London, 225 Edgware Road (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Great location. Great service. Rooms very comfortable however bathrooms are very outdated.
good facilities, and friendly service. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.
The location is excellent and its within 20mins to touristy spots etc
The London Metropole Hotel exceeded my expectations during my recent stay. The location is excellent, situated near major attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the city
I think if it’s not for the good location and the luggage service at the concierge, I think the stay would have been more awful
The staff were warm and welcoming, providing exceptional service from check-in to check-out. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with modern amenities, offering a comfortable retreat after a busy day
London, 1 Great Cumberland Place, W1H 7DL (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I absolutely loved the room that we got. It was in 6th floor, it was a bit tricky to find the room but once i remembered where it's located it got easier
The staff was very welcoming on the day of, the room was cleaned daily. Room was spacious for a weekend vacation as you can see from the bathroom
I paid a higher price for my booking. On Monday, March 23, 2026, in the morning, I went to request a room change, and the reception told me to pack my bags and leave them there, and to pick up the key card in the evening
After a while, reception called room 2084 to say the door was fixed, but when I tried to open room 2085, it still wouldn't open. I had to go down to reception a third time. Importantly, they never answered the phone
After an hour and a half, we still couldn't get into our room, and my wife started getting frustrated. Finally, reception told me to move from room 2085 to room 2069. I felt room 2069 was smaller than room 2085
I was unhappy that the receptionist who handled my request in the morning didn't inform the system that room 2069 needed to be changed, and that upon my return, they could simply hand me the new key card
London, 53 Upper Street (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The front desk staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean and it was a fantastic location. I booked here at the last minute and it was great.
Especially, I enjoyed the friendly service of Kyuhee Han. She took care of us with a bright smile throughout our breakfast. It was a hotel full of good memories
There was nothing negative to say here, everything was wonderful ranging from check-in to how clean the room was.
Good experience, ideal location situated next to the Business Design Centre. Service and staff all very friendly, nice breakfast.
This is unacceptable for an establishment that should prioritize customer satisfaction. Given the disruption to our night and our trust in your brand, the 20% discount offered is highly inadequate
Front of house staff were great. Small bar and TV room in reception
Served By Sifou upon check-in. he was extremely helpful.
The location is good, transportation easily accessible.
Nice location, under 1 min away from High Street Kensington station. The reception and lobby outstanding. Room outdated , furniture and bed, pillows very basic, dated. Air con very old, noisy and not efficient
The location of this hotel is acceptable, but the service is extremely poor. I opted for and paid for the breakfast when booking the hotel, yet the front desk staff told me I had to pay extra for it again during check-in
Great hotel to stay in for being very close in central London easy to get too great price and overall amazing stay
Very nice hotel and good location, close to the bus and metro station. Many restaurants around and also many shops. The staff was particularly nice, we could even make our check-in before 12
London, St Katharine's Way (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms aren’t cheap, but the location is fantastic! You are right outside the Tower of London and there’s a tube station round the corner
Great stay, room with a view was excellant, large bed and tv, clean and tidy. Cocktails in the bar was a highlight, as sat over looking the bridge was stunning, cosy and relaxing. Highly recommend this hotel
The hotel is perfectly located and easy to reach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes located nearby. The best view from the window is guaranteed no matter where your room is located: river or marina side.
Great location, right by Tower Bridge. The lobby service was good, and the self-check-in was very convenient. The only downside was that the breakfast selection wasn't very wide.
Great location in District 1, very convenient and only a 10-minute walk to the subway station. The room was a bit small, though.
Nice hotel and awesome location. Also very good breakfast. Highly recommended in London
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to many attractions, and the room was decent. However, check-in time is in the afternoon, so if you arrive early, you'll have to store your luggage first
The hotel's location is excellent. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's very close to the subway station. You can even walk to Trafalgar Square. The room includes complimentary water and is cleaned daily
The chocolate and Rituals toiletries in the room added to the sense of welcome which started at the front door Excellentlocation, so close to theatres, Galleries, Covent Garden and many restaurants
Great hotel in an unbeatable central location. Clean, comfortable rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Strand Palace.
The location is fantastic, with the Angel Light right outside the window. They even have thoughtful touches like complimentary water bottle refills available at the elevator.
Amazing hotel. Lovely rooms and facilities. Perfect location. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Would recommend to others. Will stay again. 10/10.
London, Bryanston St, Marylebone (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location in central London everything is close by.
Excellent service and quality of the hotel. Spectacular location. Beautiful area. Impeccable breakfast and rooms. Highly recommended.
They need to replace the carpet and fix the glass beside the bath tub which is a big hazard for anyone but the whole bed space was perfect for families with multiple children
Rooms are big and spacious, cleanliness can be improved. Overall hotel is abit old. With certain times some odd smell. Location was great with many restaurants and cafe nearby.
