I stayed here for the third time when having a connection at the LAX airport . It has free shuttle , is like only ten minute ride from the airport to the hotel and I can tell now is just remodel which looks a lot nicer than before , more modern and clean , so I think now is way better than before . I think is perfect for people who need to stay close to the airport

We chose Sonesta for its convenience before an early morning flight, and it turned out to be a great decision. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The two ladies at check-in were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, and our shuttle driver was just as kind and helpful.

Our room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. While we did notice a bit of noise, it didn’t bother us. The bed was soft and comfortable, and we slept surprisingly well.

For a quick overnight stay with warm service and easy airport access, Sonesta delivered exactly what we needed.

The hotel is not really that clean. It’s an older hotel that’s received a decent update but not a full renovation. The bathrooms still have the old 1960’s tub but the walls have been retiled. The rooms are nice sized but in a weird way it feels like an old hotel with new furniture. Our room was facing the airport and its runway. The rooms have the old school motel style a/c heating and cooling unit mounted to the outside wall. The downside is, it’s hard to sleep with the loud motor running all night and the cut out of the unit in the wall also lets all the airplane runway noise in also. 10 floors up and you can hear all the traffic, honking, sirens and airplanes taking off. This hotel isn’t much cheaper then neigh-boring hotels but the sacrifice being made to save money as the expense of trying to sleep in a noisy room is tough to do again.

Not enough front office staff to check in customers. So wait was long. The existing frontoffice reception seem to take their time to complete the check in. The rooms were ok.

I typically stay at Sonesta El Segundo when I come to LA for vacation but decided to try LAX this time.

My stay here wasn't the best. It all started on 12/15/17, the facility entrance construction made the entrance unapproachable, but it's cool, I understand that renovation is important and makes the hotel more presentable. But the real issues started here: The Room wouldn't cool down with the AC, it was actually warm the whole night, there was also a fire drill that woke me up from my sleep too, which I didn't know about, and to top it off, the fire drill made the WIFI network crash, so internet wasn't working.

This Hotel is insanely lucky to have employees like "Rhoma Jade Peau" Guest Service Agent- Who I saw working the night and during the day too, which I am grateful for her help, and Sharon from night shift as well. Both did their best to accommodate me as the best they could, and for their customer service alone, I'd come to this hotel again.

Free shuttle to and from Airport . Was not able to connect to the wifi ,called front desk and operater for 30mins ，Nobody answer . Went down to the front desk, was told wifi was down. Could have told us upon checkin ,wifi wasnt working . We could have change hotel ❗️

There were hidden fee’s when we first booked our two rooms the website said $129 security deposit per room. When we had arrived and checked in. They said it was $600 security deposit per room.
So a total of $1200 on top of our rooms we had already paid for which was $1200.
For a total of $2400 for two rooms!
Totally outrageous! Also the hotel was supposedly nice but hot water did not work great, took forever to heat up but when it heated up it wasn’t even hot. Also the doors and walls are so thin. You can literally hear your neighbors talk or someone walk in the hall way.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room size is very good and on a whole quite comfortable. Ub a ciyoke if riins the thermostat did not work.
Has free airport shuttle which is a big plus.

Our experience was not very impressed. When we got into our room (Rm 1223), the heater was not working. We called the front desk but no one was able to pick up the phone. In the end, we went to the front desk hoping to find someone to deal with the problem. Unfortunately, there was a long line waiting to be checked in. We waited at the cafe until the line was gone. Tomisha was very helpful; she offered to give us another room (Rm 1226). However, the heater was also not working in the second room. We were so tired and didn't bother to ask for a third room.

As many people have commented, the hot water in the shower was not hot enough. The room was already cold and there was no hot shower. So, you can imagine how I spent that one night at the hotel.

We go on our annual cruise to Mexico and usually stay at Hyatt Regency. We wanted to explore another hotel this time, and booked three rooms altogether. I don't think we will return again.

Would not let me redeem my rewards on my Starbucks app but will let me use my app to pay and not clean at all for being inside a hotel BEWARE the menu says $5.25 for a venti but paid instead $6.75 they are crooks here!!!

Beware of the Starbucks inside the hotel. The price they charge is different to the price list. Check your receipt carefully after you have ordered something or else they will charge you more.

The food is perfect. There is no need to go anywhere else. It is better than most stand alone restaurants and outdoes Chop everyday plus Sunday. have the Roasted Salmon or the Flat Iron Steak. When you order ask them to make you some garlic mash on the side. The wine list is good too. Now I am hungry.

My husband and I had the opportunity to have a buffet breakfast at 96 Street Bistro while staying at the Los Angeles Renaissance Hotel. The restaurant is located to the right as you enter the Renaissance Hotel lobby area. The breakfast buffet offers an array of fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, fresh breads and pastries among other standard continental options. For those of us who like to have omelets for breakfast, the chef did a great job preparing one of my favorites, an egg white veggie omelet. The food was fresh and nicely displayed. Though the restaurant is not very large, it did not seem overly crowded. The servers were all very friendly, polite, kept our drinks filled, and came by often to check on us. A huge plus in my book! While 96 Street Bistro is comprised mostly with tables and chairs, there are also a few booths located toward the back of the restaurant.
The Renaissance Hotel has a very stylish contemporary décor with ambient lighting in the lobby area. This theme is reflected in the restaurant as well, and lends a colorful and fun aspect to the room.
I would recommend 96 Street Bistro for a very satisfying buffet breakfast.
