Breakfast is good , but room is too small even though we had booked premier

Bed was comfortable but the facilities need a little up-keeping. Location wise it’s a short walk to old quarter and also near enough to bus stops to travel further if you’d like. The sink and toilet drainage was slow and the shower water leaked into the bedroom but the staff said they’ll look into it when I gave feedback. There was also a nail sticking out of the bedframe luckily I didn’t injure myself

Friendly and attentive service, well-maintained rooms, and convenient location. However, the hotel is situated in a narrow alley, which might be inconvenient when carrying luggage. It is located nearby some tourist attractions

If you make your own way there, you might have trouble finding the hotel, as the entrance is at the end of an alleyway and does not front onto the road.
However, the location is great, with much of the city just a short walk away.
The staff are without exception very polite and go out of their way to help you. The buffet breakfast is great, with a wide selection and eggs are cooked to your requirements.
We booked tours through the very helpful Alex at the hotel, with pick-up and drop-off at the hotel. We arrived fairly late one evening and wanted a snack, so the doorman ordered something through Grab on our behalf and even bought it up to our room when it was delivered. Another staff member accompanied me to an ATM (and respectfully waited some distance away) when the one nearest the hotel was not working.
Cannot fault the service and would definitely recommend.

I am delighted to say that this was the best hotel of my trip. The room was spacious, clean, modern, and very comfortable.

During the Tet festival, the hotel receptionist went above and beyond by helping to arrange food delivery. The staff spoke English very well and were quick to assist with any issues or requests.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Price is good compare to other options in old town
Room is big, clean but the concept in the room is not convenience to me
Breakfast has few choice only
But the plus point is a wooden floor, make room feel cleaner and no smell dusty

I was uncomfortable because there was no place to put my carrier in my room. I went to many hotels in Hanoi, but the facilities and services were not suitable for me.

This hotel near in Hanoi street town very easy to go walking around town, hotel have very strong hospitality and customer service experience how to explain to guest where to recommend near by place to the guest, specially thanks to Ms Stella Front Desk Supervisor, Mr CS Tinh Front Desk staff, Mr Alex GSM from Front Desk, all the front desk staff very helpful and speak English very well and friendly. Highly recommendation to solo travellers. Personality talk to Front Office Manager and surprise he can speak Chinese very well ❤️🇻🇳

I've visited Hanoi many times, and my stay at Grand Cititel Hanoi was exceptional. Though the room wasn't too big, it was cleaned daily, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. However, the two main reasons I chose Grand Cititel were:
1, its convenient location—close to my preferred destinations and near a pho restaurant with friendly vendors and the nearby coffee shops and restaurants.
2, The staff were outstanding. Special thanks to Alex for handling any issues that arose during my stay. He was always ready to help with his understanding of the trip and the local area, truly a great leader for the young team, including Ms. Hoai, Nhi, and Mr. Phat.

Next time I visit Hanoi, I'll definitely choose Grand Cititel again. Highly recommended!