Great location — just off Oxford Street and only a short 3-minute walk to Marble Arch Station, which made getting around so easy. My Queen Room was a comfortable size, though the view wasn’t much to look at
Need to wait for a long time, particularly during the check-out time. The TV programmes are unstable. Not many choices for the channels. However, the location of the hotel is excellent, convenient for transport
London, 1 Shortlands, Hammersmith (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
However, it's right next to Hammersmith, a major tube and bus hub, making getting around very convenient. Because of its location, the price is also more attractive compared to hotels in the core area
The hotel's location is a bit west of the city center, taking about half an hour to reach Big Ben and the main train stations
Nice Location, Near Tube Hammersmith and bus stop
Nice Service
Good
Great location, with two subway lines nearby making it convenient to get to the airport. There are also restaurants and a supermarket in the vicinity. The decor is a bit dated and the maintenance is just average
Since this was our last stop and we'd been eating English breakfast for over ten days, we weren't particularly excited by it. Although the variety was the same, the quality of the breakfast at this hotel was very high
Hotel rooms in the UK are generally small, but this room size was quite good. Even with the sofa bed open, there was still enough space to open luggage and move around. The hotel breakfast was typical English fare
London, 4-18 Harrington Gardens (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Fantastic location. Very clean and really
Close to tube. Would definitely stay there again
Have stayed here before - good location close to tube and next door to a casino. Did not eat here so cannot comment on food. Room big enough with a good shower.
The location is perfect to our getting around to tourist spots. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Overall it is a great place to stay in London
Hotel in a good location just a few step from Gloucester Road tube station. Housekeeping and Concierge are nice people. I would be back to this hotel again because of its location and concierge was helpful.
The location of the hotel is great, even when during the tube strike. I walked almost everywhere. It’s just a bit dated.
Outdated rooms that didn’t smell that fresh. Noisy air conditioning system that even when turned off made strange noises periodically. Location was close to the tube which was handy. Midday check out was a bonus.
London, 179-199 Holland Park Avenue (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
very good location and nice staff
Minor point but the pillows and duvet didn’t feel like the usual Hilton ones, they seemed thicker…
Overall, it was clean, relatively quiet and had great service which is all that’s really needed, but it felt more of a budget hotel with Hilton price tag
Excellent location, near Westfield shopping mall and Shepherd Bush train station.
Very convenient location
Checked in to hilton 3 times this trip and was attended to by a Mr H**** at this hotel. Comparatively speaking, check in this time wasn't great. Didn't feel welcomed at all.
The air conditioning was on but it was weak. Thankfully the window opened slightly but it remained warm in the room. Bathroom was dated, quite small and felt cheap
I do think they are doing everything they can to make stays as good as possible, since they can’t really do anything about the room sizes
The hotel's location is superb; you can walk to Tower Bridge right outside, and it's incredibly convenient to get to the subway station and the river for boat rides. It's about an hour by subway to Heathrow Airport
Excellent! I'd definitely come back next time! The hotel's location is great and feels very safe. The breakfast was really good (much better than English breakfast!), and all the staff were super friendly
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, cozy, and felt very welcoming. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was nearby. Highly recommended!
The location is excellent, in a quiet and safe neighborhood, and it's super convenient for getting around, being just a four-minute walk from the metro station
I absolutely loved their cookies; I left in such a rush that I forgot to ask for more. We booked an executive room, which gave us access to the executive lounge on the ground floor – it was great for snacks and drinks
The service was great, the environment was lovely, and they even offered complimentary snacks. Superb!
London, Waterview Drive, Greenwich Peninsula (9 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms need to be renovated to live up to the luxurous standards that most guests get experience from other interContinental Hotel locations around the globe- particularly in Asia
The location and the breakfast buffet was the highlight. In terms of quality of the rooms to price ratio, it could be a lot better
Strangely in the morning the shortcut to the O2 doesn't open til 10 am because the O2 isn't open until 10 am meaning you have to walk all the way round the O2 to get to the car parks, glad it wasn't raining!
Breakfast was very slow when ordering from the menu though, it only had 4 dishes yet 25 mins after ordering we had to cancel as we ran out of time to eat it before we had to leave
Booking a one-bedroom suite with kids was absolutely fantastic, especially with the sea view. The breakfast and pool were big hits with the little ones
Next time we have an event near the O2, we'll definitely book this place again
And we also appreciated the room size which was much more spacious compared to other hotels in London - both of us could open our large size luggages with ample room!
Although the location is not in the center of tourist attractions, we appreciated that the area was abit more quiet and peaceful but still very convenient as only a short walk to the tube (west Brompton district line) which connected...
The lady from the front seat was very nice and helpful.
The hotel is newly refurbished. Clean and modern. Location is near tube station. Not much security. Can just walk in and access hotel floors. Bare essentials. No bedroom slippers, tissues, etc.
That said, the room was more spacious compared to other accommodations in London, and the hotel is conveniently located near a subway station
Our stay here was a breath of fresh air after our experience in a shoebox hotel room in another hotel closer to London Kings Cross. The hotel has been recently renovated and now has a modern artsy interior
Facilities and interior of the rooms are very new and clean
I love this hotel - very clean and spacious. Location was great too, right outside of the tube station.
