La Quinta by Wyndham NW Marana Hotel

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. It is possibility to use swimming pool and fitness room.
Newish, well kept facility with very helpful front desk person.
Staff was amazing. Rene did a great job making us feel like home. Rooms were clean and breakfast was great!
I travel for work and stay at many hotels. I just need clean, WiFi, and essential items. This hotel is clean, great staff, good location. They did a weird lighting remodel that I never use. But they provide next to nothing for essentials. One small bar of soap (which is used at the sink, then you have to remember to bring it into the shower, which usually results in water puddles as you exit shower...
This is truly a great place to stay! The front desk staff is very friendly. The rooms are nice looking and very clean. I really liked the optional colorful lighting in the room and shower. Complimentsry breakfast every morning is really yummy and the breakfast area is squeaky clean. Parking lot is well-lit although they are currently undergoing construction so overnight parking is very limited for...
What a fantastic experience from check in to check out! Javier & crew were full of personality & genuine about their guests having the best stay possible. Rooms was clean, cozy & the various lighting options was a cool little touch, instead of the usual blaring bright lights. Would absolutely suggest anyone rest their head at this La Quinta location!

Comfortable room with all the necessities working fine. Great management and staff, very friendly and helpful. (They even recommended the local opera company- wonderful rendition of Debussy's "L'Enfant Prodigue"!) Well located for U of Arizona and the rest of central Tucson. Standard, cold, breakfast- but generously served.
Very well-priced considering other accomodations in the area.
Property and room were well maintained and clean. Parking lot was well lit. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was under 15 minutes to walk to a streetcar stop. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in Tucson!
The room was very clean, smelled good, and quiet, despite being next to a very busy street. The staff at the front desk were cheerful and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, especially if I have work to do at the University.
Clean room, comfy bed, breakfast provided which was not mentioned in the features. We liked our stay. The traffic can be a bit noisy, so bring earplugs if you need that.
Owner was very pleasant. When I arrived, the power for that block had just gone out. He let me know when power was restored. His staff was very friendly as well.
The rooms at the property were nicely designed, and the bed and blankets were super comfortable. Easy walk to the university area, as well as the Warehouse Arts district (approx .75 miles each)

The staff was fine and the room was great. Be aware that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. After a long day of driving, I'm wiling to pay more to eat at the hotel to avoid getting back in the car. Otherwise. I would have given five stars. Had I known, I would have stayed elsewhere.
We've stayed there for over a decade but recently remodeled new pipes hottest water best bed clean room patio bar breakfast who could ask for more and I think it was 70 bucks a night for God sake's
Overall stay was average no complaint but nothing to rave about either. Hotel is aged and could use updates but no complaints.
Hotel was good. Started setting up for an event to early in the mornings making a lot of noise with no respect for guests sleeping.
Everything was fine as a place to stay during Tour. Staff were excellent and understanding about our pets.
Great hotel, great bed great breakfast easy on and off the freeway and the staff was very nice and friendly

First of all, we did have doubts about this location from the previous reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are very nice. The A/C works great!!! The service at the front desk was awesome! The breakfast is simple. We would definitely stay at this location for our southern Arizona activities.
Front desknwas very friendly. Only good part of this, he deserves good pay, I hope he's getting it. The rooms were terrible. There was a huge wetsuit, like 2x2 that soaked our soaks. Lovely right? Who doesn't love that after a fresh shower and fresh pair of socks after driving 2300 miles. Lol the pool was freezing, which maybe is normal for April, but the place we stayed the day before and after was...
I had heard this was a bad no star hotel. The new staff/owners have really cleaned this hotel up. The pool Is great, although the hot tub was dirty and no chairs to sit on. No sketchy people hanging out or inside. The front desk guy was friendly. No bed bugs or cockroaches. Sure it needs to be updated but they are doing that. It's a work in progress. I will definitely come back.
Not for those faint of heart. The building is old and the owners are struggling to maintain. We saw a few roaches, didn’t find bed bugs. It’s pretty shady outside at night. And all the furniture is outdated or falling apart.
However, we have stayed here twice.
The people have always been friendly, pool was working this last time, we had some issues and the staff took care of us. No one bugged us. If...
The desk doesn't know what rooms are good to rent. Had to go to the desk 2 times before getting a room that was ready
Once again I stayed here and it has always been outstanding service the morning breakfast bar is always well kept. Staff is always available for help. With a smile.

