We are pleased with this hotel. However, the tipping culture seems to be overboard. Breakfast was inclusive of our stay but the service staff re-invent a way to be tipped.
They will bring you a receipt, though they will informed you that this is a formality as it is already paid in the booking. You are supposed to tally the breakfast cost with a line stating TIPS before the final total and your signature.

A really hard feather poked out of the pillow, leaving several painful marks on my face. When I reported it to the front desk, they didn't even apologize, let alone offer any solution!

The location seems good, but both nights I stayed, I arrived after dark. There were homeless people around, which made me hesitant to go out and explore, so I didn't get to experience the shopping and dining mentioned in other reviews. The cookies in the room were quite expensive; a small box cost $12 when I ate them at night. However, the breakfast with congee, fried dough sticks, and preserved mustard was excellent.

From the moment I arrived, I noticed how clean and neat the hotel was. There was a fresh scent that made the whole place feel pleasant and relaxing. The staff took great care of me, helping with every question I had and making me feel truly welcome.
Most importantly, I felt safe and at ease throughout my stay. The hotel has a comfortable vibe and does not feel scary or uncomfortable in any way. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s close to the Moscone Centre, and it’s a really good place to stay overall. The housekeeping team did an amazing job keeping my room spotless and tidy throughout my stay.

Throughout our stay, from the moment of arrival to departure, the hotel provided an outstanding experience, certainly deserving of a ten-star rating. The room was impeccably clean, and the bed linens were of the highest quality. The view was truly spectacular, and the room offered exceptional comfort, especially at night. We enjoyed cocktails at the on-site restaurant on several occasions, and each experience was delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend including their breakfast option when making your reservation. While I am not typically a breakfast enthusiast, the culinary offerings were simply divine, and I highly recommend them.

Service was great. Every staff greeted me every time I came across someone and they are always happy to help with anything. The lobby smelled heavenly. Everywhere is clean. A bit disappointed with their restaurants. I've only seen ANZU open for breakfast during my stay. You can get buffet or a la carte. Went to the Japanese restaurant for dinner. Food was average. Overall good hotel but maybe eat somewhere else.
