Hollywood VIP Hotel in Los Angeles

This hotel sucked!!! We went there Sep10, 25. The AC in the first room we were given didn't work. Windows were open with no screens. When the receptionist heard that the AC wasn't working she told us to move to another room. We moved to the other room and checked the beds to make sure they were clean. One of the bed's sheet had a hole in it. There was a DIRTY SOCK in the other bed wrapped within the sheets. We immediately went down to talked to the receptionist again. She came up and saw everything. We told her that we will not stay in the hotel anymore and she agreed telling us that she'll not charge us. However we're charged and I had to to call the hotel today (Sep 28, 25) to see why we were charged. There was a different receptionist on the phone. He wasn't helpful at all. He said I had to call the hotel again tomorrow Sep 29th between 8-9am to talk to their manager Kathy. I don't even know if Kathy is the real manager. I wasn't given any personal number. The receptionist didn't even share his name with me. Not only we had a terrible experience in the hotel I had to spend more time to get my money back and also write this review.
DO NOT stay in this hotel. it's dirty!!!!!!!! They lie big time !!!!!!

Can’t expect too much for a low price but what I expect is at least the standard for a room. Got one towel that was older than Methuselah and felt like sandpaper for a two person occupancy. No chairs in room, windows don’t lock but there are bars outside of them. Shower had missing head and hose. Just water pouring from the hose connection for handicap. Beds seemed clean but a dent in the mattress felt like sleeping in a pothole. Paid parking in back so you have a spot but garage full of God knows what sat outside the back door and drug needles littered the alley. Not the fault of the hotel but the city itself. Location was ideal to event and the staff were very nice.

Host was smoking right outside the entrance uncomfortable check-in dealing with cigarette oder. After checking in host asked if I had a car. Parking will be $30. Never again here 😭

Very bad service, they didn't clean when we were there, there was food and the only thing they gave was cereal with milk, there was no sugar, no cutlery, no napkins, very bad smell

We booked for 2 nights and the first night we asked the receptionist if it was possible to for a reimbursement we found cucarachas in the bathroom and one in the bed. My kids were crying because they didn’t want to sleep in the room. I asked to speak with the manager and the receptionist said she is not going to be here for the next day or so. We ended booking another hotel

The hygiene is very poor (there are cockroaches), there are pollutants on the toilet seat, the price is unreasonable, parking is inconvenient, it is inconsistent with the advertisement, the service attitude is poor, the guests are urged to leave before 11 o'clock, the sound insulation in the room is very poor, which affects sleep.
