This hotel is adorable. The staff are so kinda and welcoming and it is so clean! We stayed in a king room that was overlooking the bay…it was so beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend. 😊

The good: excellent location, right near the Embarcadero and the Bay Bridge. Easy access to BART and MUNI.
The bad: customer service was atrocious by one staff member, who made the stay very uncomfortable. When presented with a problem, he was very unresponsive and accusatory back towards us. Unacceptable. For what it's worth, the hotel redeemed itself and better service was offered. However, no customer should have to experience anger and frustration of the staff pointed towards them. On top of it, rooms are not level which makes sleep difficult. The floor is slanted and after the initial charm, it is quite the nuisance.

A nice hotel in a beautiful location. It's an old building, which has its charm. No breakfast is available, but they do offer coffee and a cookie in the morning—but for $25, that's just not good. I'd look for something with a decent breakfast next time.

The location is excellent.
The reception is very kind and helpful.
The hotel provides free coffee, tea and pastries in the morning.
During my four nights stay, just one unfortunate incident was the elevator was out of order on the night before the thanksgiving day.
Apart, strongly recommend the hotel if you want to stay near the piers and bridges.

Good location, but quite small the room. Still value for money given the budget.

Totally convenient to make use of transportation . Close to ferry building that you are able to walk there in a few minutes. Safe and not much noise .

Great location. But the bed is super soft and the walls are so thin so you can hear everything! I do think it’s a good value if you’re a budget traveller as it’s right downtown and very clean and spacious.

Good food, but high prices. Very poor vegetarian selection. Though they were willing to customize any dish. Still, it is nice to occasionally see vegetarian options on a menu. Especially in California. Especially in San Francisco.

Visited One Market, party of four for 5:30 pm Thanksgiving seating. Bustling vibe in pleasing environment. The satisfaction ended there. Disappointing to say the least.
My $85 Turkey dinner served to me cold. Another of our party also received his turkey dinner cold. Solution was to quickly microwave the meals, and not prepare new plates...cheap way out. I could microwave my own turkey dinner at home. A third member of our party ordered the $85 scallop dish...and received three, yes THREE small scallops. Laughable. A requested diet coke never reached our table, and water service left our party of four thirsty.
We know Thanksgiving is busy, but if you are charging $85 a plate, along with another $20-30 in taxes and surcharges, you'd better get it right. Very disappointing mediocre meal. Definitely not worth the price. Go elsewhere
