The vending machines were sold out especially water, fortunately there was a water dispenser at the front desk.

There is basically no service, no breakfast, convenient parking, and no response when I emailed to ask for a receipt.

The hotel is generally ok. The room and bathroom are old, but the place is clean. It is a three-story building with an elevator. The free Wi-Fi is not very useful. Parking is USD20 per night, which is quite expensive.

Overall, it's quite good, considering it's a fairly large motel resort. The only complaint is the thin flooring; whenever someone walks past, the ground shakes. The cleaning truck rumbles like thunder. The soundproofing is poor, and you can hear everything you hear from the outside. If you plan to stay out later, be sure to put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, otherwise the cleaning staff will frantically knock on your door at 8:30 a.m., every half hour. However, the cleanliness, safety, facilities, and service are all excellent.

Pros:
For those who don't drive, the location is convenient. You can walk to Fashion Valley to buy things. There are restaurants near the hotel. There is a small swimming pool and bubble bath, and you can also do laundry.

The room is large and feels quite spacious. Basic microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, and small soap are provided.

The quality of the bedding is OK, and it is more comfortable to sleep in.

Cons:
There is road construction outside, and I was woken up every morning.
The hotel front desk does not have coffee or tea. For those who like hot drinks, you can only make a coffee machine in the room. But it's OK.

Very poor hotel, I think it should be called a motel, it is completely open, and parking fees are charged just like that, the room smells strong, the window opens to the corridor, the standard of a motel, this hotel is so bad that I don't want to give it a single point.

The room we had was clean, functional and staying here is a great location to get to anywhere in San Diego. The A/C was either blowing constantly in your face, or we shut it off and it got stuffy. There is no happy median there. The reception was OK and you have to pay for parking on the premises. Internet is good though. The pool is only an incentive if you are there to hang out at the hotel - which is not what we were there for, and the beaches are more fun anyway. Overall, it is value for money and it is a decent location.

I will have to say the location of the hotel is great. The hotel itself is closer to a motel 6 as far as quality and amenities then a days inn. It is close to a ton of attractions. The rooms were clean. However they should just close off room 171. The noise from the people upstairs just walking is insanely loud. To the point I think they are just walking on drywall between us. The people upstairs are not doing anything wrong it's just poor upkeep. I have stayed in a lot of places traveling for work. Hearing someone above you is very common. But this was beyond acceptable. Also, The pool is disgusting. Your feet turn black walking around the pool area. 15 min with a power washer would fix that! You have to pay for parking even though there is plenty of space. They are using the paid parking to make their rates look cheaper. I expect to pay for parking at a higher end place but at least they park my car for me and grab my bags ;).

I had a Mission Valley hot dog with garlic fries. Possibly the best hot dog and best fries I have ever had! Good service. Reasonably priced.

The food wasn't bad but because of their 3% surcharge their food is overpriced. Also the waitress seemed very impatient and pushy

Great burgers! Garlic fries are to die for! Great selection, fresh ingredients and something for everyone. Service was good. We would go again.

I like the farm to table experience and ingredients. I don't mind paying a bit more for quality. The waiter was polite and respectful. He explained the menu and made useful suggestions. I would highly recommend this place if your staying at the Hotel Circle. The garlic fries are totally worth it and the burgers are wicked good. The relaxed and chilled atomsphere at the end of a hot long day is always welcomed. They even have a patio!

Very good food! Had the cowboy burger and it was well worth it....it also comes with fries for the price. Stayed at the Days Inn and the convenience was excellent. Definitely worth checking out if in the area.
