Holiday Inn -Town Lake, an IHG Hotel1 / 28

Austin, 20 North IH-35 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Great location, but rooms felt a bit gloomy The hotel is in a really convenient spot — right by the lake and close to downtown, which made it easy to get around and explore Austin. That said, the room we had was a bit of a letdown. It was pretty small and didn’t get much natural light, so it felt kind of dark and cramped. Not terrible, but not the most comfortable for hanging out. Still, if you're...
Clean rooms and comfortable stay. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good and fairly priced. They have a shuttle bus if you need to go somewhere which is convenient. Pool was out of order for cleaning but not a big deal as there are plenty of places to swim in Austin.
Very friendly front desk and clean rooms even though the hotel is somewhat outdated
We had a wonderful stay. We stayed here for valentines day and my husband and I had a blast. It was very quite and very clean. Thank you for a wonderful and safe place to stay.
All good Good gym Location much closer to city center than expected. Its a 10 min pretty nice walk along the river. Food in the restaurant was very good. Service good. Stay here in again when I'm in Austin
The service was amazing. Great location as well, which made the trip even better!

The concierge was great and very friendly. However, the check in process was rather slow. Waited about 10 minutes before we could talk to a check in agent. Our keys never worked from day 1 and we had to go down to the lobby to get new keys made. The lobby has a small store for drinks, snacks, souvenirs, etc. Room was nice, clean, and updated. The hallways were extremely hot for some reason. The pool...
Very Nice conference meeting room. The hallway was clean, as we're the restrooms. All of the staff i encountered for my needs, had smiling faces, welcomed me and was respectful, friendly, and very eager to help in any way they were ask to help out. I haven't stayed a night yet, so I'm sorry for not having a report on the room's. However, I did pass thru the bar to get a drink for a friend and the bartender...
This hotel is perfect in every way! The people who work here are top notch all the way from the front desk to housekeeping. They never missed a beat! Everything I asked for was taken care of immediately. We ate breakfast and the food & service were fantastic. The hotel is very clean and conveniently located close to all that Austin has to offer. I can't say enough positive things about my experience...
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Excellent professionally managed hotel. Great for business visits. Efficient checking and out. Polite and courteous staff.
Only room used was conference room. Room is specious and adequate. Lights work fine. Floor carpet is well decorated. Plenty of seats available. Glass cups could use better wash or rinse.
You can really tell that this hotel goes the extra mile to make you comfortable. I was here on a work trip, and the staff treated myself and my coworkers very well. I love all the Christmas decor! I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Because it is located at the airport, it provides convenient accommodation for tourists arriving at night. The hotel provides tourists with various services in place. It is worth staying
A standard Hilton room with a bit more space. The free rides to and from the airport were convenient.
Stayed before our flight back from Austin. Free shuttle to and from airport which we used after returning the rental car and to get to the airport for the flight. Lovely hotel, staff were helpful and friendly. Used the pool at 7.30pm, it is quite shallow but was warm . Everything was clean, there was a fridge, coffee machine and bottled water in the room as well as usual things like hairdryer and...
big room.nice breakfast.excellent fitness center
Goo location front desk clerk was not the most welcoming
Friendly clean modern. Room was very pleasant. My only negative was the hours of cafe and bar. I couldn’t get a cup Of coffee at 10am. Plus couldn’t get wine at 10pm. I’m traveling far. Just saying. Maybe if ur going to close the cafe offer free coffee.

Breakfast changed every morning a little bit. The hotel is nicely furnished. The room was really spacious however the wall were rather thin. The shower missed an extra space to put my own products. The corners were a bit dust and a towel had a small make up stain.
We love our stay at this hotel. Very clean, convenient location, staff very friendly, good breakfast.
Front desk was very friendly and accommodating! Didn’t use any other facilities, but the rooms were clean and shower and beds were very nice! If you are looking for a hotel close to the bars and music this place is a great place to stay. Thank you staff for an amazing stay!
The staff at the property was very friendly and helpful to answer all my questions upon arrival. The hotel is situated in an excellent location to walk to many restaurants and the convention Center.
Only one elevator working Valet needs to get training they left my car in drive unattended thankfully it hit the sidewalk not anyone or anything bigger
During my check in I was having some difficulties and Emma came through and helped out. She was the absolute best, and was so patient and helpful.

