Service is subpar with a lack of general hospitality engagement from behind the desk. No smiles or courtesy greetings from staff. They were more engaged with each other than their guests. "Jeff" was good but can't say the same for the other times. Rooms were decent but looked abused with dented furniture, chipped tables, broken lamp shades and some minor stains. Not what I expected for Marriott...
Staff helpful and friendly. Swimming on the rooftop in December was my child’s favorite part of the trip!
Staff was lovely. The hotel rooms are clean but very dated. It felt like we were in a La Quinta Inn inside the room. It was not what we were expecting.
Manager Corey did a superb job helping us with additional items needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is conveniently located in an area of shops and restaurants and the staff are very helpful.
All the staff were amazing and very eager to address any issues I had. But the hotel is definitely need a way cosmetic upgrade. The furniture and carpeting in the lobby are really worn and dirty. The rooms are OK, but same issues. I’m sure it’s a popular hotel and gets a lot of usage and just needs to be refreshed! Great location!
The staff was so helpful and accommodating! The location was perfect! We were able to catch the famous Krewe of Halloween parade right outside the hotel. I’ll definitely be back!

You are charged a surprise Resort fee daily and housekeeper does not clean when you ask. The newest supervisor is extremely rude and condescending.
Centrally located hotel. A bit dated, but still clean and comfortable. A large room with a TV and USB ports for charging my phone, and a spacious bathroom with a shower in the bathtub and toiletries. The reception staff were friendly. I received vouchers for complimentary drinks in the hotel shop. Unfortunately, I was charged tax again upon check-out. However, after contacting Trip.com, this should...
It's a rather old hotel, but it's right next to the famous Luke. It's about a 20-minute walk from attractions like the French Quarter. For the price, it's decent.
The accommodations were great, and the staff were pleasant! Best of all, the location was fantastic. The tram was close by, and it was centrally located, so I could walk everywhere.
The hotel has a great lobby but the room and bathroom is old. The water heater doesn't seem to work properly, and I had to have several cold showers. The water in the room is also not free. The elevators also didnt work well. For some reason you couldn't get to the gym level in one of the elevators. It couldn't really compare with the hotel down the street that I stayed at the night before (Hotel...
The stay was decent. The tile was busted in the entrance of our room so we wore footwear to make sure we didn't cut our feet. When our room was cleaned the cleaning lady threw away our souvenir cups which was disappointing and we still haven't received our deposit back yet.

Spacious room, well facilitated kitchen
It was an excellent area . The rooms were clean ,the staff was great.
Very nice rooms with kitchen amenities. The courtyard and pool areas are great for relaxing outdoors and the business services room has a nice couch and TV for watching sports. The proximity to the street car and the walking in the Garden District make this a really nice place to stay in New Orleans.
My stay at Club Wyndam Avenue Plaza, New Orleans was okay overall, but there were several issues that affected my experience. The staff from Club Wyndham pressured me multiple times to attend a 3-hour seminar, despite my clear refusal. They continued calling my room and cell phone multiple times, which felt intrusive and pushy. When I first entered the room, I discovered the toilet was stopped up...
Wherever they are parking the cars. This white liquid dripped on my car damaged the paint and tint on car and my back window.
3/10 Staff Needs More Training It was not the worst but not good, either. 3/10 The front desk people charged me ten times what a normal hotel charges for incidentals that they held for over a week, which was unexpected, the amount was unreasonable and the length of the hold was unnecessary. Then they wanted to charge me a stupid amount for parking when we could easily just park on the street around...

The hotel is on the smaller side. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the French Quarter, which makes it relatively safe and quiet. The room decor is very charming and tasteful. There's also a communal lounge on the first floor with a great atmosphere. A grocery store is conveniently located a short walk from the entrance. New Orleans has a lot of hotels, but this one stands out.
Great swanky hotel. Such cool vibe and setup. You won’t be disappointed.
Clean room with good facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint is the thing walls between the rooms as the guest next door could be heard all night on one night.
The room was perfectly clean and unique. The decor was modern up-to-date, and perfectly unique. Love the ambience every single staff that greeted me were kind and friendly. Would recommend staying here anytime.
Second time staying. Love the rooms! But no amenities (toiletries etc). Room wasn’t cleaned properly, trash bin wasn’t emptied, robes not hung up, etc. Feel staff could use more training and improvement. Valet service also too slow. I received message to collect car in 12 minutes and when I went downstairs the valet hadn’t even left to get it so we ended up waiting close to 30 min. Also, charged for...

