It's more of a guesthouse, family-run guesthouse, or B&B. Very attentive and caring staff, all rooms open onto a courtyard, cozy, good WiFi, reliable hot water, and a super location. Perfect for leaving early in the morning and returning in the evening.

This is an older hotel. Our room was a decent size – a little dated, but OK, and acceptably clean. There was no place for toiletries in the bathroom; there was just a single towel bar (need more) and the shower head was designed for people over 7 feet tall. Towels were scratchy and the sheets on the very hard bed were rough. The A/C worked well, but made odd crackling noises. There was a lovely terrace...

The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was questionable. Staff doesn't seem to understand that some foods must be refrigerated. The room was fine. The TV mostly didn't work.

There was no car to pick me up from the station, so I took a taxi. The local staff at the travel agency contacted me and allowed me to check in even though it was before noon. The room was cute and clean, and the Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked well. It was conveniently located within walking distance of major tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was very kind and I was very happy. It was one of my most memorable experiences in Uzbekistan.It's a little far from the tourist center, but the staff will help you call a taxi. I would like to use this hotel again when I go to Uzbekistan.

The hotel is beautiful, but the entrance is a bit hard to find. The shower is difficult to adjust — the water is either too hot or too cold. Breakfast runs out very quickly and the options are quite limited.

It's about a 15-minute walk from Registan Square. The facilities are very new, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are the same. The shower water pressure and hot water worked without any problems. There was a water dispenser on each floor, which was convenient.

We had a fantastic stay in this guesthouse and the warmest welcome ever. All the family is simply amazing and the middle boy is smart and incredibly competent for his age (12). They helped us , the other guests and also tourists they met on the morning of the triathlon race when all the roads were closed. We will always remember their spontaneous hospitality and their kindness. Very very highly recommended

They noticed that we were distressed and invited us into their guesthouse to relax until the roads opened again. This was without doubt my best experience in a guest house in Samarkand. The house and every room was very tastefully designed with obvious passion. Cleaning was continuous and impeccable. The family owns the place is simply wonderful! This ensured that I always felt at home. I sincerely hope to be able to return very soon.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was plentiful. While the older staff didn't speak much English, the younger ones did. It's close to the old town, and the university area is just a right turn away. The scenery is beautiful, and there are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. The only downsides are the lack of a kettle, toothbrush, and toothpaste.

Very good hotel, renovated rooms, comfortable beds, and the owners very friendly and accommodating. The location is super central. We're from Germany and stayed for a week. I highly recommend it!

Nice clean modern hotel, just yards from the Registan. A clear improvement on our stops in Tashkent and Khiva, worth paying a little extra. Good breakfast buffet. But they should get a card machine and stop insisting on being paid in cash, it’s the modern way, even though there are ATMs aplenty in Samarkand now.

It was a classic and stylish mansion. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. Since it was the furthest room, the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, and the bed mattress needed replacing. It's within walking distance of Siap Bazaar. There are no large supermarkets nearby, but there's a small one 350 meters away. It's about a 400-meter walk to the restaurant.

A wonderful small family-run hotel, good value for money. I booked through Booking.com, and a room cost me just $20. The interior has an authentic, colorful design. It's located near the historic center. We had trouble with the shower pressure, so ask the hostess how to turn on the water motor. The breakfasts are delicious.

The hotel is easy to reach from the train station by tram 2 and is close to the Siyob market. It's a traditional hotel and our smallish room looked like a fairytale with velvet and bright colours. The bed was quite hard, and the original sheets too small until we asked for bigger ones. The shower was old and the water not always hot. Breakfast was okay, staff very friendly.

Everything is good, but there was no air conditioning in the room. In this heat, it is simply necessary.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Registan Square. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home.

When you open the door from the road and enter the hotel, you'll find yourself in a different world. It's even more beautiful at night. You have to take your shoes off when you enter the building. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance.

The interior is super cute and the location is perfect, just walking distance from Registan Square. On our last day, we were leaving early in the morning and worried we wouldn't be able to eat breakfast, but they kindly gave us a breakfast box lunch. Thank you!

The room was clean and cozy, the host was very welcoming, the breakfast was plentiful, and the guesthouse was in a great location, within walking distance of all the major attractions. Samarkand is truly a treasure trove of an ancient city, I loved it here. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

The hotel (or guesthouse) was unique, and the service was excellent. They even arranged breakfast for us at 6:00 AM, which had a wide variety of food options and a beautiful and comfortable environment. They tried their best to meet our needs. The location was superb, making it very convenient to walk to attractions.

The hotel is conveniently located near Registan Square. The staff were all friendly, the room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the air conditioning, shower, and toilet all worked without any problems. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety and plenty of freshly prepared food. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good, though not the freshest renovation. A wonderful combination of European spirit with national color for Uzbekistan. Large rooms. English breakfast Small parking, but there is always a place to stop. Nice courtyard. Laundry.

Very reasonable prices for accommodation. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are spacious as well. The ceiling are high too. Since cabs are cheap in Uzbekistan, visiting places is no problem Bank, Saloon and Mini market are near by

Great location 3 min walk from Registan square. Great, tasty, big breakfast. Free tea, fruit, biscuits at the common area. Very kind, helpfull staff. The room was very clean, big, the bed was big and a private toilet&shower. The hostel is very clean with a nice, quiet patio in the middel.

It was a mixed experience of both, like room was big and not cozy, washroom was there but not everyday room service, furniture was old, a Little bit problem with door lock and flash also. But the management was good also the service was enough. Breakfast at hotel also very good delicious and healthy. With a touch of local and continental meal mix-up. Al though the location was good and near to Registan...

We stayed a few nights in two separate rooms, as we took a trip out of Samarkand. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Few biscuits, tea and coffee throughout the day. The breakfast is delicious. The first room we stayed in had a great tiled bathroom, air con and firm beds. For our best stay, the beds were a bit too cushiony, there was no air con and the bathroom had a cheap plastic...

Really convenient location with very friendly and helpful personel. A beautiful garden where you can chill out during the heat of the day with some tea. The rooms are nothing luxury, but that is in balance with the low price of this hotel. An absolute amazing place if you don't mind having a bit less luxury in your room!

B&B Bahodir offers wonderful hospitality in the busy touristy areas of Samarkand. Located a mere 5,6 minutes by walk from the Registan, this property is close to the major actions in tourism. It is also quite close to the train station. I do think that the rooms and the facilities tend to be a little bit aged. The shower in our room was a trickle. A wonderful luxury hotel with excellent service that eschews rowdy guests so that other guests can enjoy the hotel's tranquility and service.

Staying at Casa De Higos in Samarkand was an unforgettable experience. The staff was incredibly hospitable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay throughout. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities.

I came twice because I really enjoyed it! Certainly the hotel is a little out of the way but it is quiet. The managers are very kind and intentional. The breakfast is varied and excellent, the rooms are all air-conditioned and impeccably clean! To recommend without hesitation :)

Very cozy, clean mini hotel (8 rooms) with good sound insulation. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and welcoming. Stayed at the hotel for one night with children and friends. Varied, delicious breakfasts - just like at home. We really enjoyed. I recommend.

A great place for a quiet overnight stay, especially before or after a flight. The owners are extremely polite and polite people, they have a very nice son who speaks English. Delicious breakfast, plentiful and varied. I definitely recommend it.