Hotel was nice. Restaurants and bars in the hotel were convenient if a little pricey. Rooms were a little small but configured good with storage and dresser space. Shower door leaked a little and wish there was more towels. Otherwise pretty nice for the money.
Love the the room on a corner with awesome views and hotel it’s nicely located in downtown.
Property was very nice and easy to access anything I need to do. Staff was very nice and will definitely be coming back
Great stay if you wanna be around the corner from amazing restaurants and easy access to 6th street!
Highly Recommended Wonderful experience in downtown Austin. The hotel restaurants, bars, and coffee shop were on point.
Hotel was cozy and centralized. Parking options are scarce and overpriced which is expected for downtown but was annoyed more by The Aloft bar on the 2nd floor. I was charged 12$ for the jellyfish IPA while MENU price was 8$. I had quite a few & even though I was overcharged at the time of the bill, I sill tipped.

That's amazing! I really enjoy the saty. and recommend this hotel.
Staff was very friendly and updated our room to a suite free of charge. The room was clean and there are lots of great amenities close by including a theater and an awesome cafe/market around the corner. This was our second time staying here and both times we have been very happy.
We came here as a team for a baseball tournament and it was the perfect place for the kids to have some fun between game days at the pool, watch a movie out on the patio and even got to rent the media room for a Wii tournament!
Beautiful property in execellent location...
When we arrived we were greeted with a smile by the receptionist. I actually forgot if I had Marriott bonvoy membership and he was very patient and he asked me to slowly check cause he didn’t want me yo lose my points which I felt was very sweet. Breakfast was served by Francis and she took great care of us and was with a smile always
It was a very clean modern room and the front desk staff were great!

good location, pretty old and unclean, but worth price, no big expectations then youll be fine
Very central hotel which is a walking distance away from all attractions in the town. Room was alright for the price with smooth check in and check out
Very good location and very cheap for the area. Staff were very accommodating and even changed my room without issue which was very nice.
Cold water for shower. Now I am a believer in the Win Hof method but I choose when I want a cold shower. Ugh. Toilet ran & ran. Hard to get carts on elevator. Toilet bowl lid did not match toilet. Terrible breakfast. Unresponsive staff. You get what you pay for. At least we left our car at home. One good thing was close to Amtrak, King bed & low price.
This place is not really a hotel. It gives off more of a motel vibe. The building is heavily outdated, with crumbling walls and stains. Our room was average. Bed was comfortable and clean. Our room had a little bit of trash in it (candy wrappers, etc). The toilet did not flush for me and there was peeling wall paper in the bathroom. Shower temperature was poor and was only lukewarm at best. I most...

The facilities are relatively old
The hotel is okay for staying for a couple nights. There is a free parking.
It look like the carpets were not vacuumed underneath the beds, kinda dingy look
Clean pet friendly hotel. No breakfast. Great price. No complaints on my side at all.
Customer service was subpar. Kicked us out after they mistakenly booked us under age. Carla, the large heavyset woman at the counter, was one of the rudest people I've dealt with. Find a better place there's a bunch of hotels on this st. don't pick this one.

It was a quick trip to Austin. The service and everything was decent but upon departure, we were charged for a beverage we didn’t even touch. I called the hotel multiple times only for one of the front desk staff to tell me to call at 8 in the morning so I could speak with the General Manager. Next morning I called at 8, nobody picked up. The charge wasn’t much but this is just not right. You wouldn...
Exceptional service and perfect for business travelers!” I recently stayed here during my business trip, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From check-in to check-out, the staff was welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless, quiet, and had a great workspace with reliable Wi-Fi – which made getting work done a breeze. The bed was super comfortable (which is much needed...
I've stayed at this location many time for the better part of the year. My most recent stays have been frustrating with respect to housekeeping. Routinely the showers have a lot of built up mildew and twice I've gone to the local HEB to purchase a bleach-based spray cleaner to deal with the mildew myself. Twice now, the coffee cups are missing. A handle was missing on a dresser drawer. A luggage rack...
Nathanial welcomed us after a long trip. The room was clean and decent. Location right off 35. Upon checkout I met the most helpful and welcoming spirit in Justone. He was relatable and made each guest a priority. Great team you have there! The toilet has slight leak and I think construction may have back upped the lines. I was actually how impressed the site next to it was secured and clean (for a...

