New Orleans, 509 Decatur St. (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great hotel and very nice staff.
This is truly a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Everything about our stay was wonderful from the moment we arrived. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax after exploring the city.
What really stood out to us, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The two ladies at the reception...
We will absolutely be staying here every time we visit! The location is great, the room was perfect and always kept clean and the gals at the front desk were SO good to us. They made us feel at home away from home and were always so accommodating of everything we needed! The bellmen took care of us and were all 3 very helpful gentleman as well. The courtyard is gorgeous and the quaint saltwater pool...
French Market Inn is a great hotel, perfectly located — close to everything, yet far enough from the loudness of Bourbon Street to enjoy some peace and quiet.
The service is very attentive, helpful, and truly on top of everything. The courtyard between the buildings creates a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes the stay even more special. Plus, having a coffee shop next door is incredibly convenient....
We recently stayed at the French Market Inn and loved it! A charming hotel in the French Quarter within walking distance to everything which was important to us as we were traveling with a toddler. As much as we loved the hotel itself, the incredibly friendly and helpful staff is what really makes this place extra special! My 2 yo grandson excitedly ran to the lobby everyday to see his friends who...
We had a wonderful time here! The staff were all amazing and so friendly. We arrived on an early flight, and the staff were able to get us into a room long before check-in. The location is ideal for the french market, and isn't on a street that gets crazy and loud. It's only two blocks from Royal and Bourbon streets, and right down the road from Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde. Our room was unique...

Leslie and the team was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Boutique hotel with nostalgic nawlins vibe and within walking distance to most attractions in downtown. Rooms were comfortable and the value met expectations.
Kerry took care of us at the front desk, and let me tell you, this man was the most professional and kind mannered person I’ve come across in a while. Absolutely no complaints. Beautiful stay. Great atmosphere. Would 1000% return and recommend! Kerry, you’re the man!
Everything about our stay was perfect. Being from N.O.' s my wife and I have had the high end hotel experience but prefer the more quaint personal touch that this hotel offered. From the staff, location, room was charming and clean. We love this place and will be back.
I've stay at Hilton all the time and I'm a Gold member. This is the first Hilton that just did not feel inviting. The front desk staff was good. It was the hotel it self I had a three night stay. because I had to change my reservation in order for me to get a one night free reward stay I ended up having two reservations. The first reservation gave me an upgrade room, but the two other nights had to...

The staff was super lovely. The valet parking was convenient, but for the price we pay, it should've been included. I went down for extra towels at midnight, and they didn't have any which was inconvenient. While it was a lovely vibe, I wasn't blown away by it.

Fab hotel. Great location, lovely modern spacious rooms and fantastic staff - those at reception and at the bar were awesome. Lovely courtyard to sit in when the weather’s good and you can walk from the hotel to nearly everywhere you want to go. The king beds are big and comfy. Couldn’t fault it. We cancelled the hotel we had booked for the second part of our stay in NOLA and rebooked at this hotel...
Exceptionally clean. Wonderfully friendly and helpful. Perfectly located. Highly recommended.
Everything was nice about the room. Very clean. The restaurant there was absolutely amazing. The food was perfect. The girls were very professional and lovely to talk to. Thank you.
Good rooms, awesome food, courteous staff… altogether a very comfortable and pleasant stay
Very expensive and hoity toity but if you can afford it then it’s worth it. I had trouble ordering room service and getting ahold of the front desk by phone.
The pictures used that represented the room when reserving was much bigger with more seating. The room had a table and one chair for 2 people while the bathroom had NO space to put anything.
Staff who received us was in no way friendly and did not give us any info regarding the wifi. This property also lacked no communication either when emailing for more information.
Nice, clean space but it would...

I initially booked this hotel for four nights, and added a fifth to extend my stay in New Orleans. It's a good location, St Charles streetcar is right out front. It's a 30-minute walk to the Quarter, next to a great New Orleans style restaurants on the corner, and next to a Popeyes and Wendy's on the next two corners. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with anything I needed. The parking...
This boutique hotel was the perfect spot for our girls week in New Orleans. It was centrally located for sight seeing and the staff/security team was super helpful and friendly. Our 2 Queen beds on first floor room was clean and cozy. The weather was hot, humid and rainy so I really appreciated the air-con with fan option to undamp our clothes/shoes. Morning breakfast had great choices to get us fed...
At about 3pm, we were finally able to check-in at Maison Saint Charles Hotel New Orleans ($110 SGD for the night). At the lobby of the hotel, you’ll be able to replenish on water, tea and coffee.
The room itself was spacious and TV had most of the favourite channels – especially HGTV and History Channel for pickers. The only downside in the room was that the hot water was more like warm water. Since...
Rooms old fashioned smells bad
not much choice there but it's okay
The hotel is located between the business district and the garden district, slightly away from the French business district. It is a garden-style hotel with good parking spaces, suitable for families and children. There is a microwave in the room which is more convenient, but there is no kettle to boil water. The staff are all black and very welcoming. The bed is extremely high after adding a mattress...

