Comfortable but not clean.
We have not hot water
A very large, somewhat impersonal, but adequate hotel for larger groups. Clean rooms, good location on the boulevard – relatively quiet. Very large selection at breakfast. Good coffee machine.
We had a wonderful time here. The beds were extremely comfortable, and with the curtains drawn, we took the best naps of our lives! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast buffet had a lot of wonderful options. We had friends with us, one of whom was a vegetarian, and she had no trouble eating to her heart's content. Perhaps the one downside was that our WiFi signal was poor. I...
A wonderful hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful and cozy rooms, comfortable beds, clean, we loved everything. It's located near the Registan, easy to get to by taxi. The only downside is the poor breakfasts, limited choice, and not very tasty.
We spent two nights there as part of a tour. Although it's not in the city center, you can walk to the main square in 15-20 minutes. It's clean, and the room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and adequate. It's not brand new, but it's well-maintained. We slept well. The area is safe, even at night.
It's a bit of a walk to the center, but it's within walking distance. It's close to the university, so there are students walking around even at night, so it's safe. The shower room has a glass door that closes, so there's no need to worry about water leaking.

This is cozy hotel with the great service, boys on the reception will provide u everything u need.
Rooms r different, some r better some not. Breakfast is not bad.
The hotel have great potential as the location is also perfect.
We were really enjoying staying here.
I stayed for 5 days. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The ambiance(very peaceful and feels like home), foods (especially fresh fruits) and Kudos to the staffs Mr Abbos and Mr Suhrob, they are very attentive, kind and helpful to us. We really appreciate all their efforts and help during our stay. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel and take note it’s just 5-10 minutes walk going to Registan Square.
Right in the middle of town is this gem of a hotel. Great Service and always willing to help. Heated rooms and English-speaking staff. Very cool neighbors with no interferences enjoyed my stay.
Location just around the key Registan Square
WiFi everywhere
Located centrally, helpful friendly staff. Booked through agoda at last moment, paid a higher price , 15 usd per person per night without breakfast is appropriate. Multiple breakfast options all around, cam skip hotel breakfast. All rooms don’t have air conditioning, need to specify while booking in summer.

This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, offering culture experience with unique presentation/interior design of rich Uzbek tradition. We were welcome by the reception who gave some explanations and explained the history of the hotel.

Our recent stay at the Silk Road Empire Hotel in Samarkand was absolutely magnificent! This hotel truly captures the spirit of its historic location.
We could not have asked for a better spot. Being just a quick taxi ride from the stunning Registan Square made sightseeing super easy. The hotel itself is designed like you stepped back in time to the days when Samarknad was the hotspot of the Silk Road...
This is a really nice property. They go all out of the way to make the stay comfortable for you. The room is clean and spacious with two twin beds , breakfast is a spread. Everything. Is a 10 min taxi ride away from here
We booked a triple room, which was very clean and uniquely decorated. The service was friendly, the breakfast was plentiful, and they even offered to store our luggage. They even arranged a free train ride to the train station upon departure, gave us a special gift, and even took a photo with us! Overall, it was a fantastic stay! The only downside was the lack of slippers and a shower cap!
This hotel and the service we received was a very pleasant surprise. Its location is perfect, the service is excellent. The hotel is brand new, recently opened, the rooms are very clean and the bed and pillows are very high quality and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Samarkand.
Hotel staff is amazing. They attend to all your requests. Service is the best that we have experienced. The hotel itself is very nice. Throughout the property it is decorated with Uzbekistan decors. Room was very clean and spacious. If there is a way to give more than 5 stars we would. Recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Samarkand

This hotel has great access to Registan Square and the new city. The staff were also very friendly and wonderful. I was able to fully enjoy sightseeing in Samarkand.
We loved staying here for four nights. Right from the third-floor breakfast terrace, we had great views of Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum (Amir Timur and family). In the early morning hours there were bird songs and calls to prayer. A very good value, especially for the location. Still some shortcomings. I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Dilshoda in Samarkand. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of main attractions, and the area feels safe even at night. The staff were friendly, professional, and very attentive throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend.