Everything was perfect! Super clean and bed was comfortable.
I really liked the Hotel and the staff was excellent!good location for walking to French quarter.I raved to family about how nice the hotel was and my experience .
The hotel is recently renovated, so everything is relatively new. Booked a corner suite which was more expensive then regular to have more space and better view. I guess many hotel chains have the policy of giving worth rooms to guests that book through third parties like Trip.com. They gave me room on the fourth floor, so instead of nice cityview as was on the picture I got an ugly one to the construction...
It’s clean and tidy for this price. The lady at concierge was very nice and friendly. Will consider staying again next time when I’m in town.
This stuff is lovely. Help you with anything that you need to be help with.
The hotel service was really bad. I would not stay there again. I understand that in order to save resources, sheets may not be changed daily, but we at least expected someone to come in empty the trash bins and change the towels. We found out that they do not do that either. You have to request housekeeping service to come and get the trash daily, which was really odd.

Beautiful dining room for breakfast and coffee. Very friendly and eager staff from the front desk to the bell service and valet.
Didn’t have breakfast but the check in process was seamless and the bellman was so helpful
Lobby and amenities were very nice! Our room was nice! Our only complaint was that we couldn’t control the temperature in our room. The front desk said they would send up a maintenance person, but no one ever came. I’ve been wanting to stay here for 30 years. I finally had a chance, and my wife and I couldn’t lower the temp of our room. I told the front desk when I checked out, and all they said was...
Nice hotel but check in isn’t till 4pm but when I went for room it wasn’t ready Couldn’t get in till 5, we had made plans to meet some friends after we rested a bit but it didn’t happen We were offered 2 bottles of water Not even a late checkout 😞
This is my 4th time staying here and I love it. Easy access to Dome to burban st and French quarter
Went to breakfast where we were seated and ignored while staff waited on everyone around us, even people that came in after us, for 15 minutes, so we got up and left. Worst service I have ever seen

Solid, but not spectacular. Great location in the heart of the French Quarter. Food was ok (at the hotel), I suggest venturing out for food. Very cool hotel bar. Nice, chill vibe with a great variety of drink options. The water pressure is not great (and by not great I mean barely passable for a shower), the Wi-Fi was awful, limited in-room entertainment options.
Great hotel in good location in the heart of the French Quarter.
It is a cute hotel. I can tell it was upgraded. The location and convenience of a bar and kitchen is top tier. Thanks again!
After a little messing around with the room we booked (noisy due to close by building work), the hotel was excellent. No issues moving room
Awesome location, comfortable rooms and great amenities.
Over priced. The parking charge is high. The shower is weak.

The room was spotless, Could use a few more electrical outlets near the bed. the staff was professional and kind.
The hotel itself was fine, but there were several issues. A $30 per day resort fee was charged and not disclosed in advance, and it provided no additional services. Valet parking charged $60 but never delivered my truck, claiming they were short-staffed. I was told to walk two blocks to a public parking lot, which I did while carrying my bags. I called the hotel three times and was told a one-day credit...
The hotel was decorated for Christmas and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend and stay there again.
Spotless, spacious rooom. Great lounging areas with many places to relax and kick back with a drink. A lively bar scene at the hotel bar.
Hotel is nice and convenient. Parking probably same as all the hotels…expensive. Was charged even more for a F150 consider oversized? Almost $70 a day. There are a lot of surface lots very close and saw you can get day passes for about half the cost of valet’s price…the lots were maybe half full the whole time we were there. Overall I’d stay at hotel again, rooms a little small but it was very quiet...
Beautiful charming hotel in a great location. Elise at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind, helping navigate extended stays on 3 rooms for our family. Only downside is if you are on the first floor, they blasted the music from the bar until 2:30 am making it impossible to sleep.

