This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with any hotel or B&B. The room was filthy beyond belief — cockroaches, a horrible garbage-like smell, random smelly shoes and flip-flops left inside, and a broken toilet seat. It felt completely unhygienic and uninhabitable.

To make matters worse, the owner behaved aggressively when we decided to leave and move to another hotel. Although we had paid and it was late, we planned to collect our things the next day. He changed the lock and started yelling at us, clearly offended that we didn’t want to stay. His behavior escalated to the point where he tried to provoke a physical confrontation while his wife secretly filmed us from a hidden spot.

It was a disturbing, borderline traumatic experience that nearly ruined our trip.

Summary:
Avoid this place at all costs — not just for the shocking lack of cleanliness, but for the hostile and unhinged behavior of the owner. This isn’t just a bad hotel, it’s a risk to your peace of mind and safety.

Unfortunately, I experienced an extremely uncomfortable situation with one of the hotel employees - I believe his name was Husain. When I went to pay, we had a disagreement about the price. As I made my reservation through Booking, I went to get my cell phone from the room to show him the correct amount I was due. He went with me to the room. When we got there, my i*nerwear was on the bed. After a few minutes, while we were still trying to agree on a fair rate, Husain called me, pointed to the i*nerwear, and gave a thumbs up. Not satisfied, he then made a gesture as if he were squeezing breas*s. A few minutes later, he called my name again, pointed directly to my chest, and repeated the lewd gesture. I have no words to express how disrespectful, inappropriate, and disgusting his behavior was.

It is also important to mention that, to avoid paying Booking commissions, they ask you to cancel your stay on the platform. As it is a family business, I did not object. Now I regret it bitterly, as I cannot warn other travelers about the uncomfortable situation I went through.

About the hotel itself, the room was comfortable and the location was great. There was no water mid-afternoon most days I was there. Breakfast was nice. Other employees were friendly. However, they never provided me with the registration slip. After I left, I sent SMS messages and also contacted them through Booking - no response, no registration.

The hotel is decent. The family is sweet. But, the man, Hussain, is a creep, and looks at foreign women as objects. He makes women feel uncomfortable. And he doesn't even give you the registration required for going out of Uzbekistan. Very unprofessional and creepy.

Excellent location, comfortable rooms.
However, our experience there wasn't good because of the hosts.
Some members of the hosting family were very rude to us, spoke unpolitely, made us pay for a towel we used as a bathroom floor towel that wasn't provided. Breakfast was poor, no vegetables. Other members of the family talked to us nicely and helped us out. I would recommend to visit the city but it's better to find another place to stay.

This was the best hotel that I’ve stayed at during my trip to different cities in Uzbekistan. The owner and his family were very warm, welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure their hotel
guests are happy. The breakfast is good, the rooms are clean and the hotel main areas are decorated super nice and traditional. The location is great, it is just a 30 second walk to the famous minaret tower.