There are many hotels in Samarkand that are impossible to get to by car.
The staff at this hotel really helped us out by checking us in quickly, considering that we were with a small dog.
The rooms are very comfortable, everything is new, the renovation is excellent (in its own style).
The breakfast was a big surprise, we have been traveling around Asia for half a year now, and this was the best breakfast...
The hotel is good, nothing wow but it gets the job done especially if you're on a budget. The rooms are large but no windows. The location is good but not within walking distance, but taxis are available and cheap. Breakfast is average, the receptionists are helpful and kind, the place is quiet and relaxing.
Polite and friendly staff, wonderful breakfasts, clean room and shower, snow-white bed linen and towels. I liked everything!
Luxurious hotel. Price\Quality is simply not comparable to 90% of hotels. I recommend it. If you keep the level, keep the freshness that you have now, you will be my choice for every trip to Samarkand)
We really liked this hotel. The rooms are all very clean, spacious, all the furniture is new, excellent location, along the road, quiet area, sound insulation 10 out of 10. I recommend it to everyone👍🇰🇿

Very well decorated hotel!.
Full of antic ornaments.
The owner collect beautiful old stuffs which is so amazing.
There were many paintings and old clothes and old lamp in my room.
The room is a museum and gallery.
You will sleep in the museum 😁
This was very special experience!
Great place with super kind and hospitable host. Wish I could have stayed longer.
The guest house located at old town, 20 mins to train station. The guest does not provide kettle, cup & tea in the room but they do have self service kitchen. The owner is easy to communicate. He has provide us a map. Most of attractions are walkable. Registan Square is abt 1km away. Art Cafe & Cafe Bobur are worth to visit.
It's a very nice guesthouse, very clean, located near all attractions in Samarkand. The room is very spacious and the owner is very helpful and speek very good english.
There is also a shared kitchen.
Excellent! The room was very large, spacious, and warm. It was also very clean and quiet at night. The location is great too, just a ten-minute walk to the square.
The owner was very welcoming, and the location is good, about a ten-minute walk from Registan Square. There are no restaurants nearby, only small convenience stores. The guesthouse does have a small kitchen.

One of the fine Hotel. With homely environment and very clean and tidy. Mr Sarwar in reception is very helpful. It’s is run by owner whose house is just behind the property. You get home experience.
They will allow you to go Laundry room for wash and Ironing.
Breakfast need to be improved a bit.
Down town is 5 mins drive from hotel. You can book car through Yandex App.
Thank you for your hospitality. They re ready to go above and beyond to provide great hospitality and customers service. Beds are comfortable, everything was so clean and breakfast was amazing. Sarvar did a great job, rahmat!
Lovely hotel, clean rooms, very warm. Large smart TV (there is Wi-Fi, YouTube works), minibar, electric kettle. But there is no hair dryer in the bathroom (you can ask at the reception). Varied breakfast. We had 2 types of porridge, fried eggs, boiled eggs, croutons, pancakes, tubes, various cookies, sweets, jams, fresh fruits, dried fruits, teas, coffee, juices. Many thanks to the Ahmad hotel staff
Excellent Mini hotel, all family. At the entrance you need to take off your shoes, i.k. the whole hotel is carpeted, and everyone walks like at home barefoot. The rooms are small and nothing speciel. But We both had a great night sleep, because of the bed, pilow and the great gold temp.

Nice hotel, where the rooms are arranged on three levels. On the ground floor the rooms open around a small central courtyard. On the top floor there is a large terrace. We stayed at Nippon Hotel for over 20 days, and it was an amazing experience. The manager treated us very well and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!
The owner supposedly speaks fluent Japanese, but she was out.
The female manager doesn't speak Japanese, English, or Russian at all. Communication is limited to Google Translate. When I dropped off my laundry, she returned it still damp and unfolded in a bag, so I had to hang it out again. I'm a bit lazy, considering laundry dries quickly if I do it early in the morning.
There was no hot water kettle...

