SureStay Hotel by Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach in San Diego

its really a terrible experience as am traveling across the states. it has a dual standard of service. as if you are unlucky to choose this hotel,you are done,and will be nuts when you are arranged to a room what is a mess or a room close to the laundry room,oh,the laundry room is not for guest,its for the hotel to laundry all its linens.just use dryer but no sanitizer,what horrible it is.and you will enjoy the breeze of the machine from night to morning otherwise you are getting up earlier than the machines wakes up but I thought you wont pay for a room that cant sleep for a sweet morning.

I was very disappointed with my experience at the SureStay By Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach. First of all, the service attitude of the red-haired front desk person was very unfriendly and made people feel unwelcome. This left a very unpleasant first impression on me.
After entering the room, I was even more disappointed. The smell in the room was unbearable. The smell made me very uncomfortable and made the entire stay a terrible experience.
Due to this bad experience, I originally planned to check out early the next day, but the hotel did not allow early check-out. This left me very dissatisfied as the hotel clearly did not provide the service I expected.
In the end, I had no choice but to negotiate with Ctrip and was able to successfully refund one night's room fee. This process is also relatively cumbersome, but fortunately Ctrip has not let me down.
The only thing worth mentioning is the breakfast. Although the breakfast was very simple, I was pleased that the service staff was very friendly.
All in all, the unfriendly front desk service, smelly room, and inflexible check-out policy at the SureStay By Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach made me very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone else. Hope the hotel can improve their service quality to provide a better stay experience.
I don’t understand how this hotel can get 4 stars on tripadvisor. I only saw 3.4 points on Google Maps. It seems the latter is more reliable.
