Timur and his family were the most friendly hosts. We arrived early in the morning (around 4 a.m.) but we're still able to get already in our rooms. The breakfast was very rich and various, with tea, vegetables, fruits, omelette and even baklava. Timur was also extremely helpful with explaining the taxi driver our next stop. I have stayed here twice and had numerous friends stay here. Temur aka and his family are absolutely wonderful people. Not only are the accommodations modern, spacious, and comfortable, but the guesthouse is perfectly located and the breakfasts are superb. Temur aka and his family are also extremely knowledgeable about the city and very willing to help with anything you might need. Could not recommend...

Friendly, helpful host. Simple and tasty breakfast included. Close to everything you need from shops to restaurants. Clean comfortable room with cozy atmosphere and big bed. Cheap price. The best place of our trip in Uzbekistan.

Nice guesthouse in a good location. Rooms were new, very spacious and warm!! I was in Uzbekistan in winter and not all rooms were warm in other places I stayed. Owner Timur is very nice and late checkout the day I left was no problem. Breakfast was less spectacular than some but certainly adequate.

Three generations live here. It felt like visiting a family home, and it was great to get a glimpse into local life. It was a charming difference from a large hotel. It was also helpful that the owner speaks English and accepts credit cards. Although his wife doesn't speak English, we communicated via app, and she was always smiling and kind. They were quick to respond when we ran out of toilet...

The guesthouse also has a shared restaurant. Breakfast is decent, and you can buy drinks and snacks at the property, which is convenient. However, if you visit during the hot season, make sure to get an air-conditioned room. Samarkand can be unbearably hot at night. They also provide a residence registration card.

This is a family-run hostel. There's a shop next door, so you can easily find drinks, snacks, and more. The bathroom and toilet are shared, but they're separate, so the floor isn't soggy when you go to the toilet. The breakfast was delicious. The neighbors were friendly, and when they realized we were Japanese, they would greet us every time we passed by and invite us in for tea. There's a naan baker...

Clean, comfortable, friendly hosts

A family run guest house in central Samarkand. Easy to find. Wife speaks great English, husband speaks Russian and no doubt other languages. Very welcoming when I arrived. A big room with four single beds. I only needed one! Clean white towels, drinking water. The bathroom was very clean. For breakfast I was given so much amazing food. Porridge, stuffed pancakes, eggs, cheese, sausage, salad, fruit...

This is a wonderfully lovely guesthouse which I highly recommend. The owner and hostess is very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast is big and delicious. There is a lovely garden with flowers, cherry trees and little turtles living among the plants. It is perfectly located within a short walk to the market and Registan. You will love it here.
