Hard Rock Hotel San Diego in San Diego

We went there to attend an event at the San Diego Convention center, this is a perfect location as it is just a few minutes walking distance from hotel to the center. Many nice bars and restaurants nearby. You would be fine if you just want to stay in the hotel, as they also have good bars and restaurants, fitness center, and I an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi. The staff were nice and helpful, clean hotel overall.

It is very close to the conference center and the dining street, very convenient. Soundproofing, hygiene and service are all very good

The location, the service, the valume proposition - are/were all perfect at the Hard Rock Hotel. The room was spacious and even enabled business meetings to be held as there was a convenient divider so that the seated area could be used for that purpose.

Very good, very convenient location. There is also a delicious restaurant downstairs. It is also close to the beach.

Hard Rock Hotels have a special place in my heart ever since I first stayed at their Atlantic City location. Back then, I moved from a terrible hotel to Hard Rock Casino, and the difference was like night and day—going from a poor experience to a full-on 5-star treatment.

Fast forward to my recent stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego for my birthday, and once again, they delivered an unforgettable experience.

From the moment I checked in, everything was seamless. The process was quick and efficient, and I loved the modern technology they use to enhance the guest experience. Ordering room service was a breeze, and the attention to detail was incredible. The food arrived beautifully presented on a tray with a tablecloth and cover—just like in the movies where people enjoy luxurious breakfasts in bed.

But what truly made my stay magical was their thoughtfulness. I hadn’t informed them it was my birthday, yet in the evening, I was surprised with a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket, a heartfelt birthday card, and personal congratulations from the staff. It was such an unexpected and touching gesture that made my special day feel even more extraordinary.

Hard Rock Hotel San Diego offers not just luxury but a personal touch that transforms a stay into a cherished memory. Whether it’s for a celebration or just a getaway, this place knows how to make you feel like a VIP. Highly recommended!

I stayed here a few weeks ago and the service and the rooms were amazing. The night before I left I realized I left my credit card in one of there bars by accident the night before I checked out in the hotel and when I checked out even the the bar was closed the staff was willing to check with showing my id for my credit card and my credit was there and normally I would freak out in a situation like this but this shows the outstanding service they have. Will stay here in a heartbeat if I come back to San Diego

The hotel is very cool.

And extremely clean.

(Not only the rooms but the common areas as well).

The staff was great.

And our suite was super comfortable.

*** BTW: The weekends tend to get loud and a bit rowdy.

The rooms and hotel itself are spotless and beautifully designed, with a modern, vibrant aesthetic that truly captures the Hard Rock vibe. Most importantly, the beds are extremely comfortable – perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Diego!

I’m not the type of person that would leave reviews good or bad. However my family and I recently stayed here on 11/2/24 for one night. We valet and from the moment we arrived to the day we departed, WOW! We were very very impressed with our stay. At check in they had a small line, I was greeted and walked by a staff member to the back where they check in special hotel members. Check in was a breeze and was even offered a complimentary beverage of choice. Made my way to the elevators and up to my room. Upon exiting and walking to my room, we were greeted again by hotel staff members. The hotel member welcomed and asked if we needed anything and was told to let them know if there was anything we need to just let them know. I really appreciated that they were adamant, welcoming and the warm hospitality just in the first 15 minutes I was there. Our room was very nice, we had standard two queen room. Beds/pillows were comfy, the view was of the Petco Park stadium which was really cool. I wasn’t to thrilled of the pocket door to the restroom or the fact there was no exhaust fan switch. Loved the decor in the lobby, of course the pleasant hotel smell you always get at nice hotels. We’ve stayed a many hotels in my life time, and frequently in Vegas, HRH is up there on my list! Will definitely and highly recommended. I will definitely be back in the future, thank you Hard Rock
