I have been here many times and each time I have loved every visit. This last visit was not what I expected. We booked months in advance, we picked a semi ocean view and our main focus of the window was a rooftop. The room that we had this time was filthy. My rag was black by the time I got done dusting; there was dried white paint on the carpet and on the furniture this room looked as if it has not been used in months. They were always out of towels. We would hang up our towels and we would not get new ones to replace them I don’t know if we will be back.

Bates motel... Let's begin with valet parking $40 now on to a resort fee $40... Not even in the door and the lobby is nice leads to the elevator. But then you get off the elevator and it's a dump dirty and my room which doesn't even have a number. A cooler for our food not a refrigerator. We were told we a suite got 2 beds and a chair with a view of a brick wall. Not happy at all we were tricked by doing a timeshare there even the staff apologized that we had to stay in the hotel. Not even worth the $80 yet I had to pay $150 for the night. Total loss no a/c on our room, or food we brought went bad. Should have been told it was being remodeled.

The hotel was under construction during our stay, which was already a bit inconvenient. While the lobby appeared modern and nicely renovated, the condition of the rooms was extremely disappointing. “Dirty” is truly the only way to describe them. I even saw a roach crawling on the floor. The carpet was heavily stained and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.
The hallways weren’t any better — the carpets there were filthy, smelly, and full of stains. The ice machine bin, where ice is dispensed, looked disgusting and appeared as though it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The bathrooms in our room were also unkempt and poorly maintained.

The only redeeming aspects of this resort were the outdoor pool area and the beach, both of which were quite nice, and the only reasons I gave this hotel 2 stars instead of 1. I was completely disappointed with this stay, especially for a family vacation. I informed the hotel staff about the roach, and all I received was a simple apology no further action or concern.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

It brings me great sadness to leave this review as my family and I have been coming here for over 20 years. I have fond memories of this location but the management/rule changes over the past few years has left me speechless. Here’s my list
1. Room cleanings come with a charge now?
2. The pool was closed and being renovated, but as the weekend rolled around it somehow became usable enough for the weekend crowds.
3. There were no pool toys allowed because the renovations were not complete and the “engineer” said the toys would affect the integrity of the parts that weren’t finished? (Why is the pool open if it’s not fully fixed??? $$$)
4. The people working here are nice but they just deflect responsibility to an imaginary third party and expect us to be satisfied with it.

I personally didn’t have an issue with the amenities or prices due to us being in one of the nicer suites, but as someone who has been coming to this hotel since the hotel was the biggest one in the strip to now, I would advise anyone looking, to look elsewhere. Granted if you’re coming here because it is the cheapest now, then just expect that when you arrive. And for the icing on the cake just read the other reviews, their response is literally cookie cutter. They don’t care :(

The place is a dump.

The hotel/pool is under renovation yet they offer no compensation or extras for the inconvenience. You’re still forced to pay their resort fee and get none of the perks. The front staff are cold and miserable, could you at least look half alive? The room cleaning? Don’t even think about it. They come in and bring you fresh towels, so at least be thankful for that I guess. The rooms are dated and disgusting, the shower is awful and difficult to use. The only good thing about this place is the prime location and beach access but you can get that elsewhere and you definitely should. Definitely will not be coming back.

This hotel is the worst I’ve ever stayed in. There were bugs in our rooms. The sheets had black hairs everywhere. If you want housekeeping you will be charged every day. We got charged for resort fees yet the pool and beach was under construction and we couldn’t use the facility. The restaurant shuts down at 10 pm. There was no lights in one of our rooms as all the light bulbs were blown out. The hallway floors were filthy and trash was overflowing in garbage cans by the elevators. Beware of this property!!!! Do not stay here