• Missing extras: There were no gowns or slippers (sliders) available, which took away from the "hotel feel. "
• Communication issues: This was the biggest drawback
Final Verdict:
It was a good stay in terms of the physical room and environment, but the lack of communication and basic service was frustrating
Nice and enjoyable experience. Would recommend to friends if they visit London
For a hotel of this caliber, I was surprised by a few things:
• In-room essentials: There was no shower gel provided, and the tea/coffee station was very sparse (there was barely any sugar)
I tried calling both room service and the front desk but received no response. I ended up being on hold for about 45 minutes without anyone picking up
London, 22 Park Lane, W1K 1BE (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Good location in london. Easy walk to Hyde Park and easy walk to shopping. Many good food and restaurants around here. Hotel staff very friendly. Will come back again
The property has a long history and, although it has been renovated, there were several comfort issues. The central air conditioning was extremely noisy, and the windows did not insulate well against the cold or wind
The room felt slightly warmer only when the curtains were fully closed. A portable heater was provided, but the room was still cold unless the noisy air conditioning was left on
There also appeared to be an air deodorising device in the room, which produced a high-pitched mechanical sound and emitted a strong disinfectant-like smell that was quite unpleasant
My stay from 31 December to 3 January was unfortunately not a very pleasant one. I had hoped to enjoy a nice New Year’s break at the hotel
I contacted the hotel within a few hours, but it could not be located despite several follow-ups. As it was white and left on the bed, it may have been overlooked during housekeeping
London, Lancaster Terrace (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was small, but this is London! The location is fantastic, right next to Hyde Park
James' Court, A Taj Hotel, remains one of London's most elegant retreats. The location is truly second to none—footsteps from Buckingham Palace and the serenity of St
Amazing hotel with good location and superb services definitely coming back to it
I went to London during the Spring Festival holiday and stayed at this hotel for 12 days. During that time, I got warm - hearted service from Mia, a girl from Hong Kong, and there was also a girl from Malaysia
We had a slight issue with the smell of smoke in the room on arrival, but another room was sorted out very quickly,
Great service from the front desk, and a small cake in the room to celebrate our birthdays
They were both very attentive. Everyone at the hotel is super friendly. The triple - room is quite spacious and clean. There's a heated rack in the bathroom that can meet your need to dry clothes
London, Stratton Street, Mayfair (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We enjoyed breakfast in bed with an impressive variety of options, truly spoiled for choice. The entire experience was elegant, comfortable, and beautifully luxurious. I would definitely recommend it
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The room service was outstanding — fast, professional, and always delivered with a smile
Everything is perfect, looking forward back again
The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of central London, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure
It’s rare to find a hotel that combines a prime location, comfort, excellent facilities, and such a high level of genuine service. The May Fair truly delivers on all fronts
The food was divine, the service and organisation were flawless and the private dining room amazing. Lavinia’s attention to detail and professionalism were remarkable, every element was handled with precision and care
London, 10 Godliman Street (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
AMAZING STAY! WOULD BOOK AGAIN AND RECOMMEND. Came with family for a birthday weekend trip. Location is excellent- basically in the heart of London with breathtaking views of St Paul’s Cathedral
After taking the Gatwick train into the city, it's about a 7-8 minute walk to the hotel. Paul's Cathedral is right outside the door, and there are plenty of dining options nearby
You can even pre-order from Five Guys and eat there. The prices fluctuate quite a bit, but if you catch a good deal, it offers decent value for money
The rooms were very spacious with the BEST shower! There is even a hair dryer and iron provided in the rooms. Spa facilities was amazing- lovely sauna, steam room and jacuzzi
The breakfast had a variety - very accommodating to those who have dietary requirements/ need veggie options. Staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating
It’s was convenient as I was on a work trip. Staff was welcoming and the whole experience was great. Room was clean which is always a plus
London, 1 Kings Cross Road (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the British Museum, and public transport is convenient, making it easy to get to all the attractions. There are also many restaurants nearby, so dining is very convenient
Lcation is ok, about 10mins walk to the nearest Farrington underground station. Convenient store is just across the road from the hotel, which is very helpful should you need some last minute stuff
The hotel's location is good, but the facilities are a bit old and not very new. Breakfast is decent, a typical English breakfast
Overall, my stay was very satisfactory. The staff were warm and friendly, and daily housekeeping ensured our room was always clean. The breakfast quality was excellent, and the dining atmosphere was very pleasant
Excellent! Clean and tidy. Just a few minutes' walk to the bus stop 🚏. The staff are very kind, especially helpful and welcoming. For London, this hotel offers decent value for money. Recommended!
Even during peak tourist season, with a high number of guests, the hotel's ability to manage and serve everyone was truly commendable
London, 2, 24 Kensington High St, Kensington and Chelsea (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Had a great stay, came back to London after a tour around the UK and checked in again. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, and the Royal Albert Hall
Had a fantastic stay here! The hotel was super clean, and the service was excellent. I really enjoyed the view from my window. Plus, the location is incredibly convenient, right next to a bus stop
Everything was perfect and everyone was professional thank you for everything .. thank you Moaz ✨✨✨
I'll definitely be booking this hotel again next time
com was the best option among all booking platforms
Sr is great and the staff there are very nice. The regular twin room is smaller than the higher level garden view rooms but in my opinion they are much better. Overall it was a good experience and I would return
