Fantastic hospitality both front desk and at the restaurants. The rooms were spacious and beautiful with extremely comfortable beds. My highlight was the huge bathtub. Will stay again.

Our experience at Loews Coronado was impeccable. The service was outstanding and the attention to detail truly exceptional. We stayed 8 nights and had breakfast at the hotel restaurant every morning, with delicious food and excellent service.

We will definitely be back. There’s no way we would visit San Diego without staying at Loews Coronado. Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special.

The staff are great, from the valet people to house keepers, pool attendants and front desk
The gym is in great condition and new equipment and clean!
The rooms are clean and well maintained but the bathroom is looking a little dated and needs some renovations
The cafe is great and many options
We didn’t eat at their restaurant because the menu wasn’t too kid friendly and very pricey.

Cindy at the reception desk was AMAZING. I mean wow.. ssoooo nice and super accommodating. My fiancé and I were celebrating his 50th, she upgraded our room, gave us discounts at the spa. She also directed us to some great restaurants in the area. She really enjoys her job and we enjoyed her, thank you Cindy!!

We had an outstanding stay at Loews Coronado Bay during a recent trip with my wife and kids. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was incredibly attentive. We had mentioned that we were celebrating our son’s birthday, and they not only remembered, it showed how thoughtful they really are. When we returned to our room on his birthday, the kids were surprised with cookies and milk along with a sweet card. It was such a genuine, memorable gesture and really set the tone for the whole stay.

The property itself is fantastic for families. The outdoor pool area is perfect for entertaining the kids, and even though I was in town for a conference, my family had an amazing time on the resort. The combination of great service, family friendly amenities, and attention to detail truly made our stay exceptional.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Coronado, whether for work, family travel, or both.

Our first stay at the Loews was remarkable! ! Jade at the front desk, and Chris the bellhop were both welcoming and professional upon our arrival/check-in. Our room was spotless, had easy access to the pools and self parking for our car. Later we had amazing service at the Cays lounge and patio fireside area by Elijah on two different occasions- both of which he greeted us by remembering our last name. Class act! We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant where the hostess and server, Margarita, provided exceptional service as well! The shuttle driver, Jim, took our entire family down to Coronado village, and was super friendly too. The resort has beautiful views and is a short bike ride/walk to Silver Strand beach which we did daily. The tennis courts and pool Cantina weren’t open during our stay, so those were the only drawbacks, however the pools were extremely clean and heated perfectly. There were a few other great employees for whom I did not catch their names but all should be commended for making our visit pleasant and memorable!

Best staycation for us. Very dog friendly. The rooms are spacious with great balconies. Easy to take the dog for a nice walk around the spacious grounds. The pool area is awesome, loved the salt water instead of the chemicals. The staff is so welcoming and met our every request. Will definitely return.

Disappointed that there was no indication of a special pre-fixe menu given for NYE. With dietary restrictions in our party we were not able to have dinner based on the menu provided and had to find other arrangements for dinner elsewhere. Had I known the regular menu would not be available, I would not have made the reservation.

No idea why reviews are low on this restaurant. I'm very specific with food, the level of afternoon to detail specifically temperature, texture and taste was exquisite. They knocked it out of the park! Definitely recommend the salmon and Maine style clam chowder. Our server even threw in free dessert because it was our honeymoon! Highly recommended. We will be back in June!!

I know when you stay here you are isolated, but at least try to make the food decent. Especially when I paid $18 for a lobster roll that was just a piece of bread stuffed with cold lobster and lettuce - no sauce, no nothing. My wife's burger was obviously a frozen burger and dry. AND french fries? It's really hard to mess up fries, but they managed to. They were soggy, limp, and the ones that weren't were tiny. Must have been the end of the bag. Terrible food for crazy high prices.
