The condition of the property was disappointing considering it was a Westin. Bed was very creaky, bathroom shower had a crack in the floor. Shower door broken so water leaked outside. Toilet was finicky to flush.

Perfect location to explore Austin. Heart of downtown walking distance to 6th St. We appreciated that there was entertainment/pool party at the hotel while we were there. The resort was just okay. Much needed renovation. The pictures in the hallways are so out of date. Hard to believe they still have them up. Pictures were from Jim Crow days. We went for Christmas and they were short of staff. Hospitality industry unacceptable.

I had my wedding reception here. Everything went really well. The event planners and managers were always on top of everything and everyone was very accommodating.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Amazing stay, comfortable atmosphere and always a small walking distance from a good place to grab a bite to eat. If I ever find myself in the city of Austin again, you best believe my stay is going to be at the Austin Proper.

Great food options and cool room. The pool was a bit small and always full, it looked like a motel pool. We payed for late check out which is a bit pricey and they interrupted us twice. Fortunately they refunded half of the fee when we told management.

Watch out, if youre not a Hilton card member holder, they dont serve well. Only shampoo, conditioner and body wash they have at the bathroom, requested toothbrush at 8am and was told itll take 30mins as there was no housekeeping on duty. Also, we were stucked at the parking elevator as we head out.

We were recently at the LINE for my sister's wedding reception. We were there all morning for bridal party hair and make up- the suite was more than ample to accommodate everyone and all of our things (more than 1 trash can would have been nice) I was able to check into my own room early with no issues. The room's AC was inconsistent, difficult to find the right temperature. The room we had was right behind the elevators so it was hard to sleep hearing them going nonstop til 3am. The bathroom was also extremely dark and hard to even see yourself in the mirror.

Clean spacious rooms, beautiful pool, well equipped gym. The only downside is the amount per night to park. It has gone up tremendously in the past few years. 55 for self park, 63 for vallet. This is probably the deal breaker for us to return

The location is very good, right by the Colorado River. Watching bats on the bridge in the evening is a great view of the Colorado River in Austin. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, with new facilities.

Not the properties fault, but there is some construction on nearby buildings. Valet parking is convenient but pricey. Ice machines are only on every other floor.

The location was convenient for me as it’s close to the University of Texas at Austin’s museums and the LBJ Presidential Library and to the state capitol. The hotel is right off sixth Street but feels very private and secluded its acute point hotel the service staff housekeeping and front desk were amazing very accommodating. The cleanliness was very good if I come back to Austin, I would definitely stay again or recommend this place.

Hotel was nice. Restaurants and bars in the hotel were convenient if a little pricey. Rooms were a little small but configured good with storage and dresser space. Shower door leaked a little and wish there was more towels. Otherwise pretty nice for the money.

Love the the room on a corner with awesome views and hotel it’s nicely located in downtown.

Highly Recommended Wonderful experience in downtown Austin. The hotel restaurants, bars, and coffee shop were on point.

Hotel was cozy and centralized. Parking options are scarce and overpriced which is expected for downtown but was annoyed more by The Aloft bar on the 2nd floor. I was charged 12$ for the jellyfish IPA while MENU price was 8$. I had quite a few & even though I was overcharged at the time of the bill, I sill tipped.

Staff was very friendly and updated our room to a suite free of charge. The room was clean and there are lots of great amenities close by including a theater and an awesome cafe/market around the corner. This was our second time staying here and both times we have been very happy.

We came here as a team for a baseball tournament and it was the perfect place for the kids to have some fun between game days at the pool, watch a movie out on the patio and even got to rent the media room for a Wii tournament!

When we arrived we were greeted with a smile by the receptionist. I actually forgot if I had Marriott bonvoy membership and he was very patient and he asked me to slowly check cause he didn’t want me yo lose my points which I felt was very sweet. Breakfast was served by Francis and she took great care of us and was with a smile always

The room was clean and comfortable with a lot of space, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the location was great for accessing downtown Austin. Conveniently next door to a Circle K fuel station if you need to pick any extra bits for your room! Plenty of parking onsite.

Our favourite stay of the whole trip! This place is such a gem, the room is great but the real winner is the stunning lobby area and pool. Such a fab place to chill out and right next to the lovely Hideout restaurant. Fab location, easy drive to anywhere from here.

Very good location and very cheap for the area. Staff were very accommodating and even changed my room without issue which was very nice.

Cold water for shower. Now I am a believer in the Win Hof method but I choose when I want a cold shower. Ugh. Toilet ran & ran. Hard to get carts on elevator. Toilet bowl lid did not match toilet. Terrible breakfast. Unresponsive staff. You get what you pay for. At least we left our car at home. One good thing was close to Amtrak, King bed & low price.

This place is not really a hotel. It gives off more of a motel vibe. The building is heavily outdated, with crumbling walls and stains. Our room was average. Bed was comfortable and clean. Customer service was subpar. Kicked us out after they mistakenly booked us under age. Carla, the large heavyset woman at the counter, was one of the rudest people I've dealt with. Find a better place there's a bunch of hotels on this st. don't pick this one.
