Reviews
Room readiness: The microwave clock hadn’t been updated since Daylight Savings Time ended (four weeks prior to my arrival), and the desk clock was unplugged. A quick room‑readiness checklist could help ensure these details are caught before guests arrive.
Equipment functionality: The coffee maker wasn’t working and needed replacement. Routine testing of in‑room appliances would help avoid this.
Phone support: The “care line” was inconsistently answered, and the “Bellman” line was never answered. Ensuring these lines are staffed or properly forwarded would improve the guest experience.
Housekeeping quality: A tissue blob stuck to the bathroom doorframe and the balcony debris suggest the room wasn’t inspected thoroughly. A final walkthrough before releasing a room could prevent issues like these.
I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps improve operations. The property is in a great location, and the front desk support was generally very good. With more consistent housekeeping, better room checks, and reliable phone support, future guests could have a much smoother stay.
They gave me super early check in - I arrived at 7am and got a room right away - which I appreciate immensely and is very unusual for a hotel 🏆
Beach is beautiful but arrive early. I got a chair easily at 9:30a but by 10:30a there was a line well over 1 hour waiting time.
I went to the front desk asked to change the room. The room was ok, a bit dated.
Next morning, I realized I forgot my toothpaste, called the front desk several times. No one picked up the phone. Finally, after several attempts, the receptionist picked up the phone. I’ve asked for the toothpaste. Was waiting for 40 mins.
At the checkout, I’ve expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction with front desk service. The receptionist did not apologized, stating she was busy registering the new guests. I suggested she get help at the front desk, she said there is no need. She was having an attitude which is not acceptable. I’ve asked for the manager, she said that management doesn’t come before 10am!!!??? It looks like receptionist was doing whatever she wanted without any supervision.
I’m very disappointed. Hilton used to be a very nice hotel.
Ive read few comments, it looks like this is a big issue at this location.
I hope Hilton management will take action towards improving the front desk service and cleanliness of the hotel.
The restaurant…we arrived at 3pm for check in after going 24 hours without sleep. We just wanted to check in, grab a good meal and lay down. Our order was a burger, on extra lettuce no bun, fries, a pizza, and clam chowder, with a beer and Mojito. I had one bite of the burger and a fry and was disgusted by the taste. Same with the pizza. It was like the frozen food served in an elementary cafeteria. Although I do recall our pizza and fries being better than this. The mojito had to have been made with rum from the lowest shelf because it made me gag. I couldn’t finish that either. $123.00 and I had to go to my room to order door dash at another $45. When I complained to the manager on duty she simply said, “we don’t manage the restaurant.”
The room we had was old, really really old. The grout in the bathroom was discolored from not being cleaned, the shower chair for accessibility needs was leaning (!!!) they don’t have an entertainment system with streaming options, the tea bags in the coffee area looked like they had been in the bottom of grandma’s purse for 20 years, and the shower was out of shower gel. The cleaning service was substandard and they never seemed to have the supplies they needed (no fault of theirs obviously). And, the refrigerator in our room was not working. The coffee in the room was horrible, and the 7-11 next door didn’t have coffee either.
I require an accessible room, but I do not use a wheelchair. When I asked the manager on duty if there was a room, perhaps under some type of maintenance, that they could borrow a chair from she said no and that they could not just change furniture. So, the entire stay, we only had patio furniture and a desk chair my husband used to work.
The pillows went flat but the bed was comfortable.
For the price we paid per night, I would have rather stayed in one of the smaller motel-like accommodations along the blvd.
My room was spacious, modern, and had a beautiful view of the water perfect for relaxing after a long day. The pool area was stunning, with plenty of seating and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The restaurant and bar were great too delicious food and friendly service every time.
