Ardani Hotel in Samarkand

Our stay in Samarkand was unforgettable thanks above all to the outstanding hospitality of Savlat at the reception. He speaks excellent English, is extremely generous, and constantly went the extra mile to assist us — from helping with money exchange to thoughtful gestures that made us feel truly welcome. His kindness and professionalism elevated our experience beyond expectations. It is because of people like Savlat that traveling becomes such a memorable and meaningful experience.

The hotel itself is also excellent: within walking distance of Registan, with spacious rooms, large and comfortable beds, all necessary facilities, and an abundant, varied breakfast. The laundry service is offered at a very good price, which was very convenient during our travels.

We truly enjoyed our time here — it was the perfect reset after a busy itinerary. We had already visited Khiva and Bukhara, but this was by far the best stay of our trip.

A good budget hotel with a good location to attractions

The morning service needs improvement, but the service itself is quite good.

Advantages: 1. Excellent location. Approximately a 15-minute walk from Registan Square. 2. The front desk staff were very helpful, assisting with luggage up and down stairs even without an elevator. 3. There's a viewing platform on the third floor with sofas and tables, suitable for leisure travelers. Disadvantages: 1. Room types are not standard; the size of the double rooms varies. When no rooms were available, I was given a triple room with a bed that appeared to be only 0.8 meters wide. 2. There's no POS machine at the front desk, and the prepaid deposit cannot be deducted from the room rate; only cash payment is accepted.

We were in Samarcand to visit, we arrived there at 10am just to live our luggage, but our room was already prepare so they kindly made us an early check in, what was perfect. The day they after we went to a tour, and our leaving hour was sooner then the breakfast time, so they made a take a way kit for us to take. They always ask us if we need water, or something else. The staff was amazing, always making sure that we were having the best experience, and they speek a really good english too. The location is good, 10min walk to the Registan Square trough a nice avenue, without all the turist mess of the center, it's a really calm and quiet place. The rooms are big, clean and well prepared. If I come back I will definitely stay there again.

Booked by chance, it turned out to be a great choice! Excellent location, on a quiet street 10 minutes from all the attractions! Excellent property, very well-maintained and above all, spotlessly clean! Excellent breakfast too! The highlight is the owner, who, along with his brother, are priceless! They go out of their way to meet every guest's need! The rooftop terrace is beautiful! Highly recommended!

100% recommended!! The reception is very friendly and helpful, the room is spacious, clean and warm (important in winter months). The breakfast is prepared with care and the dining environment well maintained, if the weather is good you are also eat outside in the balcony and enjoy the views.

Another thing I appreciate is that it’s a boutique hotel and does not have many rooms so it’s very quiet in the evening and we had good sleep. It’s ~13mins walk from Registan square. Please note that they provide soap instead of shower gel and there is no hair conditioner, the towel can feel a bit harsh for soft skins. Cash payment is preferred.

I enjoyed my stay at Ardani Hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. But the real highlight was the staff. The owner/manager was incredibly helpful—by far the most kind and attentive person we encountered at any hotel during our trip (including super fancy ones). He quickly booked taxis for us, assisted with money exchange, and provided valuable information about where to get SIM cards and which markets to visit. His enthusiastic and friendly attitude made all the difference. Although we only stayed one night, his exceptional service far exceeded our expectations and set us up well for the rest of our trip!