The room was great. It was really interesting to stay in an old sugar factory. It was really cold and when we were there and the heat hard a time keeping up with 74. Other than the lack of heat everything was awesome. We were told they could have brought in a portable heater if we staying another day. This hotel was great.
The room was clean. The staff was friendly. I love the architecture and decor in the hotel. The location is amazing! There did seem to be some service issues - maybe they were short-staffed. There was a housekeeping cart in the hallway most of the first day we were there. Seemed like it was for self-service....in case we needed something. Nobody came to our room to clean it or change out the...
BRAVO!! The Hotel was nicely appointed, and the finishes top notch. Heated pool turned out to be a real bonus for our group. Overall vibe was excellent, and we will be recommending this spot to our friends and colleagues. Special shout out to the incredible staff, the entire Team went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Thank you Victor, Steven, Melissa, Steve, Joel and GM-...
The breakfast food was sufficient to take the edge off hunger, fresh, good coffee, what was needed for people who will be eating all day.
The Balcony was ery pleasant at night
my room was very nice. Th shower gel comtainer was completely empty.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Room and build were very clean.
Only issue were other guests. The person above us walked heavily and someone’s tv was extremely loud. It didn’t last long so we didn’t contact the front desk.
Loved the overall stay, great hotel and location. Will recommend.
Perfect location, clean, comfortable, and great for our first NO experience. Close to most things you’d like to see, do, eat, explore. My only complaint is the breakfast as it could have had more variety for GF/DF folks… but after such rich Cajun/Creole lunches and dinners, we truly weren’t that hungry in the mornings anyway. Thank you!

Staff great. Room was nice (though I would have liked a dresser, even if it was small. Not crazy about living out of my luggage, especailly given the bathroom was so large. I realize old buildings have restrictions).
Perfect locaton, great check in experience. I would hightly recommed the hotel.
Everything was thought out- the service, the staff, the interiors, the finishing touches. Everything! You couldn’t turn a corner and not be inspired. Wow wow wow
Room was gorgeous and so clean! Hotel is immaculately designed and love all of the attention to details. The Elysian bar had great drinks when we went down for a nightcap and a great breakfast the next morning as well. Highly recommend!
One of the best boutique hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time - a highlight of my stay in New Orleans
The staff were very polite and courteous. The grounds were spotless and well-maintained. The building was very clean. Each room in the hotel was very unique, well kept and beautiful. Our room itself was stunning. We will definitely visit this site again and would highly recommend it for others.
Amazing Hotel! Highly recommend! This hotel is quiet and peaceful, about 15 minutes from noisy French Quarter. Very tastefully decorated with a luxury feel. I would definitely stay again!

We loved it! Parking was easy, the front desk was amazingly helpful and the superior room was clean and comfortable! Great price. Great staff and great area! Will definitely come back!
William and Sonya were incredibly friendly and helpful in making sure we got there when a parade was coming through. Super easy check in with very friendly service.
Loved the hotel. Very convenient to everything in the French Quarter. The two bars were fun and just awesome. Close to the action but far enough to be quiet.
The Hotel Mazarin is well located for visitors to the city of New Orleans. The rooms are lovely and the courtyard is very pleasant. Our group enjoyed breakfast here and found it very well priced. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Will was exceptionally helpful! A lovely experience!
Everything wonderful except for the bar. It’s a wine bar and we didn’t drink wine so maybe that’s why we were treated like we really weren’t there.
The Hotel is wonderful just skip the bar.

