I stayed at the Arctic Club Hotel a few years ago with my family and we found the hotel to be beautiful inside and out. The lobby makes you feel like you are stepping back into the 1920's. The exterior stands out and is absolutely stunning.
The room was fantastic. I loved the charm and amazing aesthetic all around.

The history of the hotel is also fascinating! Definitely look up on it before or during you stay here.

If you have a spooky or ghostly experience here, don't be alarmed! The ghosts are friendly, and they are simply living their afterlife here.
When I stayed, I had a lot of fun ghost hunting! Definitely one of my favorite haunted spots in Seattle.

If you are planning a trip to Seattle anytime soon, definitely choose the Arctic Club Hotel.

The room was well appointed and very clean. Centrally located in downtown a few blocks from Pioneer Square and the Public Market. I had dinner my last night, the seared tuna and it was very good. The snacks at the front desk are a little overpriced. I will definitely be back.

We had to wait a long time to check in and we were told they will text us when our room was ready. NO message came through as the desk clerks changed and information was NOT shared. We could of waited until Doomsday for them. We went to them and they said "Oh your suite is ready".

Really great hotel. Beautiful charming building, kind, helpful staff. Great breakfast. The Polar Bar was super- cool with lots of cozy seating options.

Having stayed at another downtown Seattle hotel- that shall remain nameless- a couple weeks prior, this was a great opportunity to appreciate a clear distinction between the two.

Arctic Club can be described with one word; Class
Make that 2 words; Quiet Class

What I mean by that is that is; it is has a somewhat old-timey feel with couches and a pool table (not to mention a giant polar bear) in the bar/lounge, and the rooms are more sort of B&B-ish than most Seattle hotels just to set the scene.
Think "The Shining" without all of the you know....

You can buy a stuffed walrus out of the gift basket if you want.
Never seen THAT before.

But the staff, from the front desk to the bartenders, to the breakfast crew (GREAT breakfast which is included btw), is polite and professional, yet personable and charming at the same time. They're not trying too hard, if that makes sense.
You get the feeling that they started off with good, real people and trained them well.
They make you feel welcome and at home, but they don't overdo it with hospitality lingo and/or a fake smile, if that makes sense.

Everything about the Arctic Club is "just enough." (hate to use the term perfect.)

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The parking situation is a disaster and the valet parking is expensive, but that is pretty par for the course in Seattle.

Having said that, I would stay there again and plan to.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel is well maintained and the food was surprising good, both at the bar and the complementary breakfast. Must ask to see the Northern Lights Dome Room. Excellent venue. Easy walk to restaurants, Occidental Square, the Water Front, Luman Field, and T-Mobile Park. On our list for future trips.

Room was large and comfortable. The staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was good with and excellent dinner feel. Only thing not 5* was the polar club restaurant.

The staff was excellent, room was huge, and the breakfast was beyond amazing every day! It was buffet style with gourmet options and normal options for every taste!

This hotel is amazing! It’s got a lot of history. I love the old black & white photos of former club members in the lobby and room. I love the architecture with the walrus heads on the outside. Beautiful wood workmanship in the lobby and in the Polar Bar. Rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent, and the food in the Polar Bar is outstanding. One of the best hotels I ever stayed at.

This hotel is very charming. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms have a romantic aesthetic to them. However, the mattress itself seemed to be quite old and uncomfortable. The complementary breakfast was quite delicious. They have an open fireplace in the dining room that offers a lovely atmosphere however, nearby. The fire is the fresh fruit so the fire makes a fruit a bit warm. Due to the history, charm and friendly customer service I would recommend taking a visit to this hotel.

Dinner on a Friday night...special occasion...18th wedding anniversary. Made a reservation through Open Table noting the occasion and they accommodated us with a semi-private booth where we could have a romantic evening together. Roger, our server, was top-notch and kept us both entertained and educated on our choices for dinner.

I went for the 18 oz. Top Cap and my wife had the 4 oz./4 oz. combo. Sides of Lobster Mac and Wild Mushrooms were exquisite. We also enjoyed a well-executed Wedge Salad.

I can’t say enough nice things about our experience...attentive service...excellent steaks...great atmosphere. We’ll be back again.

Sat at the bar on a busy week night. Though I have not been in the bar part of this place before, I was greeted like an old friend. Cocktails are expensive but not out of line. My sidecar was spectacular! Delicious food is available and they have a great happy hour, also fantastic people watching.

It took us a minute to get a drink and the food was marginally late coming out but overwhelmingly food was awesome and the bartender was sweet.

The Crab & Shrimp fettuccini was UNREAL. Prime rib was good and onion rings were out of this world!!

A note for the 3 managers in duty. Resist the urge to watch television, it looks bad especially when the bar looks a mess, there are dirty tables and your staff is walking around with their own drinks in their hands sipping while in the floor (not alcoholic) to my knowledge. This is such a stellar place - keep it classy. You don’t find classy done well anymore so don’t let it go.

Good beef are pricey. We enjoyed the cuts we ordered. Reservation is preferred. We did not make reservation, therefore, were given a bar table. The service staff is very patient to explain the various beef and cuts. Overall, we are very satisfied with the meal. Recommended to try this.

There is no comparison to Metropolitan Grill. A stand alone. The superb food, the superb and professional service. Places like the Metropolitan are far too rare to find these days. We always make a point of coming in while in Seattle. Worth every penny!!
