While the decor may be a little dated, the room and bathroom were very clean and somewhere i was very comfortable staying. The location is second to none and, being on a steep hill, the motel itself has a real character to it.
Plenty of parking and no wifi issues where i was.
I would definitely stay here again!

Only a block away from the boardwalk! Super convenient. Our room was nice & very clean, but unfortunately it had a VERY strong chemical smell that left my throat burning. We left all the windows open with the fan on & 8 hours later the smell was still just as strong. Won't be staying there again for that reason.

Friendly receptionist but, no heater, no mirror in the bathroom, creaky bed, noisy surroundings.

Staff was good, downfall was the upstairs guests. We couldn’t sleep all night, every steps they took were so loud the walls were vibrating.

Worst stay of my life. Got to the hotel room and it was 60 degrees inside. The heater doesn't work so they gave us a crappy space heater to use. We asked to move rooms and they told us none of the rooms have heaters. The space heater didn't work good at all. We had to get more blankets to keep warm. It was absolutely freezing all night. I will NEVER return to this hotel again.

It was cool but there was little to no water pressure in the shower, but had body wash and shampoo dispensers inside which was nice. Bare necessities, right off the boardwalk. Parking is a little tight, on a hill. If you don’t mind these things, it’s a simple sweet spot

Other than right in front of office, parking spots are on a super steep hill.
The parking lot next to property had people partying loud beginning at 10pm.
Be aware there is no elevator. Being older adults, we should have requested a first floor room.
The card key lock on our door worked fine, but the additional safety lock that clicks over from doorframe to door was broken in our room.
It was clean and we didn't spend much time there, just to sleep. For the price it served our purpose well.

It was difficult to park due to the uneven terrain but there was always a free space. very polite employees, if there are problems they always help to fix them. we will definitely come back

The room was very bare bones. There were not table lamps, there was no closet, the bed was uncomfortable, the room was very small and the water in the sink smelt like sewage. Most of this isn't too big of a deal (mostly inconvenient) but the issue was had was there was a man outside our room grunting for over 2 hours and the walls were so thin we could our neighbors the entire time.

We were supposed to stay there for 3 nights but we left after the 1st.
