Fairmont Austin Gold Experience, Austin1 / 30
9.1
Austin, 101 Red River Street Fairmont Gold (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Everything was great- the gold experience was totally worth it. The private concierge, the breakfast and lounge access were fantastic. The room was very clean and pleasant. The spa was ok- nothing special in terms of the service quality.
My wife was at a conference and my wife was there all day by herself. The first full day she was at the pool and there was little service - no umbrellas put up, food was left by her chaise, had to ask where to get food, etc. Booked an all day spa experience and found it to be very crowded and dirty. Cleaning service was good after she called them.
If you've never stayed in a Fairmont Gold property you're missing out. It's basically a hotel within a hotel. You get your own dedicated check in desk with dedicated staff. You have a lounge to access with free beverages including an honor bar system where you can make your own drinks. You get breakfast and snacks included too. I had a king room with a city view. There is a lot of construction...
As always, I enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont Gold level. The staff are all so wonderful and welcoming. My number one place to stay in Austin!
We had a great stay here the first time about a month ago, this time was a little disappointing. Excluding the bartender Austin at Rules and Regs, and excluding the check in staff at the Gold Lounge, the service everywhere else was not great. The lobby bartenders/servers and the lady at Good Times was really not warm, welcoming or friendly at all. Almost like we were bothering them for being there...
Fairmont Gold We had a short but very sweet weekend in Austin, with the Fairmont as our home base. We did the gold package, and it was worth every penny! The staff was friendly, the Gold Lounge was stocked with great snacks and drinks, and the gym was very nice with a great mix of cardio and weight options. The bed was very comfortable, and overall it was truly a pleasurable stay.

Staff polite. Luis at checkout was fantastic. Room was quiet and comfortable. Very walkable to shops restaurants etc on 6th.
The location was great. The hotel and our room were very clean. All of the staff members were kind and helpful esp with recommendations for food.
This hotel was very clean and in a decent area. There were plenty of places to eat around the hotel and some bars. Staffing was perfect as well and I would definitely stay again.
The location is decent, but the rooms are rather old, and there's a large construction site downstairs that starts very early. Breakfast is expensive and has very little food; I wouldn't recommend ordering breakfast.
Watch out, if youre not a Hilton card member holder, they dont serve well. Only shampoo, conditioner and body wash they have at the bathroom, requested toothbrush at 8am and was told itll take 30mins as there was no housekeeping on duty. Also, we were stucked at the parking elevator as we head out.
Average, in line with expectations

I adore this hotel! One of the highlights from the beginning was the valet service—especially Holli! From the moment we arrived, Holli was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. She made check-in and check-out seamless and always greeted us with a smile. It’s clear she truly cares about providing great service, and it made a big difference in our overall experience. Thank you, Holli, for going...
We did our annual family staycation right before Christmas. Service was so helpful and welcoming. We checked in and started out night on the 5 floor rooftop with all their Christmas festivities then we walked to zilker for the trail of lights about a 35 minute walk but so doable! We had such a great time! Jason G helped us with our check out!! Highly recommend staying here
I recently stayed at the JW Marriott in downtown Austin for a week-long business trip and I have nothing but great things to say about the staff. I wish I had written down the names of all of the people who I interacted with, but I got a few down: the young lady (short hair and a hat) who served as valet, was patient and let me know I had a lower price alternative to parking valet. The young lady at...
This hotel maintains the high standards I know Marriott is known for. The location is central, the staff members are attentive and helpful. The restaurants are 5-star. The Steakhouse is one of the best in Austin and The Corner Restaurant was perfect for a great breakfast to start the day. There are two specific staff members who went above and beyond… Diem at the front desk and Alfredo in The Corner...
Wonderful stay at JW Marriott Austin for a conference. This hotel was gorgeous, comfortable, and had lots of amenities. The location is perfect, with easy access to 6th street and Congress. Lots of restaurant options nearby and in the hotel itself! I had the opportunity to experience the spa as well - wonderful experience - just what I needed! Special shout out to Jason at the bell desk - thanks...
We never saw the pool and forgot there was one. When we checked in they told us the type of room we had reserved wasn’t available. They gave us a lounge pass to make up for it, but the VIP lounge was never open for service when we would have liked it to be, and we were there with friends who didn’t have the same access. Other than that the hotel was wonderful, clean, inviting and convenient, if maybe...

