Moxy San Diego Downtown/Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego

Room was very clean, staff was nice and helpful, coffee was tasty. Bar had a good vibe although we got tired of the music selection but that is just personal preference. We are from the Midwest…ha! The room is very small but manageable.

So much fun and a perfect location near all the bars and restaurants Gaslamp has to offer. Everything is walking distance

The staff was nice and the property was beautiful! The breakfast wasn’t free but was delicious! There are plenty of games, and although I didn’t go, there’s a speakeasy in the hotel library. It’s close to a lot of bars and food options, so there’s no need for transportation. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Property was great, well staffed and clean. It was a relief to feel safe within the hotel.
The Gaslamp District/streets have become overwhelmed with transients. Naked individuals arguing with themselves, human feces on the sidewalks, stepping around people sleeping on the sidewalks; it was very uncomfortable. Business owners need to address this with the city.

Excellent location, bathroom door doesnt close correct so water leaked every time we showered, and vallet parking is very expensive but overall fantastic

Had a very pleasant one night stay at this hotel. When I arrived by car I was greeted and immediately helped with my luggage; it was unloaded from the car and taken to my room. The check in process was very smooth and I was also given a food voucher for $8 as well as a drink which I used for a cappuccino. I liked my room as it had a nice view and all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Something unexpected but very useful that I found in the room was the steamer which I was able to use for my wrinkled clothes (two thumbs up). The internet signal was very strong and there was coverage throughout the hotel. Communication with all the staff at the hotel was very pleasant. The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Overall a great hotel that I would not hesitate to stay at again.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It was a great experience in terms of the bar, room, conference facilities etc. But the staff here also dealt with a few big mistakes (both my fault) with great kindness. One night when my partner went down for takeaway, her room key wasn't working when she returned. I fell asleep and apparently nothing could wake me (although she and the night crew tried). As her name wasn't on the booking they couldn't let her into the room (quite rightly and we both understand why) but they made sure she was safe and were very kind about it. The next morning about 30 minutes out of town I realised I'd left some clothes in the wardrobe. They managed to find them, contact me and sent a package the next day. This was *after* they had to check the lost and found (which is kept in the safe) for what I'd lost. (It was a crazy weekend!) Even though I wasn't trying to be a nightmare guest and apologized profusely for everything, the staff never made me feel bad about it and were so helpful every step of the way. If I'm ever in San Diego again, I'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel is great and they give you a drink voucher when you check in. Free coffee, milk and water are also provided at the counter. A cup of hot coffee in the morning is very comfortable
The lobby is very spacious, with desks available and two Apple desktop computers.

The room is not very big, with an ordinary double bed, but there is no problem in opening two suitcases! Very suitable for short-term travel
The hotel staff was very kind. I arrived early that day and the front desk asked me to check in early.

The hotel is very close to the light rail, bus station and coal lamp district. It takes about five minutes to walk. The location is very convenient.