It was amazing experience for the weekend stay.
This was our best hotel in Uzbekistan! The room was big with high ceilings and everything was very clean. The staff at the front desk were helpful and the breakfast was very good, with lots of different options. If I returned to Samarkand, I would book Diyor Gold again without a second thought.
Friendly guesthouse with large comfortable room, lots of closet space. Even though our room faced the street, it was quiet. Nice bathroom with towel warmer. Good breakfast with many options. We had our laundry done at a low price. Delicious samsas place nearby. 20 plus minutes walking to Registan.
Hotel Dior Gold in Samarkand is a remarkable experience for us. The hotel stay was beyond our expectations and we three families enjoyed the stay very well. We are very happy with their exceptional hospitality and attentive staff, especially the person in the reception surprised us with his guest hospitality
Overall, a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication for an unforgettable stay.
Great hotel for sightseeing in Samarkand. About 20 minutes walk to main tourist attractions. Rooms are clean and new. Really nice people working there. Great local restaurants near by (away from tourist traps). Our favourite is the samsa down the road.
The place is beautiful. Loved the service. We wanted to check in a bit earlier that day. They were nice enough to accommodate for that with no issue. The rooms were warm (weather was cold ~17-20C). A slight suggestion for them is to improve the breakfast, especially the variety of foods being offered. The overall experience was lovely for me.

A very cozy hotel, when the beautiful design came in, flowers bloomed and fruits ripened on the trees, birds sang, they met good-naturedly, and took them to the room, it was clean, bright and dust-free, the car was organized and drove along historical monuments. In the evening we cooked our favorite food, it was an excellent light, sweet and tasty breakfast.
I advise you to visit.
This is a great hotel, we came with my family in the summer and it was beautiful there, different fruits grew on the trees and there is a national dish I liked how good cooks cook pilaf before my eyes and good attitude clean rooms, toilets are cooked in the tandoor flatbread thank you for the service and kindness .
A cozy hotel. I came late in the night. The host forgot to put towels in the room which was fixed upon request. I would add that a breakfast is a bit modest but that aligns with the price.

Because we liked it here. Nice hotel in a quiet area. Courteous staff. Large rooms, also have their own hygiene room. Cozy and comfortable.
They give a towel for use, but it's better to take your own. If you have questions about where to go and where to eat deliciously, you can ask the manager 😊, he will tell you.
Normal hotel for value for money. The rooms are quite comfortable, the family has a bathroom and shower. The staff is friendly. In the morning, a complimentary good breakfast. Located slightly away from the center, but not critical. Can be reached on foot. In general, a "free" Samarkand taxi will solve all problems ... The disadvantage is too good audibility.
Clean, calm. There is a small parking lot. Do not look for a room with a toilet in the room, there are none and never will be - everything is on the floor. Good breakfasts, but very early (8:30-9 am) and strangely ornied: each room is called separately in a conspiratorial tone for breakfast.

They were kind enough to store my luggage before check-in.
It was easily accessible from Registan Square, so I was able to easily go see the sunrise in the morning.
The hotel was clean, and the shower room had a door instead of a curtain, which was comfortable.
The front desk staff were also very helpful.
It's a shame that my train was early and I couldn't have breakfast.
The owner was friendly.
It was a three-bedroom, but the room was small, so there wasn't enough space to open my suitcase.
There were some ants on the breakfast table.
Don't eat the cereal.
You can try the ant cereal.
Location is the best. It's very close with registan.
And employees are kind.
I stayed at Registan Gold Hotel and overall had a decent experience.
Positive aspects:
• The staff allowed me to check in earlier than the official 14:00 time, which was very convenient.
• The bed was large and extremely comfortable.
• Excellent location – only 5–10 minutes walking from Registan Square and other main attractions.
• Staff members speaking Turkish made communication easier.

It's really convenient to be able to walk to places like Registan Square. However, it's located down an alley and can be a bit difficult to find.
