I really like this hotel, amazing location, excellent team and service

The hotel is OK. The location is very good if you want to be close to Old Town, and it is also convenient to Ocean Beach and the rest of Point Loma.

My only complaint is parking. There isn't enough surface parking. If you park overnight in their garage, you will be charged $30. That's probably mentioned somewhere during check in, but I didn't catch it.

It's very close to the airport and there are some great Mexican and Italian restaurants within walking distance. It's clean throughout and the staff is very friendly.

My girlfriend and me stopped by after dinner at a Mexican restaurant down the street because the creamery was advertised on the brochure of the old town trolley tour. We were served by a very friendly and joyous lady. Both my girlfriend and me chose the smallest size which was still more than enough in my eyes. The ice cream itself was fantastic and we will gladly stop by again if we are in the area again.

Customer service was not the same for all customers. Product received was not the same for all customers. As a visitor to the area, the service we received was less than desirable. Other families were served together by both employees. My family was left to be served by one employee, so the family behind us could be served. Ice cream in same size containers were running over, but my family containers were barely filled.

This is a tiny corner location, so there are no seats inside the building. They do have a few outdoor benches you can use, though. The employee was very nice and she gave a very generous portion of ice cream even though we both ordered the smallest size available ("Like it"). The store is clean and well kept. Great spot for a quick treat if you're exploring Old Town.

I like Gold stone. It was first time for me there. The stuff have a good service. They did not have waffle but everything was nice.

We took our son who graduated Marine Boot Camp there to get ice cream. The girls working that evening seen his Marine shirt and asked him if he graduated today. They told him thank you for joining the Marines and his ice cream was on the house! As a dad it makes you very proud the Cold Stone Creamery recognizes and offers free ice cream to the new Marines.

Great Tuesday tacos. The selection is a little small, but the tacos are large in size. The house margarita is pretty good as well. I did notice that they have quite a lot of seats open, but have a long waiting list. I hate when restaurants do that. Hire more servers when you know it will be a busy night.

Fun atmosphere, food is just ok, decent margaritas, unfortunately our service was extremely lacking. We took a chance since Cafe Coyote was closed for private party but would not come back. They give free chips and salsa but the neither are worth eating.

This was the only restraunt that was opened thanksgiving it was good and different flavor for mexican food. Chips and salsa was delicious. I got one of the samplers it was all good.

I ordered the Fajitas plate. Do yourself a favor and get this updated classic. The tender marinated steak tastes as if prepared over mesquite fire. Cooked perfectly medium rare then properly sliced to serving size, served over a bed of rice that is perfectly seasoned and the beans appear to be black beens that are to die for. The traditional vegetables included mushrooms for an added depth of flavor. I am so pleased I made the choice to have dinner here at Fred's. If you love excellent as opposed to simply good food. This is the place for you and to impress your friends who enjoy a truly memorable dinning experience. The meal included fresh crushed avocado, sour cream, fresh sliced tomato and onion that just made my meal perfect for me. Enzymes aid digestion as well.