You get what you pay for. At least no bed bugs were found...or at least visable that is. The place is dingy. The towels smelled like smoke in the NON SMOKING room. The air conditioner was not working well the refrigerator was too cold. Sadly we found out the hard way when our sodas were African in the morning. The pool was the best part of the stay. I would sadly stay again for the price only. The...
Nice clean rooms. But the other guests ruined any good impression. Several set up chairs in the walkways and carried on late into the night, music blaring. Other rooms nearby were also loud. TVs and music thudding through the walls. Hotel staff seemed inexperienced or exhausted. Parking on the weekends was problematic. I understand some of these issues are outside of what La Quinta can control. But...
While the hotel is dated, the rooms are clean and well-maintained. This is the first LaQuinta I have stayed in that does not include a refrigerator in the room, but otherwise it is much as you would expect. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.
Good enough room for the price. AC is somewhat quiet, bed comfortable, big bathroom, nice TV with a good selection of channels. Wifi connection is stable and the speed is adequate. No fridge but a full ironing set. This room, 212 is in the back, seems quiet enough, cant really hear the interstate traffic. Front desk staff very professional, quick check in and even a phone call to my room to check...
The maids are so generous & clean the room for u everyday to their very best ability. The whole entire staff is pretty nice & stores are walking distance. Only thing is they dont come with microwaves or fridges & they only have drinking vending machines not food machines.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Clean room, comfortable bed, roomy shower, and free breakfast. Better than many of the other places we've stayed at recently. No complaints here!
When I first walked into the Quality Inn, it was quiet and felt a bit eerie. The room was old and outdated and smelled like smoke even though we requested a non smoking room. Our window did not have a screen on it and you could technically climb in or out which was not safe. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless it's a last minute resort
Great c lean hotel. Perfect proximity to the airport. Shuttle available as well as a grab and go breakfast in case your flight leaves before the nice, hot, breakfast options. Was under a remodel when I visited but they don't actually start working on it till 11 giving guests more than enough time to sleep in and then get ready! Look forward to revisiting and seeing new additions.
Location was very easy to find. Right off the freeway. Had a very nice swimming area and breakfast area. The meeting room my husband and I were in was appropriate for the amount of people that attended. Great place for small meetings.
We were evacuees from one of the counties the governor listed, that didn't have to pay taxes for the rooms, but they refused to remove the taxes. Said they couldn't find my county. Then we checked out earlier due to flooding in Austin and didn't want to be trapped away from home. They charged me for the extra night and additional 110 bucks. I've been calling trying to get my money back. Also if...
Great staff. Free airport shuttle was nice. Used the public transportation system to get around Austin. Wasn't bad since it was only $2.50 a day per person. The breakfast buffet was slightly different each day, which was nice. Pool didn't have towels for two of the three days we were there.

Very clean and staff was amazing , breakfast was same everyday, it was good but just same . Pool looked much larger in photos. Beds were comfortable, would have liked to have a tub with a young toddler. Again, the staff was excellent!
Clean, modern, comfortable. Excellent place and excellent service. Breakfast was delicious too!
Just Right I only needed a room for one night close to the airport. This was perfect. And because we stayed on the 4th of July, we were able to see some of rhe fireworks going off throughout the city.

Originally had a room on the third floor which had no ac in the hallway. Giant fans were running throughout the hallway. Per reviews two months ago this was an issue then also. I was told the ac couldn’t keep up with the heat; however, the rooms had ac. I had to ask for a room on the first floor instead. We weren’t warned by the front desk receptionist about this or offered a different room. We had...
Nice hotel and a good location, but I can’t understand why there was no air conditioning on the third floor where they placed us with a dog. Person at the desk wasn’t very welcoming, and obviously doesn’t understand the nuances of a service dog. Coworker Zowie was very nice. The second day. Breakfast was minimal. Pool and Jacuzzi were working, but we arrived to find a puddle of water underneath the...

i live about 30 miles north but stay in this hotel when i visit for a show. this place is stupid crazy close to (dirty) 6th st. i like this hotel because it is constantly perfect, affordable, and just a splash of retro. safe parking underneath. great pool and i enjoy waking up to have coffee on the patio. on a side note, i inadvertently booked a "cabin" room one time. it was super cheap, but...
Great for the price Super comfy bed so a great night’s sleep! Very Austin-y…almost feels like a converted dorm? Some of the bedrooms don’t have their own bathrooms, our room did but definitely felt like a college kid again. Super loud pool party for a few hours downstairs, which was not a problem. Parking was $34/night on site and gated, so it was a good value for downtown Austin.
Cool Austin vibe right off 6th st. Retro sexy room decor with cool 2nd story bar. Will definitely book again.
It was a cute hotel and affordable. The neighborhood was fun, lots to do. I wish it was a little more attention to detail would have given it another star.
East Austin Hotel has won my loyalty as my to go spot in Austin. The staff is truly hospitable, and amazing. Rooms never fail to be clean. Area is easy to navigate. Foodie destinations are sublime. I didn't recommend renting one of those e-bikes (they're expensive). . . which has nothing to do with the hotel.
Great place in a perfect location. We stayed on a Wednesday night so it wasn’t very busy. We shared the pool with only a few people and were warmly welcomed. The under ground parking was perfect to park off the street and the elevator went right to our floor. We had a poolside view which was nice later in the evening enjoying the outdoors.