Good rooms, very in tune with the vibe of the hotel, you feel in a movie. Cup coffee offers amazing vibe and food and at night the whole hotel turns into a great place to dance and hang out. Love hotel congress!!
I hope this saves someone from the mistake we made. The hotel does a very good job letting you know in advance that the hotel is loud. We thought we were prepared. However, on a Saturday night very loud was even an understatement. The noise level inside the room is to a level that I cannot believe they even offer these as "hotel" rooms. The only use for them would be to crash after a late night ...
Centrally located in old town Tucson next to the train depot this historic hotel is attached to a Jazz Bar concert hall called the Century room. It’s the most convenient place to stay if you’re taking in a Jazz Show. The 2story hotel doesn’t have an elevator so be prepared to lug your luggage. The windows and the walls are thin so it’s noisy and it’s also ******* with an Ouija Board in the lobby...
Simple and antique kinda but perfect , and not plain!!!! Good to focus on who you're renting the room with and not the TV and stuff. Great Club and Bar downstairs the Tap room I think.. Bar Duo, Barb and Billy were awesome! Great drinks and great service!!! The drink was delicious and the guy was really helpful!!!
Normally it smells pretty bad right when you walk in the door. Kind of like a dirty mop. During this visit, it smelled like Christmas. The large patio with music and a dance floor is a great atmosphere for hanging out. During the winter, the heaters are on outside. There are a lot of tables and 2 bars on the patio as well as inside.
So cute such a fun place to visit while in Tucson. All the staff was so super sweet and the bartender Barb whips out fantastic drinks and keeps up with a busy crowd.
It was a good mix of a fun atmosphere but cozy seating to sit and chat! Loved it all! I love that they sell the postcards. They’re so cute such a fun little souvenir. I picked out four and a T-shirt and I just love them.

Great location, spacious & clean
Loved this place! We stayed here while riding in El Tour de Tucson. So close to the start/finish at the Conv Ctr and downtown restaurants. Cool lounge and courtyard, live music Sat night. Cool place to stay.
We were in town for the tour de Tucson. The hotel was super conveniently located next to the start line of the tour. The staff were very accommodating. They let us store our bikes there before our room was ready. We also kept our car parked there until the event was over. Super chill place. I would recommend.
Loved this little hotel. Cute retro decor. Great onsite restaurant and bar. Would definitely stay again!
Stayed here for a week in the early summer. Room was a good size, plenty of space to move around. Would have liked some kind of table or desk though in the room we were staying in, had to do all my computer stuff on the bed. Temperature in the room was comfortable. Bathroom was nice. I never had a problem with parking, and I always felt safe but would have liked an extra lock on the door just for peace...
Super cute property. The room was simple and beautiful, and the vaulted ceilings and concrete floors/walls were very neat. Loved the midcentury flair. The courtyard and bar were a nice touch. Affordable, easy, and a short walk to downtown Tucson on a shockingly quiet street. Would absolutely stay again!
This 70s retro feel hotel is really amazing. VERY dog friendly and a real bargain for what you get. Will be staying here again for sure!

Nice staff clean rooms wonderfull place when on a budget get a lot for a fair price
Staff interaction was courteous. My fridge was broken and they replaced it within half an hour. The breakfast was pretty sparse, but they didn't mind that we ate multiple yogurts and stuck granola bars in our bags. Items like bedspreads and towels were worn out, and soap/shampoo provisions were minimal. However, it was an affordable and respectable location for many people travelling across the border...
Clean room great staff. Breakfast wa horrible limted items. No waffles. Just cheap biscits and gravy. Two options of cereal. Apple juice tasted foul. Needs work or have a female make the breakfast.
I did not take advantage of the breakfast, so no comment.
Staff was great, no issues they were friendly and attentive. The lady who attended my room did a wonderful job, thank you. 104 Appreciate the stay.
The room is clean, the breakfast is good, the service is good, the hotel also pays attention to details, and the comfort is good. There are several people in front of you when you check in, and the waiting time is 30 minutes +.
Mario is the manager and he was the bomb very professional! Very clean room very nice people. Will definitely come back again

Very cute, cozy place. Felt like visiting a friend.
The common spaces were warm and welcoming, the staff friendly and kind. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended by a day.
Such a treasure close to U of A. Can’t wait to return. Everything was perfect.
Beautiful oasis in Tucson
This is a fantastic place to stay in Tucson! Dina, the hostess, is a wonderful person and takes good care of her guests. We especially loved the beautiful pool and backyard patio. Daily varied breakfasts were a highlight. You should stay here!!
I love small boutique hotels like this. Dina is an excellent host and a great cook for a breakfast B & B. Only comment was we visited during the hottest time and there is no a/c in the public space just overhead fans. Can't change that in a historic home though. Interesting decor and everything you could need to be comfortable, thank you
Very comfortable adult B & B with every amenity considered. Reasonable, free parking, accommodated our early schedule one morning (thank you) and always checked daily to see if we needed anything. Pool was refreshing in the summer heat and plenty of chairs to sit outside in the evening. We enjoyed our stay!