Very close to Bourbon Street and nearby shops. Quiet area. Free coffee. Helpful staff.
The room was clean and neat, great it has a bathtub. Meet the expectation but the hotel is too far away from the metro station. That’s fine if you are a beach-goer, but not recommended if you like to explore the city. Also there’s little groceries nearby.
The location is relatively safe, but the facilities are average.
A very nice hotel in a fantastic location, just steps from Bourbon Street and the lively atmosphere, yet still peaceful. The only downside: the room had no view (the window overlooked the corridor).
It's good because it's close to downtown. The room is clean and nice, but the elevator is a bit noisy. There's a window, but there's no view at all.
The location of the hotel is OK, close to Pompeii Street in France. The breakfast in the hotel is very ordinary and very simple. The lighting is dim and the setting is also old. The street restaurant outside the hotel is still worth recommending. You must try the oysters. The Mexican food is not bad either. Amazing accommodations for the French quarter. Safe and convenient and walkable. Friendly and amazing staff and the restaurant and bar are top notch
Great location from which to explore the French Quarter. Very clean hotel. Nice rooms. Beautiful courtyard.
The staff was delightful and incredibly helpful, especially Molly. The beds were very comfortable and had the best pillows I have ever encountered in a hotel. The gardens and pool were beautiful, although the pool was on the cold side. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that the new paint wasn't sticking to the old paint in the bathroom and was bubbling up. An honor library book shelf would have...
The location of this hotel, in the French Quarter , is ideal. Its very easy to walk to tourist sites or pickup locations. The hotel is very clean. There is no elevator so if you are staying here with heavy luggage request a room downstairs.

The room isn't big, but it's very stylish. The location is also good, not far from the train station, making it convenient to get anywhere. I'm not sure why the deposit wasn't automatically released after check-out.
The hotel is had a jazzy vibe with lots of references to musicians. The rooms are clean, yet somewhat quite nosy with little windows insolation. The staff is friendly and a special shout-out to the bartenders, especially to John.
Awesome customer service hands down. Even gave complementary wine
Good hotel overall with a busy bar. No proper insulation sadly and the ac is hit or miss
Front desk staff was friendly. Valet cost the same as a nearby parking lot cost. Room was small but comfortable. Easy walk to French Quarter, Cafe Du Monde and Super Dome. Only negative, is that the street outside our room was very noisy- stay on a higher floor if possible. We were on the 2nd floor.

This was my first time ever visiting New Orleans and the welcome I received from Sharon; I knew my visit was going to be great! She was very friendly and welcoming! The hotel was simply amazing! I have wonderful memories of my stay in Louisville. A gorgeous new hotel with large, cozy, and stylish rooms, cleanliness, soundproofing, and everything was top-notch. Lighting in the room and lobby not sufficient. Lobby did not have hot water and microwave that are typical amenities at Marriot properties. Decor of common lobby bathroom was very dark - dim lights could make seeing very challenging Room door was very hard to open and close.
The room was clean, the location was excellent, the staff was friendly. Only issue was the bathroom, there was no exhaust vent. After you showered you had to wait for the room to cool off and take the humidity with it, so you could see the mirror etc. Also, the toilet ran constantly. The staff could not have been more accomodating. The property was great and great location. Very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.
The staff was friendly and nice. The room was clean but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Our stay was okay, nothing to write home about. For the price it was decent.
Room was very dark. Do not believe the photos on the website. Staff gave me in two extra lights. Hotel is just basic. Not luxury as advertised. Would give it two stars but since the staff was nice I gave 3. Was in the biggest room, windows face inside the building, so you are seeing other windows.

Had a great stay! The hotel was spacious and quiet. We also loved the restaurant for breakfast. There was also a close Irish bar on the corner that was a convenient distance.
I loved the proximity to the French Quarter. Next time I would get a balcony room or one with a window that opens.
Great staff but hotel needs some cosmetic updating overall. Looking a little rundown. Got a corner suite upgrade after heater was stuck on in our first room. No bar or restaurant but they do put out water all day and coffee in the morning.
The staff was great. The room didn't have a microwave. The sink didn’t drain properly, water would fill up in the sink. The lighting was terrible. Neither Valet or hotel staff knew if first responders received a reduced rate for parking.
Staff was incredibly helpful and kind! Room was very quiet but a bit dated. Location was incredibly convenient as it is central in the French Quarter, and I was very quiet given this. The pool did not look nearly as blue and clean as in the photos so did not use it, though others did. Room was nice but outdated. Air conditioning was almost non existent. Customer service is good when you first arrive, but changes when you’re there for a few days. Room and overall decor of the hotel were lovely. Location is very convenient, close enough to all the sites but not so close as to be bothered by the partying when you want to relax. la Belle Maison has a good location in the French Quarter. It was a second time staying there.
