Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego

While in the middle of Mission Bay, a German U-boat hit the Bahia Belle with 2 torpedoes in the engine room. The BB split in half - both sides aflame. People dove into the dark waters in a bid to save their lives. The heartless Germans strafted the waters with their machine gun leaving few survivors. Truly a maritime disaster

Sadly, the Captain of the vessel was distracted and we hit an iceberg. The ship went down quickly so as we couldn't get many of the lifeboats off in time. 57 souls lost in the icy cold, briny depths - fortunately I was one of the few suvivors. We have a memorial service every year on open seas of Mission Bay and toss empty beer cans out where the BB tragically sank!

AVOID GOING HERE AT ALL COSTS! GOT SICK & WASTED MONEY.
My family and I picked this restaurant for my brothers birthday dinner because it had good reviews and a high rating. However, DO NOT TRUST ANY GOOD REVIEWS ON THIS RESTAURANT. Though we made reservations, they were unnecessary​ because there was only one other family in the whole place. Should have walked out at first sight, looks like a dump. Trashy and unappealing​ atmosphere. Fake paper trees, part of the building is a trailer, shaky tables, etc. With hopeful optimism we ordered a s*** ton of rolls, so let me tell you, we got a thorough​ taste of the whole menu. I'm pretty sure my dads chicken had pieces of raw fish on it for some reason like they were trying to get rid of it because it was old? The sauce it was in also smelled and resembled​ canned cat food. As far as the sushi goes, I have never had anything worse. The fish was not fresh, and it was obvious. Textural problems and tasted & smelled fishy. No creativity or exquisite​ flavors. One of the "salmon mango" rolls we got, contained no mango, it only had a drizzle of mango flavored syrup that tasted like an iced tea flavoring. Anything that was supposed to contain crab salad, ​instead just had big chunks of imitation crab. Some of the fish tasted rubbery and looked discolored.
We even requested that some of our rolls be canceled​ so we didn't have to pay for anymore of this trash, but the waiter did not understand anything we were saying. Every one of us regretted eating what we did when we left. All of us came home feeling uneasy and many of us are sick to our stomachs. My mother is on the verge of throwing up and my dad said it was one of the worst meals he's ever had, and he eats anything. I WOULD NOT EAT HERE FOR FREE, and the bill sure wasn't cheap. Anyone who has had sushi more than once will know this place is terrible and would never in their right minds give it a good review! I do not know where this place gets its good reviews, but do not trust them. I'm just waiting on the diarrhea​ that I know is coming tonight or tomorrow. At least then I will be more settled knowing that this gunk is out of my system once and for all. WE ARE SICK AND WANT OUR MONEY BACK

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. I really don't understand why or how it has a 4.3 rating. My family and I just wanted to have a nice sushi dinner by the bay and all ended up coming home with explosive diarrhea. The place was empty upon arrival, although the staff was friendly, they didn't understand english, and the food was horrific. We ordered about 7 rolls of sushi and only one of which was bearable (and it was fried). All other rolls we had were NOT fresh, very bland, and tasted like it had been left over from earlier in the week. The colors and textures were off as well. My dad ordered a chicken teriyaki plate (that smelled like a can of cat food) and found some pieces of what looked to be raw chicken. Upon further inspection we figured out they were pieces of RAW FISH that had been mixed into the chicken when being plated. After that, we requested our last roll be canceled because we were already starting to feel unwell. Instead of canceling the order and bringing us the check as we requested, we received our last roll and waited another 20 minutes or so before actually receiving our check. We couldn't get out of that place any faster. It was way overpriced and anyone who has ever had good sushi would agree it was NOT worth the $15 a roll. Please save your money and your stomach and DO NOT EAT HERE.

Bathrooms smelled worse than a sewer and looked the same. Service was very slow.
