Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport (USA) in Los Angeles

I booked the Four Points by LAX because of the very low price for two nights and the airport shuttle to and from LAX. Although the rooms are rather dated and are nothing special, I felt as if the property was very decent overall for the price! I absolutely loved how it was right across the street from the Budget rental car lot as I was able to easily rent a car for the day to drive to and from Universal Studios Hollywood for my birthday. I also loved how the shuttle frequently stopped at the airport so that I could easily catch my early morning flight after my birthday. If you are looking for a simple affordable hotel with a shuttle to and from LAX and are not super particular, then the Four Points by Sheraton is for you!

Overall a pleasant stay at Four Points LAX - I got a great deal on the stay for my dates which is why I booked it despite reading the generally negative reviews. Honestly, this is a perfectly fine property. The whole building, but especially the guest rooms, are clearly dated but mine was clean and reasonably spacious as far as hotel rooms come.

Location is definitely not going to suit everyone. My activities were concentrated around LAX so it worked well for me, but I had to go into downtown which took about 1hr 20m under the current metro trains service alignment. This should improve any week soon once the K line begins running though Aviation / Century station, about a 15 min walk from the hotel. Bus route 3 stops right out the front of the hotel which will take you to Santa Monica in just under an hour. Parking I think is $60 / night.

The staff were the standouts to me. All of them were fantastic, they made me feel welcome at check-in and greeted me almost every time I walked past the lobby on my way back to my room.

A few issues I think need to be addressed - water pressure in the shower is quite low, even when you adjust the showerhead. Also, I only found out once I landed at LAX that the shuttle service has been discontinued, effective 24th Feb 2025. Unfortunately that was via a driver for the Sheraton gateway bus and I did not receive any correspondence from the hotel directly prior to my stay. I had to make other transport options as a result, so be wary of that if your purchase says it comes with an airport shuttle. The staff at the hotel can arrange a taxi transfer if you need.

I stayed at the Four Points for a night as a place to crash as I had an early morning flight. It was cheaper than all the other hotels in the area by about $30, which scared me a bit, but for what I paid, what I got was actually really nice.

The staff was fine, answered questions, and the 24/7 shuttle to the airport was very much appreciated.

My expectations were low, I was just looking for a place to take a shower and crash for a few hours, and what I got was exactly what I needed.

Room: It wasn’t the best thing. The bathroom door didn’t lock, there was some damage on the closet door, but it was carpeted floor and seemed mostly clean.

Location: The shuttle to the airport took less than 10 minutes to go from hotel to airport. Incredibly convenient. The local food options didn’t seem to exist, other than a Papa John’s van in the hotel parking lot. Being right next to the airport, the planes can be loud, and LAX is running 24/7, so if you’re sensitive to noise, this might not be the place to stay. I found I was able to block most of it out with just an extra pillow, so it didn’t bother me.

Everything was perfect for what I needed. Great place if you have an overnight layover or an unexpected itinerary change, but I wouldn’t stay here for longer than a night.

Not as nice as the pictures portrayed. Very disappointing plus the 55$ a night parking on the hotel grounds not included in your booking and the breakfast buffet is 30$ per adult and 15$ per kid also not included in booking. Also the rooms were pretty worn out and the bathroom was horrible the bathroom bathtub clogged up with a foot of water for over an hour while I had two kids and two adults to shower. Also they wanted a 350$ deposit when I showed up that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking. Overall 2 star out of 5 honestly. They did have a many market but it was 7$ for a water.
