Everything was great- the gold experience was totally worth it. The private concierge, the breakfast and lounge access were fantastic. The room was very clean and pleasant. The spa was ok- nothing special in terms of the service quality.

My wife was at a conference and my wife was there all day by herself. The first full day she was at the pool and there was little service - no umbrellas put up, food was left by her chaise, had to ask where to get food, etc. Booked an all day spa experience and found it to be very crowded and dirty. Cleaning service was good after she called them.

If you've never stayed in a Fairmont Gold property you're missing out. It's basically a hotel within a hotel. You get your own dedicated check in desk with dedicated staff. You have a lounge to access with free beverages including an honor bar system where you can make your own drinks. You get breakfast and snacks included too. I had a king room with a city view. We had a great stay here the first time about a month ago, this time was a little disappointing. Excluding the bartender Austin at Rules and Regs, and excluding the check in staff at the Gold Lounge, the service everywhere else was not great. Fairmont Gold We had a short but very sweet weekend in Austin, with the Fairmont as our home base. We did the gold package, and it was worth every penny! The staff was friendly, the Gold Lounge was stocked with great snacks and drinks, and the gym was very nice with a great mix of cardio and weight options. Clean, comfortable and very good looking room. The quality of the hotel was also very nice. It was convenient to go for a steak dinner within walking distance, walk to our venue at Antone’s for a great show and walk back to the hotel to end the night.

Pool was very cold and not very clean, the pool deck had rusted metal fragments everywhere. The beds were not comfortable, with very flat pillows and thin blankets only.

The location is excellent, close to the passenger terminal. There's a shuttle bus to the hotel, which is great for those arriving late at night. The hotel is quite large, with a restaurant right below the rooms, but breakfast is an extra charge.

Great hotel. We just had a recent visit and all went well. Only down fall is now they charge for parking which they do not last time. $25 a night. I feel like they charge enough to not have to charge for parking.

This hotel was so really. Check-in we were offered water and root beer. The fire pits were going which was perfect as the first cold night came in the night before. There were s’more kits available too. The shopping area was convenient. The parking lot was lit and safe. Food truck available mornings and evenings. Would definitely recommend.

We adore this hotel and try to stay there whenever we are in Austin. It’s beautiful, they have well designed facilities and amenities throughout, it’s super clean and everyone is very nice. Both elevators broke down while I was there. The food was limited. It took like going through 4 rooms to find one that was good. 3 of them either had a TV that did not work, or the fridge did not work. The luggage cart was all bent up and barely rolled. Breakfast food was limited.

I stay here occasionally with friends and never had a problem with it until this time . I came by after work to collect my deposit and they said they kept it for "smoking in room". My friend can be seen multiple times on camera going outside to smoke and knows better than that, as for myself I don't smoke. So I basically got jacked by these guys for my deposit.

The elevators were very slow and took minutes to get to my floor. Our door looks like it was broken into in the past. It had chipped wood and it was a little deformed. The shower made a screeching noise constantly.
