I couldn’t find the check in counter.
There was no place to park.
I had no place to stay.
Fortunately I could find another place to stay.
I am considering a claim for compensation for the significant distress and fear caused by being unable to access the property, find parking, or secure accommodations, leaving me wandering in the dark at night.

You have to check in at a separate location that is several blocks away from where you’re staying. If we had to walk with all of our luggage that would’ve been very very difficult. The room itself was fine and roomie. The price was good.

We spent well over $2000 here on rooms for all of my kids and myself over Christmas 2025.Vanessa was by far the star of this resort. She made everything seamless and friendly. She went above and beyond to make our stays exceptional.

SUPER LOCATION and Brand new remodels! I think we were one of the first in our room. Only downside, they were completing the other 16 rooms at the same time. It was noisy during the day and parking was limited by a dumpster taking up 'our' spots.

Kitchen floor dirty and room smelled. The room itself lacked amenities: dish towels , paper towels and a freezer. Checking in was a bit disappointing he wasn't too friendly. I asked for dish towels and got bath had towels. The

It's the beach in San Diego for people who can't afford paying $300+ per night. If you're just going to chill at the beach, it's fine, but definitely a 70's motif. Plenty of good food/nightlife withing walking distances.

This place is ok. Definitely an apartment building recently converted into a hotel. There is no office on the premises you gotta check in at another hotel two blocks away. Strange. The room was fine, a little beat up for the price but quiet and comfortable enough. Bed was good enough. But the location was amazing. Right on the beach far enough away from the chaos of the boardwalk but close enough to walk too. I’ll check for other places next time but I’d go back here for the right price.

Ok stay, don't pay for a "kitchen"
The room was spacious and in decent condition.We booked a room with a kitchen with the intent of using it The kitchen was woefully under equipped. There were no drinking glasses, semi functioning mini fridge, a broken microwave. No toaster. There were were some dishes and cookeware, broken silverware, no dishtowels, napkins or placemats. No point in paying extra $$ for kitchen unit. Parking is very challenging, but having been in the neighborhood before we knew that.

Note that the check-in for this property is at another property a block and a half away. Limited parking an available on site so you may have to park at their other property and walk over. It’s a beachfront motel though so it’s hard to knock it!

Lobster BLT is a winner on brioche bread. Great staff, Crystal Pier views, sleek casual elegance in the beach bluff.

Attentive service. Interesting menu. Really good, but messy, croissant breakfast sandwich (& fries). Good drinks. Great location!

Best cerviche ever. Excellent salads and tacos. Extremely pleasant open-air dining at the beach. Definitely would revisit.

The restaurant was beautiful when we went for lunch. We arrived a little early so someone seated us outside for drinks. They have a really neat full bar outside, and the drinks were reasonably priced for a generous amount of alcohol. The view and waiter, once inside, were both excellent. He was very considerate, helpful and always close by. However, the hostess was rude and very sarcastic. The sushi was mediocre, but the salmon burger and desserts were delicious. Overall, we would visit again.

Delicious Shrimp Burger, best homemade potato chips I've ever tasted, great $10 fish dish and beer happy hour special, tunes on the sound system were just right, and solid live acts booked for a Friday night. Will be back to try their Mahi tacos (with more chips!)

Great spot for good drinks. In PB, you are going to get a younger crowd. Be sure to visit on Tuesday nights. 2 for 1 Tequila shots, and live music by local bands.
