kept trying to give us a single room. We had to decline multiple times before they finally gave up
London, 18 Albert Embankment (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The view and location is great! The only thing that it could be better is the food. I ordered room service breakfast but the food seems to be too cold when it reaches to our room.
Perfect stay! Super comfy rooms, incredibly friendly and helpful staff and incredible views. Would love to stay again soon!
The room was really spacious, a big plus! The pool isn't huge, but it's perfect for adults to just relax, and it was great for the two kids to splash around in
I came here for a business conference. It was an excellent venue for the conference. The rooms were very nice but small (typical for Europe though)
The concierge was incredibly friendly and helpful, which definitely added to the positive experience
This is a nice hotel for a short trip at London especially during this Christmas time. It is very convenient to Soho for shopping, dinning and sightseeing
London, 12 Bedford Ave, Camden (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel boasts an unbeatable location. It's directly accessible from London Heathrow Airport to the city center via the Elizabeth Line, and you'll find it right outside the tube station exit
Decent hotel extended for a day to explore more of London. The extension gave me a breakfast included. The breakfast was well below average, limited options and the coffee was cheap
The location is great— it’s right next to Oxford Street, with plenty of shops and restaurants, and very convenient access to buses and the underground, all within walking distance. The room was clean and well-maintained
If its included in the fee, have a try. If you want to add on a breakfast I would suggest thinking twice and trying the shops around the hotel for more variation and quality
The only minor downside is that it can be a bit noisy due to the busy street outside. Overall, I would still recommend this place for its location and convenience
Stayed here every time I’ve come to London. Such a lovely hotel, lovely stuff and perfect location. 10/10 recommend.
Was an issue at check in with my reservation which they finally sorted after an hour. Perfect location right opposite Lambeth North station as well. Breakfast could have been better with more variety for a 4 star hotel
For a hotel of this caliber, I was surprised by a few things:
• In-room essentials: There was no shower gel provided, and the tea/coffee station was very sparse (there was barely any sugar)
Nice and enjoyable experience. Would recommend to friends if they visit London
• Missing extras: There were no gowns or slippers (sliders) available, which took away from the "hotel feel. "
• Communication issues: This was the biggest drawback
I tried calling both room service and the front desk but received no response. I ended up being on hold for about 45 minutes without anyone picking up
Final Verdict:
It was a good stay in terms of the physical room and environment, but the lack of communication and basic service was frustrating
London, 22 Park Lane, W1K 1BE (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The property has a long history and, although it has been renovated, there were several comfort issues. The central air conditioning was extremely noisy, and the windows did not insulate well against the cold or wind
The hotel is very close to the Jubilee Line (grey line), and several bus lines stop right outside, offering convenient routes to Victoria Station, from where you can catch a direct train to Gatwick Airport
Good location in london. Easy walk to Hyde Park and easy walk to shopping. Many good food and restaurants around here. Hotel staff very friendly. Will come back again
It's also quite close to other famous attractions like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. Other than the price being a bit high, everything else was perfect
An absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel room was spotless, and the service was warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was especially generous
The hotel is conveniently located right at Hyde Park Corner, with Buckingham Palace and Harrods both about a 15-minute walk away
London, 1 Hamilton Place, Park Lane (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Stayed at the hotel for one night attending a conference. My room was exceptionally clean and furnishings great quality. The bed was very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. Wish I could have stayed longer.
This is a great hotel with an excellent location, offering top-notch service and delicious breakfasts. However, the rooms are very small for a hotel of this caliber
A fairly standard hotel, but it wins on its excellent location and convenient transportation. The West End is also quite quiet and safe.
Great location, high-end, definitely recommended.
