Guzal&Guli Boutique Mini-hotel in Bukhara

Location is OK although there seem to be better hotels closer to the city sites. Service was not great. Want to charge 20 USD for a drain on a towel. Got very aggressive. My room was right across from reception and a number of people thought it was the lift!! Also that position meant that I heard everything going on out there even though the websute says the rooms are sound proofed. There were no tea and coffee making facilities. No bed side lamp. No chair for desk and no remote for television. Remote for air con had flat batteries. One good thing is they fid fix that. But disappointed overall.

Make sure you look at all the rules, including the fine print when you check in. Checking in with a large group, you often do not see them. If you have the smallest smudge on your towel, they demand that you pay USD $20 per towel. When you check out, they immediately go to the room and then start demanding that you pay, getting very rude. A lot of people were asked to pay. After several refused, all walked away.

Towels are incredibly hard and rough. My room also was only given 1/2 of a small roll of toilet paper to use for 2 days.

Many angry people.

Location of this hotel is good- a walking distance from the old and the new city. Room was decent. Breakfast was very limited to the extent that I even had to request for milk from my tea.

I am giving it one star rating specifically for the attitude and rigidness of the hotel staff. During our whole stay, we did not see any other guests at the hotel including at the breakfast so we might have been the only ones there . However when we requested for a checkout extension till 2 PM instead of 12, they rejected outright. Upon mentioning that rooms were all vacant, they said it was none of my business.We were given 2 small water bottles per day. Upon requesting for extra water, they mentioned I’d have to pay for it as I had already been provided for the day.

Service industry is all about providing good service and customer satisfaction . When you cannot even accommodate such basic guest requests, it is only natural that you sit in a prime location with empty rooms. It’s unfortunate . Will recommend tourists to look for other multiple hotel choices on the same road littered with hotels.

Location is good near the tourist areas
Breakfast was very limited no buffet just limited items and no juice were available when i went for breakfast.
Rooms are good and spacious
I stayed for 2 nights and staff did not refresh our towels,and toiletries.
This should be done if guest staying for 2 nights

Staff was very rigid had to call multiple times for getting tissues and water