The rooms need updating! EVERY wall socket is worn out and cannot hold a plug. Not OK. It’s not an expensive or difficult fix.
Everything else was fine. The staff is friendly, although very young.
The room was clean, but we ran out of body soap in the shower. In terms of comfort, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Also, there was no comforter, so it was a bit cold at night.
Breakfast included was listed, but there was no breakfast available. They switched it to a full restaurant. Not what I wanted or was promised. Shower has on top of the ceiling so you could not take a shower w/o washing your hair. Not practical. No smart TV or movies for rent - for long evenings not practical and stuck in 20th century.
The air conditioner vent is inside the room, affecting sleep.
It's an old-fashioned chain hotel, not quite as good as those in China. But it's alright.
Parking was free and very close to our room. Staff was extremely helpful to any of our questions or needs.

Very good value for money, good breakfast, free parking.
This was the most satisfying hotel we stayed at during our trip, completely exceeding our expectations. Not only was the environment beautiful, but the staff were also extremely professional and welcoming. The rooms were surprisingly large, and we could even cook our own meals. Beautiful accommodations, clean room, very friendly front desk and a fun welcoming happy hour with great view of The Catalinas! What more could one ask for?
Everything's very very good. The rooms were clean. My only thing would be with a concern for water. I think their toilets could be changed to use less water per flush
The problem with the room was it had a smell like a Sewer problem, complained about the room. The smell The girls at the front desk tried to eliminate it with spray deodorants , it didn't work. It Was terrible. Finally the third day maintenance came and did fix it. The other surprise was $15 parking every night we stayed.
Looks like the place was recently redone. Everything I saw was nice and updated and clean. We were both very pleased and would certainly stay here again.
Shower stall was slippery and food at breakfast could be improved a bit. Otherwise excellent. Loved the room otherwise.

I recognize that breakfast was really busy, but there were no bowls or plates available for a long time when my family went downstairs for breakfast. Disclaimer: I consistently try to post positive, informative reviews. I will endeavor to do so, however, it's important for my fellow travelers to get a true depiction of this hotel.
I am not sure if the hotel has recently suffered from a bad weather event like a hurricane or tornado, which would account for what I experienced.

My experience was amazing, from beginning to end. The cost of a room for three people (on a Friday, no less) was quite decent. Excellent staff and location. Rooms had stained carpet and furniture and had issues like slow drain, tiles with no grout, black bugs in shower (after rainstorm) and non-working appliances. We moved rooms once for horribly uncomfortable beds. Staff was quick and accommodating for repairs and to make sure we were comfortable but second room was more of the same mediocre. Breakfast was hot and fresh....
Courteous staff. Clean. Nice restaurants within walking distance. good breakfast. Furniture slightly dated.
Have stayed at this facility for years. Our recent stay was excellent. Everything from the front desk to our room, immaculate, to breakfast...well we could not have asked for more.
We were unable to participate in the evening social but that is such a lovely idea!!!!! hank you Hilton and we shall definitely be back!
Second time to stay. Really nice little plaza location with good dining. Farmers market on the weekend and still plenty of parking and safe.

As surprised by the hotel. It was very nice, we had the suite and it was very nice, felt like a small apartment. We didn’t use the pool area and on our last stay we had breakfast and it was nice hot breakfast. My kids loved it. Clean rooms and nice staff when we were there.
The Manager is a complete class act she went above and beyond ❤️ best accommodations near airport
The room was great and very clean and the staff is great. Thank you and most definitely I will stay here again.
I appreciate that the property is pet friendly, however the pet owners and property management have some issues. Pet owners do not necessarily clean up after their pets both inside and outside the building and it was up to me to clean up the messes. That was disappointing. Yes, I did report it to the front desk before I did it.
Front desk staff were soooo nice!!! Food was great. Room was very clean. We rented the 2 bedroom suite and one of the toilet won’t flush but other than that was great! All I can say is that it’s way better than Marriott!! We were more comfortable in Staybridge and it didnt cost us almost $2,000 for just 2 nights!! From now on, will be staying at Staybridge more often. This hotel is highly recommended...

The price is right for the rooms, the room was clean and great size, it is conveniently located not far from the airport; however, the smell at the corridors and the elevator was disgusting.
Was good enough.
Pillows were small. Sheets were rough. No black out shades, had to add a blanket to the window over the slated shades to restrict lighting from parking lot. No kitchen utensils provided. You can purchase them for a lot of money. Minimum amount of towels, no hand towels, just a wash cloth and bath. Two of each. Shampoo and bar soap was horrible.