I was informed at the front desk that my single room, booked through an agent, had been cancelled. I had to rebook another room on Trip. com on the spot, which was more expensive than what I had originally paid
The room amenities, such as power outlets, charging stations, and other small details, feel outdated
London, 30 John Islip Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's overall decor was really nice, but the room was still so small! London's prices are just incredibly high – it's a city where every square inch costs a fortune. There was absolutely no value for money
Great location, close to the London Eye and Big Ben. There's also a small supermarket and a good Korean restaurant nearby. The hotel is generally clean and tidy, though the hallways are a bit narrow
1) didnt know how to drain the sink completely of water 2) the gym is meh but the view makes up for it! Mostly cardio-oriented like most hotel gyms but is above average for a typical hotel gym i would say
Everything else is pretty good, and toothbrushes are provided too
All their rooms are basically the same, very good design well thought out with the user at the heart. I would genuinely happily live in an apartment of a similiar size as the design is so clever
There's a water dispenser in the hotel hallway, which is convenient for getting water, and a supermarket a few hundred meters away where you can buy daily necessities and bottled water. The surrounding area is quiet
London, Stratton Street, Mayfair (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We enjoyed breakfast in bed with an impressive variety of options, truly spoiled for choice. The entire experience was elegant, comfortable, and beautifully luxurious. I would definitely recommend it
In both stays, they seemed less engaged compared to what you’d typically expect from concierge teams — not very proactive and sometimes not particularly welcoming
Everything is perfect, looking forward back again
The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of central London, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure
The food was divine, the service and organisation were flawless and the private dining room amazing. Lavinia’s attention to detail and professionalism were remarkable, every element was handled with precision and care
The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail in the furnishings and amenities really stood out, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere

It was my birthday as well, the hotel surprised me with this sweet gifts. The location is perfect for visiting everywhere not only in London but also suburbs. The staff members were also supportive and kind
However, when we stored our luggage, one of our suitcases got damaged and cracked. We didn’t notice it until we were already on the way to the airport. It was probably just an accident, but still a bit unfortunate
Great location, right by Waterloo Station and close to the London Eye. We stayed in a room with a view, and you could see the London Eye right from the bed. The room itself was also quite spacious.
The view from the hotel was really beautiful. But the window glass was a cloudy, so photos didn’t come out very nice… but everything else was perfect. The room was cleaned every day and kept tidy
So we definitely would like to stay this hotel again when we come back to London. Thank you so much for making our trip much more memorable with providing this cozy and relaxing space
The room they eventually gave us was the worst London Eye view room possible (as pictured, my view was significantly obstructed by the building on the right)
Had room with a view of the river which was great! Very easy to get to the Underground and easy access to waking areas. While I was there the showers were extremely loud. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5
Had a great time at the hotel and the view was amazing and good customer service very helpful staff
Well located, beautifully designed in and out but city view they said was a building view blocked by huge walls and stairs
Loved my stay. Great location, great room with a spacious patio, best shower ever, and very friendly, efficient staff.
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, nice bar, amazing location
Few amenities for the price of this hotel. But it's a good base for exploring London.
London, 38 Leicester Square, Westminster (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The bathroom was decent, but the room itself was incredibly small, though understandable given the prime location. The front desk, housekeeping, and concierge staff were all very warm and attentive
Very modern but luxurious style and, I was impressed by the number of art pieces dotted around!
One of the highlights was a very relaxing evening in the Residence bar, it felt very intimate and kind of magical :)
The breakfast was lovely too
The service was excellent! They even gave us a free upgrade since it was our first time staying at their hotel. The location and surrounding area are great too!
Plus, there are tons of great food options, coffee shops, accessory stores, bubble tea shops, supermarkets, and more – everything you could possibly need! The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming
The gym and pool facilities were a real highlight: modern, spotless, and ideal for unwinding after a busy day in London. The rooms were stylish and modern with a luxe-but-comfy vibe that made it hard to leave
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right in the heart of London, next to Chinatown. You can hop on a bus right outside, and a black cab stand is just 100 meters away
London, 101 Buckingham Palace Road (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Breakfast was great!! Loved staying here as it is very closely located to several tourist attractions in downtown London and in close proximity to some out of this world historic pubs
Great place to stay. Breakfast also really good
From the warm and efficient check-in at the front desk to the delightful surprise upon entering our room – spotless floors, fresh-smelling linens, and new tea bags thoughtfully placed on the small tea table by the window – every detail was incredibly touching
Hotel's location was the most important to me and it is very central with public transportation within minutes from hotel
These past few days, we've felt as comfortable and at ease as if we were at home. You can feel the thoughtfulness in every aspect. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and choose it again for my next visit
There's an entrance on the first floor that leads directly down to the train and subway stations, which is super handy. There are supermarkets and shopping malls nearby, and if you walk further, you reach Sloan Square
The room was spacious and clean, the front desk staff had a good attitude, and the bar downstairs was pretty great.
