Diamond Legend Hotel in Hanoi

Let’s start off by saying the staff are nice, quick and easy check-in/check-outs, and want to help the way they can.

When we entered the lobby the hotel seemed to be empty, no lights were on and tiles are broken inside and outside of the hotel. When we entered the hotel someone was sitting in the dark that was working there. He showed us to our room that didn’t have a door handle to get in.

The rooms do not look ANYTHING like the pictures, everything is plastered with fake wood wallpaper, the furniture and outlets are broken and dirty. There was no good soap in the room, no holder for the toilet paper, an old shaving razor in the shower was still there and it was all dirty so we didn’t even shower during our stay.

Really wish it was different, we know compared to Western standards these cheap hotels can be less fortunate but we didn’t have a good stay here due to the hygiene.