Front desk lady was not at all welcoming! Breakfast menu was very limited and not much vegetarian options
The front desk people were very courteous and extremely accommodating. However, the morning the day we left, the housekeeper lady, knocked on the door and spoke very rudely to us. We have stayed at this place many times and everytime we go to New Orleans. We will continue going there.
Clean rooms parking was great. Breakfast was good. Coffee was OK. Staff was great.
Every one was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We did struggle a little with the air conditioning ( sometimes too warm sometimes too chilly). Parking was easy. We had stayed here before as the hotel is just a few blocks from our daughter’s house.
Wonderful property , right in front of hotel goes the tram
Line which is very convenient .
Loved this hotel! The location (gorgeous!), food options (Superior Grill next door), room amenities, layout and how well-cared for everything was. Super friendly front desk personnel, too.

Location is ideal for convention center. Nice to be able to walk to convention center and outlet mall. Rooms are roomier than I expected with a comfortable couch for a hotel room. Valve to change from tub to...
We enjoyed our stay here during Xmas break. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and with a character. No chemical smells. Good shower water pressure at high floors. You have all the basics you would need. Decent breakfast. Good location in terms of distance to downtown and streetcar stops. There is a paid parking lot (Piccolo Lot, $25 overnight) 1 min away if you want to arrange parking yourself
I had a pretty great stay here. My wife and I were in New Orleans for a convention right around the corner from the mercantile. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location can't be helped. There are some upsides to being close to everything. But I only did it because I had to - I simply prefer hotels away from the busyness of the party. Random sirens at 2am isn't a fun time. The room...
The Mercantile is the perfect hotel to stay at while visiting the Big Easy. This hotel is conveniently located to both the convention center as well as Bourbon Street. The Mercantile was the perfect place for us to stay. We only had a short visit as I was visiting a friend in Texas. We drove to New Orleans before I had to go back to Vancouver, Canada. Perfect location in the heart of the French Quarter
Room 216 should not be considered “deluxe” under any circumstances. Mattresses are in dire need of replacement. Bathroom too small. Seating area too small and only 1 chair. I have stayed in other rooms in the past in this same hotel several times with complete satisfaction. This stay was disappointing.
This is by far my favorite "home base" for visiting the Quarter - location is wonderful, ambience is incredible (better than many, many more pricey options) and the staff always welcoming. Patrice was absolutely fantastic, and the bellman who helped with our luggage was prompt and kind. Great visit, as usual - I'll keep booking you for every stay in NOLA!
The hotel had the following:
Clean rooms
Nice pool and courtyard areas
Coffee ready every morning
Very attentive and friendly staff
No bar
No restaurant
Great location to Jackson square
Quiet relative to anything nearby
Pillows were a little chunky
Valet parking was easy - 42.00 per night
Shower was nice - rainfall head and very large
Mini fridge in the room
We stayed at Place d’Armes on our drive back from a cruise and it was exactly what we wanted in the French Quarter: beautiful, historic, quiet, and perfectly located.

Great hotel
Any easy walk to the street car, bus, and French Quarter
In this price range, considering that I am in the United States, I have lowered my expectations as much as possible, so it is not as bad as I thought. Although the room is not big, it is enough and the soundproofing is OK. The main problem is that the facilities are old and many handles are broken. I really love how beautiful and clean the hotel was! I know some people mentioned room service had skipped cleaning their rooms while we were waiting at the desk to get a room (multiple people). We tried it out because we were tired and the service was really nice. I like the painting and aesthetic a lot. My car felt safe here too. I would probably come back if I end up back in town.
I was pleasantly surprised. This is my first time in New Orleans but the reviews did not lie. The rooms were clean and beds. The only con was hearing the drunk people coming from their cars looking for their rooms or accidentally setting their car alarms off…I also did not like the fact I had to call down and get more towels and our room wasn’t serviced the whole time we were here. I would stay here...
I rated four stars for the value. It is surprisingly descent breakfast better than what they say on their website. The vibe is European. Lots of artwork. Nice touch. Very well decorated. One thing I did not like, I can smell pot from people smoking by the parking the moment we arrived. Keep your room tightly closed. Somehow It still goes through the door. Bathroom is big.
Service was amazing. Let us keep luggage there til we could check in. Was always happy to assist when we needed

The Natchez was the best lodging for our group. We had three couples so we each had a bedroom and bathroom. We were in room 2204, we had a nice gathering area in the kitchen. Our private outdoor hot tub area was perfect for our evenings. It was the perfect location to reach restaurants, the river, the streetcar stop.
Booked two suites across from each other for my bachelor party and it couldn't have been more perfect! We loved having the hot tub so accessible and all amenities were modern and updated. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!! The only complaint I have is that the rental does not have parking for you. You have to find somewhere to park. We paid 57.00 a night for parking. Just a heads up so you will know before you arrive.