This was our first time here but it won’t be the last. Our kids had a great time and we enjoyed the hotel which offers great and relaxing views.
We have a great stay for fall break. The food on the property was very good. It was quiet and clean an plenty to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. We did the nature trail, the putt putt, the pool, the bounce house. Loved it and will be back. Very pretty property
The staff were friendly and welcoming. All facilities were good especially the 2 on property golf courses.
The property is beautiful and it’s located in a beautiful area. You can sit on the patio in the lobby area and look at the beautiful landscape. Everyone is very friendly and they have many options for foods and coffee shop with great espresso. The actual room is pretty standard but it’s comfortable.
Liked the room, the views, the patio for drinks by the bar, food was good. Didn’t like how loud the lobby bar was- you could not hear the clerks at the desk. You had to shout. That’s not professional. Also didn’t like the tiny balcony outside the room- felt very unsafe and things could fall easily.
I really appreciated how quiet the room was. Did not hear folks as they walked up and down the hallway. It created a very peaceful environment. Maggie M.

We had such a great experience working with Johanna & Melanie to set up a courtesy block for our daughter’s wedding. They were patient in answering all our questions and made the process so effortless. The guests loved the spacious rooms and the convenient location. I highly recommend Hyatt Regency for your wedding guests or if you are traveling.
This is the good, reliable Hyatt I keep coming back to whenever I come to Austin. I love the location, which gives 1/3 of the rooms some incredible views of downtown Austin. The surrounding neighborhood is relatively quiet, great access to running trails, and you’re a short walk away from the heart of downtown. The rooms are totally adequate, but slightly outdated when compared to some of the newer...
Had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Austin. Our lake-view room was comfortable, clean, and offered beautiful views—definitely a highlight. The hotel sits just across the river from downtown, which makes walking to the main areas a bit less convenient, but still doable. Overall, big thumbs up… with one exception: parking. Charging $62 per night for self-parking feels unreasonable and definitely detracts...
This hotel is not only beautiful but the staff was amazing and thoughtful. Right from the start Pablo and Brooke at the front desk provided a great welcome to Austin after a long day of traveling. Our hotel room view was spectacular and everything felt so nice and clean. I was running out of toothpaste and the housekeeping staff noticed and got me a new one without even asking. I never had that happen...
The hotel has recently been renovated, and the property looks great. It still feels somewhat bare and without much identity, likely because finishing touches are still in progress (I hope). I was initially concerned about construction noise, but fortunately there was none during my stay. The main issue I had was communication. The phone system to reach the front desk from the room or from a mobile...
Parking at the hotel is expensive and there are no ther parking options nearby. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice and clean. Beautiful views of Lake Travis and downtown.

The front staff was super friendly. The guys at the restaurant were helpful with the menu options. Lots of food to choose from and the portions were huge! Starbucks is in the first floor. Check in and check out was a breeze.
Great Staff at front desk. Valet was ok, but the last day it took us more than 50 minutes to get our car back
The staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant downstairs had great food. Was fairly close for a scooter ride to ACL.
Wonderfully located for restaurants and events, the hotel was extremely clean, quiet, and great staff. Bathroom was clean and classy and decor was modern and tasteful. Bed was a little harder than I was used to, but for most people it probably would have been perfect. There was a restaurant and Starbucks on the premise, but since I was visiting family, I didn't get to check that out. Next door...