Most importantly, the room had no soundproofing—I could clearly hear conversations and even the water heater from the adjacent room. The overall experience was poor, although the hotel's location is good
One of the best hotels in London
The room was incredibly small; once the luggage was in, there was barely any space left to move around. The welcome experience was non-existent, and the separate restaurant had no staff in the morning
When running hot water, the room made a sharp, screeching noise. At night, the room temperature was too high, and the air conditioning was very loud
Guests’ needs for the sauna or steam room later in the evening clearly did not seem to be a priority. Overall, the hotel felt completely unwelcoming, with very formal service and a noticeable lack of customer orientation
London, 2 Caxton St, Westminster (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The moment you step in, you feel like family, excellent service throughout, from the afternoon to, to the Caxton grill for dinner or drinks, and of course being welcomed by the reception and staff at the doors
We had a really great 3 night stay at St Ermin’s. Beautiful historic place in a great part of town. 5 minutes to parks, close to palace and even closer to Big Bend and river
The pictures speak for itself how beautiful the hotel is and I always love taking photos there. Really is a hidden gem in London
I always love visiting st Ermins and even if you’re not staying at the hotel, it’s worth a visit for a drink or afternoon tea
We had a great meal at the pub too and service was excellent. Room was comfortable and well serviced. Interesting historical points in lobby from WW2. Lovely unique entrance for a city hotel!
One of the managers, Nahid, who is routinely at breakfast is always happy to chat and offer suggestions of what to do, where to go, and great tips to make it a smooth trip. We also did afternoon tea and had so much fun
This is my second time staying here. I also stayed in London in 2019. The most important thing is the location. It is absolutely central to Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. The lobby is hard to describe
The hotel is in an extremely convenient location, and the rooms and services are great! The only surprise was that when I checked out, I found that the hotel charged an extra room cleaning fee of more than 12 pounds per day
It is inconvenient to push a stroller, there are stairs, and there are no convenient facilities. When someone is around, the service is pretty good. When someone is away, I can do it myself for half a day
The hotel is very historical, but not old. The rooms and corridors are very spacious. The rooms are well soundproofed and quiet. The service staff are very enthusiastic. I will stay here again next time
We have been very glad about our stay at the hotel. Cleaning which is important for me was good. Also, we could reach everywhere we planned to see very easily. Checi in & out was very quickly handled
Love everything about this hotel. From the moment we arrive we feel at home. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Restaurant for breakfast is very busy
My only disappointment was that the lobby bar area was closed due to renovations, so it restricted areas to relax around the hotel, but very much looking forward to seeing the upgrades
Lovely breakfast more like brunch. Rooms are large and well appointed. Some communal areas needs a refresh. Small but nice spa facilities. Liked the bottled milk in tea/ coffee tray
This was our second visit to this hotel and we would return. The service, staff, location, food are excellent. The hotel is beautiful and we were very happy with our room
Room was beautiful, we got upgraded to a bigger one and the service was amazing. Value for the price, will book again when I’m in London.
There’s a good selection of hot and cold and again the staff are always ensuring you have everything you need
We won’t consider anywhere else to have afternoon tea when we come back to London. You have us hooked! Thank you
Fantastic hotel - superior room was spacious and clean. Spa is the best in London and can’t wait to come back
One thing to mention is that you get charged 5% discretionary room charge without much explanation on checkout - surprised given how expensive the hotel is
Probably the best afternoon tea we've ever had. Delicious finger sandwiches made with different types of bread, exquisite patisserie and wonderful service
Also a little disappointed to have been chased to checkout 30 mins before checkout time
Since this was a birthday celebration for my daughter they presented her with a cake and candle
Fabulous location. The staff were helpful and efficient. Pervus was amazing and helped us with our luggage quickly. His timing was impeccable. The room was perfect with lots of extra amenities.
What a welcoming hotel. Staff were attentive, beautiful room, great location. Perfect stay
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location with fantastic views over the Thames. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a nice relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel
Had a lovely time. Hotel was excellent. Service brilliant. Couldn’t fault it. Would definitely stay again.
Only negative is the noise from the traffic was quite loud even though we were on floor 7! Woke us up a couple of times but the comfy bed and dark room meant that we found it easy yo go back to sleep quickly
We booked a deluxe twin room, and the bathroom didn't have a separate shower stall; showering in the bathtub felt a bit cramped, so be careful. Also, the shower water easily splashed out and made the bathroom floor wet
Staff were very friendly, bed was very comfy and as the room was a birthday gift the hotel kindly decorated the room with celebratory bunting on their own accord - a very welcome gift
Freezing winter n no heating in room n was told that its centralised heating. Was given one small portable heater for quite big room with 4 of us when informed front desk that room is cold
On the second night spoke to front desk and they advised to turn all air con/heating off and brought us a fan up so the second night slept like a baby in very comfortable beds
Amazing location, amazing service. It was my birthday and the room was decorated beautifully with complimentary drink and chocolate. Could not have asked for more
The pool area was beautiful but u fortunately we ran out of time but when we have another stay at the beautiful hotel we will certainly visit it
The only negative was the room was extremely hot which made is very uncomfortable to sleep
