This hotel followed all of the necessary procedures to ensure their guests' safety. They made certain that we all had a safe and pleasant place to stay. I was impressed by how accommodating the staff is. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. Strongly recommended!

My wife and I stayed for two nights on Friday and Saturday as a celebration for my 42nd birthday. The service and employees are warm, attentive, and helpful. The room service was served on a tablecloth, and the gentlemen knew just where to place the table so that we could continue to enjoy the hotel's majesty as we ate. Overall, an amazing experience!

TLDR; The rooms themselves are updated and decent. Everything else is a poor experience and the staff are extremely unfriendly.
The hotel rooms were all updated and pretty modern, the beds comfortable, and the glass fridge a nice touch.
The rest of our experience was negative though. For one, our room lost power for 24 hours and they neither moved us nor refunded us for that night. The staff was continually condescending and mildly aggressive, even making the checkout process difficult.
Also, the streets around the hotel reach stand-still traffic on the weekends. Took us 30 minutes recently to move two blocks.

This is my dream hotel in town! This establishment is a fantastic place to linger and it is fantastic. The staff is extremely courteous, and everything else, including the facilities, is given. I had a fantastic time here and am confident that I will stay at this hotel again for my next visit. All should do it!

We visited for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Perfect walking distance to the venue. Rooms are nice, looks like they were recently renovated. Front desk service was pleasant and efficient. However the happy hour prices were high ($5 for a 12oz bottle of domestic beer?). Also I would ask for a room away from the main street, as the windows are thin and do not block noise well. Parking is limited, $24 a night and the spaces are tight.

This would have been an OK place to stay if we were not put in a room that faced Highland Avenue. It may as well have been the 101. NOISY!!! Also, the toilet wanted to overflow: the dirty water rose to the top of the rim; it took then an hour to fix it. We complained again and insisted on being moved to another room, (after being put off for 3 hours). The person on the desk claimed to not have the authority to move us. Since we were stay a second night, they finally moved us. When we asked about a small credit for our inconvenience, we were again told that the Manager was unavailable. Asking again when we were leaving at 9:00 (AM), again the manager was unavailable. Must be nice to have those hours. The positive is that it's a short walk to the Hollywood Bowl. But there are other hotels within walking distance as well. If we come back for anything at the Hollywood Bowl, we won't be staying at the BLVD.

Great location if you're seeing a show at the Hollywood bowl! Within walking distance. I've stayed here a couple times and plan on staying here again! Clean rooms, good customer service, and the rooms are beautiful. My only problem was the reception on my cell phone was terrible. Had to walk out to get good signal for a phone call. Not a real serious problem for me however.

We were able to check in a little early and even upgraded to a suite, which was great. The room was a little smaller than I would have thought (for a suite), but it was comfortable. A bit of a gnat/fruitfly situation in the bathroom - we saw several and I ended up with a bite on my ankle (spider?). One bed was comfy and quiet, while one was creaky and had a sunken mattress (guess which one I got!). Went to a concert and stopped by the "lounge" for a drink - the hours said it was open, but the surly bartender said it was not. Kind of an up and down experience, but it is a fairly cute boutique hotel, almost everyone is super friendly, and the location is great.

Check in was at 3pm, we got there at 3:45pm and the room wasn't ready. We waited until 5:15pm, to get a room, and only got a room because we complained about the wait. We had plans to go to a concert that night and due to the very late check in, we missed our dinner reservation. The shower was missing a glass door, which got the entire bathroom wet. They wouldn't help us out in any way except to wave their $26 parking fee. By the way, the parking garage was small and filled up. We called the hotel and was put on hold for 15 mins, I hung up and then we had to double park and block someone in just so I could talk to the staff. When we finally got to our room, it was OK, not worth the $280 we paid. I regret my trip there, we would have been better off at the Best Western or the Holiday Inn across the street. Rude staff, and I would not recommend to anyone. There are many better places to get a hotel in LA, and when we checked out they tried to charge us for parking, when they said it was waved, had to argue again with the staff. Wish I could give it 0 stars.