Elevators kept breaking; very dark in terms of lack of light in rooms and hallways. Older hotel that has minimum updates
Huge hotel but they managed to make you feel right at home. The only downside is that the pool is very cold, not heated as advertised. Pets stay free.
Room was stunning. Loved the hotel decor. Everything was super clean and I loved the stocked fridge with drinks and snacks. The only downsides were valet parking only option and the front desk staff that checked us in was not friendly. Otherwise great hotel
I always rent here with my adult daughter, this time we brought my son we wanted to show him the amazing hotel, but when we arrived the valet guy was very rude saying tal should invest in a suit case or two. Outstanding service and beautiful hotel. Every employee we had an interaction with was so customer service oriented. It was such an enjoyable experience! Truly unique!
Our stay this year at the Omni very good, several surprises diminished the experience somewhat. The good news: the restaurant, mediocre the last time we were at Omni a year ago, had delicious food, extremely fresh fruit, attentive and very prompt service, and room service* arrived on time for an early morning breakfast with yummy food. Our room was fine, clean, well appointed; the bathroom lovely....
It's a big hotel, so it operates like a big hotel. It's a bit dated though. I could only find 1 USB port in the whole room. But thier service was great

Entire Staff was awesome !!! And the restaurant food was fantastic!!! Location was good too. Highly recommend and will stay there again in the future .

Beautiful location and wonderful staff. Always a please staying at the Four Seasons properties.
Love this hotel! Have stayed numerous times for work trips and for leisure. Service is impeccable and the location is perfect. Rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice. The only thing that is somewhat subpar is the pool - it’s still great but not as nice as it could be especially when compared to so many other new hotels in downtown Austin. But the location and service help compensate for...
We came into town to visit friends who recently moved to Austin, we looked and liked the location of the Four Seasons, so made that our base. It was a great choice. The hotel is within easy walking distance to hip restaurants, breakfast places, and sixth street with all the live music. But if you decide you want to have a different kind of day, the hotel also sits on a lake where there are paddle boarders...
Fantastic overnight to celebrate our anniversary. Upgrade, champagne and help with difficult to get dinner reservations. Can’t say enough good things! Great location!
The hotel itself was gorgeous and the staff was extra friendly and helpful. The lake view rooms were nice with cozy beds. The welcome fruit and chocolates were a sweet little welcome gift. For $500/night I’d expect complimentary coffee and water at minimum and really should include breakfast. Even Comfort Inn offers free bottles of water these days, but this place has a smart water bottle in the room with a price tag of $5. Room was clean, bed was comfortable however the pillows were too thick. It would’ve been nice if there was another option. There could be a little more done to update the bathroom and fixtures, as well asclean up the ceiling in the room area as it looks, as if some of the ceiling was a little bit old and weathered but all in all it was a nice and safe place to stay.
The hotel was very clean and well kept, staff was very friendly and courteous, lobby was not overwhelmed with crowds of people, very quiet at night for both the inside and outside areas of the hotel. The pool amenity was a plus, even if you’re not going to swim, it’s such a nice place to relax and lay back, especially during the later hours into the night. Their restaurant menu is pretty good, could...
Lacked amenities. Everything was “out of order”. All 3 treadmills, all but 2 ice machines, 1 elevator, towels stained and frayed. Allowed smoking on a nonsmoking facility.
The area outside is sketchy with quite a few homeless under the bridges. Breakfast was too expensive for what you got (not free) but everything else about the property was spot on. Great pool and outside seating area and a real nice lounge/bar in the middle of the lobby. Was there for a wedding and it was perfect for our needs.
Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathrooms a little rundown. Staff and bartenders were excellent. Odd that the restaurant was never open for dinner but full menu was still served at the bar. Property around the area was a little sketchy.
I stayed here for 6 nights to attend SXSW. It was a very clean and well-maintained hotel. It was also easily accessible, about a 10-minute drive from the airport. I included breakfast, and it was a buffet for 3 days, and I had to order for the remaining 6 days. Is this a true American breakfast...?! It was so voluminous that I couldn't finish it, but the staff were very helpful and I was very satisfied

I didn't realize this hotel was against the party district. Upon arrival the front desk mentioned it was quieter on higher floors and upsaled us $30 a night for the quiet. However, even from the 15th floor the building vibrated from the noise. It may have been quieter on other side but was told moving wasn't a good idea as they had construction on that side. Small but comfortable room. There is street noise through the night, so be aware if you are a light sleeper. The bathroom looks very modern but had some impracticalities and the shower leaked water outside on the tile… so extra mats would have been useful.
